There is a legend that the brave Hussar Lieutenant Rzhevsky served in the Pavlograd Hussar regiment.
Of course, this is a good reason for the material consolidation of the legend in the specified city.
And here is a wonderful Belarusian sculptor Vladimir Ivanovich Zhbanov, who gave the world many different interesting sculptures, and created a sculpture of Rzhevsky.
It should be added that in total three identical Rzhevsky lieutenants were made.
One twin brother was installed in Kursk (Russia), the second twin brother was installed in Dolgoprudny (Russia), and the third turned out to be in the city of Pavlograd (Ukraine).
I do not know the exact order - perhaps it was the first one that was installed in Pavlograd. But this does not change the essence - Pavlograd has its own magnificent bronze lieutenant Rzhevsky!
