This is a true treasure in Armenia. Our family enjoyed it for 4 days and will return soon. Highly recommend. Great place, fantastic service and deloshius food made by professional chef. THANKS A LOT Popok resort.
At first glance, the hole is a hole. There are leaning stone boxes on iron piles on the mountain. The floor is sloped in many rooms. The holes between the door and the frame are 3 cm. In cold weather, you just freeze. We bought insulation to cover the holes ourselves. It is possible that it is normal in summer. It was built recently, but frankly as cheaply as possible in the style of an Armenian village. There are spiders in the rooms, as these are stone caves in nature on the slope of a steep mountain. There is a battery, but it does not help. There is a room with no windows at all. From the road, you can walk up to the 10th floor on the road without lighting and without asphalt. Even the descent from the unloading point to the reception is very steep and paved with stones. It's hard to walk with a suitcase. Rooms are cleaned only if you leave the keys at the reception. There is no closet. All rooms are different.
But then you realize that you can live. Each room has a heater that saves you. There is a kettle. There is hot water. There are towels and slippers. The TV is working. Three sockets in the room. In general, it is very close to the center compared to other accommodation options. The view of the neighboring mountains is beautiful. WiFi is available and works well throughout the territory. You can ask for a hairdryer at the reception. The restaurant's veranda can be used as a public space for the company.
There is a restaurant. It's just there. They can feed you. There are breakfasts, but they are monotonous, only the porridges change. Instant coffee. The cook is a man. It is better to have dinner in the center, where you can choose a restaurant to your taste.
There is a supermarket type store with different departments downstairs on the street. There are groceries, clothes, shoes and household supplies.
The worst thing is the cost of this pleasure. 15,000 drams per night for a room for two, ~ 4,000 rubles, in my opinion, is twice too much.
In general, it is much better than living in a tent in a camping, but much worse than in a hotel in an ordinary city. You should know exactly why you came to Dilijan to choose such accommodation. Feed the local cats if possible, please, they are always hungry, as the locals and the staff do not like cats and leave them to live on their own. Dogs are somehow fed, although they are also being chased.
PS. Some of the reviews and some of the photos are not from this place. There cannot be a wedding in a guest house with leaning walls for 20 people.
