Eliza Ozheshko, nee Pavlovskaya Elzbieta: Polish-language writer and public figure.
Creative years from 1866 to 1910, novelist, genre: short story, novella, novel.
Eliza Ozheshko collected a herbarium and about 228 folk names of plants of the Grodno region.
The monument to Eliza Ozheshko was unveiled on October 20, 1929, on Theater Square, which was located on the site of the modern city park.

Zerich Romuald, Polish sculptor.
Then he disappeared.
He was later found in one of the city cemeteries.
In August 1947, the monument was inaugurated in the place where it still stands today.
