I was there that day. We guys and a friend were standing at the start, it's 150-200 m to the east, where cafes and something else are now built. He took off immediately after the start, right there on the first lap. The race continued, and it took a long time to get him out of the car. When we got to the car after the race, we understood why. His formula hit the trees exactly where the racer was. He was squeezed, breaking everything on the right. It was a junior formula, "Youth", in Estonia-15 with a 350 cc motorcycle engine Izh. And more. This modest monument was made with the money of the chipped racers. The State did not participate
The section N-9031 connects the Uruchye microdistrict and Novaya Borovaya. Thousands of motorists pass through here every day. And not all of them pay attention to the modest monument, hidden from view by the branches of pine trees. A rather strange concrete structure in the form of two stripes resembles tire tracks left on asphalt. They end with a gentle upward climb, as if referring to the Christian idea of going to heaven. It cannot be said that the monument is completely abandoned: sometimes someone cleans concrete slabs, removes weeds and wild plants. There is a sign on the stove where it says: "Slava Starostenko, a racer, was killed during a car race." And the date is 1977. The investigation of the circumstances of that tragedy led to an unexpected discovery. It turns out that an abandoned race track is hidden in the middle of the capital's Uruch.
We accidentally came out of the forest to this place. It became interesting... It was found out that in the 60-70 years, races were held at this place. People (racers and spectators) often died at this place
