We did not find a post office in Tsandripsha, by chance, fortunately, we found a set of postcards with views of the cities of Abkhazia (10 pieces for 300 rubles), in New Athos we were lucky, we found a post office, bought stamps with a face value of 30 rubles. but we paid 50 rubles each. The girl who worked there was asked to put a stamp on them, after learning that the postcards were going to Russia, she took 150 rubles each for shipment, I sent 3 pieces, my girlfriend 4 pieces, the postcards became expensive to us in the truest sense. We returned home, we have been waiting for them since September 12, and they never reached Khabarovsk, St. Petersburg, or Krasnodar.

This is some kind of journey into the past. I've already forgotten how it used to be at our post office during my childhood. We usually try to send a postcard from any major city we visit. N.Athos is no exception. The postcard arrived 3 weeks later. Moreover, the postcard itself dates back to the USSR. Even the price on it costs 4 kopecks)) The post office itself has not been repaired for several decades. Even the booths for negotiations are the same as in childhood. The female employee is very nice and polite, she said that there were 2 negotiations all day and we were the first to buy a postcard today. I felt such a nostalgic and aching feeling in this department....
