If you're looking for love and adventure, you're definitely not here. Railay has its own relaxing atmosphere- on a restaurant street, cafes for different budgets, a souvenir, Rastafarian bars with live music- and you don't have to drink anything there, you can just grab a glass and enjoy live music. The beach - lagoon of the princess is greeted by overhanging rocks- you feel like a grain of sand at this moment, for me, a grotto for desires with members is superfluous there- but it attracts a lot of ladies- they probably ask for a "rich" husband with a lot.... With a wallet , or at least a thick one . I recommend walking to the middle of the beach, where you can go to the cliff at low tide. Around the bend, at the end of the beach, there is privacy - just you, the rocks, the purest sand and the sea. At low tide, you can also walk along the rocks and take pictures. You can also sail to this beach by kayak, renting it on the main beach, in this case you will have a lot of impressions.
Hotels are the only one, probably the most decent hotel On the beach of princesses - the cost starts from 50 per day, the rest have some nuances: there are expensive hotels, but with a really good view - chic rooms, everything is expensive and rich, live music in the evenings. There are hotels off the beach with stunning views of the cliffs, but the rooms need renovation. There are very green hotels, the number of rooms is different. Everything is relative.... Krabi, namely Railay, is a very cool place, I advise you to stay there for 3/4 days- lie on the purest sand, swim in the emerald sea, look at the rocks / feel like something very small under the majestic cliffs

A great and exotic place to relax! You can always find a place to eat delicious food, a good salon with Thai massage, a rich market, many different shops and even sun beds near the cafe are available! I recommend you to visit at least once

But you have to understand that staying here in a hotel, you are practically on a desert island. It's not realistic to get out anywhere. There is no land road!
I didn't go far along the beach, I didn't have time.
I saw live monkeys rampaging on the roofs of buildings.

I took a boat, took a refrigerator from them, loaded ice into it, everything I bought in the store and food in cafes.(you can also buy noodles to brew on the island)
Bottom line:
I spent the whole day on a very beautiful desert island with my own food.

Of course, this is an unrealistically beautiful place. And it's better to stay here for at least a couple of days to feel and absorb everything. A day trip is not the same at all. We spent 4 days here, visited all the beaches, went kayaking, walked through the jungle, saw monkeys, monitor lizard, toucan.
Raleigh Beach, of course, is better than the western one, which ships sail to, but even here it can be dirty. And garbage is, in general, a shame for such a place. No one bothers to clean plastic bottles, bags, etc., although there are good hotels nearby.

The most gorgeous beach! One of the best in the Krabi area. We got to it from Ao Nang beach on long tail for 400 baht per person (round trip price). There are cafes and shops on the beach, the beach itself is very clean, the water is clear and warm. Walking 10-15 minutes between the caves with stalactites - and you can get to the even more beautiful beach of Pranang cave beach. In general, we really liked it! Be sure to visit these two places if you are in Krabi!

We rented a longtail and Reilly was the last stop of our trip to the islands of Krabi. A cozy bay, no waves at all and very warm water. There are several hotels and a couple of restaurants right next to each other on the beach. As part of the trip, and swimming for an hour is a good option, you probably don't need to go on purpose. Although who cares :)
