It's a good place. The beach is not big, but with boats. You can go to the islands for 1,500 baht. A small fish market with a good assortment. Your purchases are prepared right there in the restaurants.
In principle, the beach is rather technical, but people light up and swim here, even the presence of boats does not bother, rats climb out of the trees at night, in general, Rawai is a cool location, halls, shops, all kinds of cafes, market, top infrastructure,
This beach is only for contemplating the beautiful views, colorful photos and on local boats, the opportunity to arrange trips to other locations, to the islands and of course fishing.🐟
Large length. A busy road passes very close by. A large selection of cafes and restaurants right by the road ... put the bike on, went in to eat and go ahead.🏍️
One day we stopped by in the morning, had a good breakfast, walked along the beach, slept in the distance sitting on a rope swing, and as we were about to drive on, I noticed an almost empty tank in a rented bike. 👉Without difficulty, asking the locals for help with refueling, they refueled a whole bottle prepared for tourists like us quite inexpensively😂

And here we are again!
This time, we were looking for a boat for a trip to the coral island.
I can't say that it became easier to bargain on the cost of a boat, but after an hour we still managed to find young positive Thais who easily agreed to our price! Instead of 2000 baht, for 1500.
And it's not that they were looking for "the last ones". It's about trade! Previously, Thais smiled and continued to bargain. It was like a ritual. But everything is changing, even in Thailand, especially in a tourist destination.🤔
They take you for about three hours, you enjoy the wonderful beaches on the island and when you are almost tired, you return on the same longtail boat back to the place on Rawai.
Believe me, there will be a lot of impressions!
Feel free to try this option of a simple walk to the beauty of a very close island! The journey time takes less than 30 minutes each way.👍
And most importantly, do not forget!☝️
Rawai, a place of excellent prices for seafood!
Landmark pier. The local market starts right there, mostly filled with seafood at a lower price all over Phuket!💪
If you want, you can taste the dishes of your choice right here, if you want to pack everything with you. (and that doesn't make the food any less delicious) And if you want to cook it yourself, it's even cheaper. Walk 20 meters further into the depths of the market and you will see Thai locals and us tourists in the same queue for sea delicacies🙏
The beach has no infrastructure, it is used by locals as a parking lot for boats, from there fishermen start at sea. No one swims, there is a kind of fish market on the beach. It's better to get to another beach.
A beautiful beach, but not suitable for swimming. The whole harbor is full of fishing boats and gear. There are places on the waterfront where you can eat freshly caught fish and seafood. You can also get to the nearest islands by boat.
You can 't swim there , there 's not a single place where you can lie down . Only boats. There is an embankment , the water is beautiful , take a picture and that 's it . There was some kind of banana beach nearby, but it says private territory is closed there. There is a construction site at the end of the beach and the poor live in wooden houses
Not for swimming, but so very beautiful, the location is worthy of everything!!! 10-30 and you are anywhere on the peninsula, I advise you, and four stars for not swimming very much
It's not the best beach in Phuket, but it's clean. Therefore, it is definitely recommended to visit. Of the disadvantages, there are few good cafes with delicious food, it's better to go somewhere else.
It's good to live there. They say it is impossible to swim, but in fact I saw a lot of people swimming, local and farangs and most with children. We didn't swim, it's up to you, the water, of course, is not ideal among boats, but it's not a swamp visually either. As for me, it is quite possible to dive. The calm is absolute even in the low season.
In the middle of Rawai there is a fish market (not the main one, which is in the corner, but a tourist one, with buses with tourists from China), the boatman showed how the market drains some waste into the water through an underground pipe. This is most likely a stormwater drain, not a sewer. However, the beach is long, 500 meters along the shore it should definitely already be clean.
In the evening, it's very beautiful to walk along the beach, especially at low tide, and it's also interesting - a bunch of crabs and all sorts of small marine nonsense.
Plus, a longtail to the nearest Bon island. 800-1200 b. round trip for a boat. Here, as agreed, the standard is 1000. It's very convenient - I left the condo, crossed the road, got into a boat, and ten minutes later I was on an almost perfect beach. By the way, I do not recommend sailing to other locations - swim longer and you can get into the crowds. For example, there are a lot of groups of organized Pakistanis right on Banana Beach.
Rawai itself is generally quiet and calm: 7-11, a dozen and a half cafes, a few makashnits, exchangers and massages. In short, everything is there, but without the crowds and noise-the noise-the stink like in Patong/Carone. At 23:00 everyone is asleep.
With children, if they really need to go to the playroom and the pool with balls)), then there is a Rawai Park nearby.
Probably you can live here on vacation (not for long) even without your own transport, but the presence of it is recommended, because a taxi to Nai harn, for example, 250 baht or so, to Ao yong is already 600.
It's very dirty. A fishing village, atmospheric, but very dirty, a lot of garbage on the beach, in the water. To go for the sake of the fish market with fresh seafood at attractive prices, but there are a lot of tourists and some kind of fuss. Once was enough for me.
The most favorite beach on the island. A relaxing environment. Lots of boats. Foreigners play the game "Petang" (French game). You can see monitor lizards.
I really liked the colorful place, you can rent a boat or a speedboat and walk to the islands yourself, but of course with the captain... On the shore you can buy fresh fish shrimps everything is marine and right there in the cafe your fish products will be prepared for a fee
A great place to sunbathe, lie in the shade, have dinner, admire the low tide and use the map to explore the names of the visible islands. The beach itself is used as a boat tour parking.
Seafood at the highest level!!!! The Sea Gypsy Market . I recommend visiting more than once. Shrimps, lobsters , scallops, sea tongue, squid, fish, oysters, I strongly recommend trying the Whole range!!!!!!
Unfortunately, it is loudly said on this beach that you cannot swim 😔 here is a seaport where all fishermen leave their boats, the smell and rats run around without fear of anything
The beach is a big word, parking for different boats. They don't swim here. Very large tides. The water goes 100 meters from the shore. I walked along the "beach" several times in the morning. It's not very comfortable. I just lived nearby, and there is nowhere else to walk within walking distance. Boats depart from here for various sea excursions.
This is essentially not a beach, but an embankment. Hardly anyone wants to swim there, shallow, dirty water, Thai boats. But the place is extremely beautiful and photogenic. There is a pier. There is a market and a gypsy village behind the pier
As such, Rawai Beach is not really a beach, it is a coastal fishing line, and swimming is not recommended here. Boats depart from here to the islands and on the shore you can profitably arrange a trip
Rawai Beach, the most beautiful beach, located on the opposite side of Potong Beach. The beach is considered a fishing beach, you can not swim there, but we went to hire a boat and go fishing with the fishermen to the sea. We did not find this, but nevertheless we are very pleased with the visit. The most beautiful places for photography, a huge fish market, fresh seafood that can be cooked immediately, the most wonderful pearl bazaar
I bought beautiful things out of greed:Earrings, bracelets, necklace. Then we returned there 2 times, already with a fishing rod there is a beautiful Pier, we went fishing on this pier, a small tuna is caught. I definitely recommend visiting this beach.
The beach is beautiful, but it's not worth swimming. The child was playing in the water, then they saw a film of oil or something else from the boats, in the morning they were already going to the hospital to treat acne((( But, it's beautiful to eat in a cafe at sunset on the beach
I give him 4 points, excellent views of the sea, the islands, from there you can go on boat trips, many cafes and restaurants, a lot of delicious street food!
There are only boats on this beach, you can't swim there, it's dirty. There is a market and food in the evening. You can go to different islands from this beach. The prices are high, you need to bargain. I recommend visiting Rawai on your own. I was interested.
