Of course, there are disadvantages, there are pig people (where they live and eat there and shit), but the locals are very polite and friendly. There are various shops mainly for tourists, but if you explore the city, which will take you about a day, you can find a small supermarket, the market, by the way, is quite large. You can eat in cafes and restaurants, as well as in canteens, of which there are quite a lot on the territory. And if you want to enjoy the good views, then in one of the boarding houses on the coast at a height of 15 floors there is a restaurant (cafe) with access to the terrace, where you can have a delicious meal and see the beauty of Pitsunda. There is also a concert hall in the 10th century temple, where the organ is located, and concerts are given there, so you will not be left without cultural recreation.

The only drawback is that in the grove itself, while walking along the path, you can observe a lot of garbage. But ... this is where the tourists themselves are to blame - after all, you can carry garbage to the house or to the nearest trash can, although they have been reduced and there are very few along the coast, I'm talking about garbage containers.

The beaches of the united resort of PITSUNDA are good, spacious and relatively clean (unless of course after a storm). There are showers, toilets and changing rooms. Under certain conditions, you can take a chaise longue.
In the buildings of the hotel there is a cafe and a quite democratic dining room with a buffet.
Foot traders are not particularly overpowered, as there are enough official trading tents with pleasant prices. With plenty of offers for active recreation and sightseeing points.

Pros: clear sea (sometimes), pine trees, there are sun beds and umbrellas, there are cafes / stalls / fast food, there is entertainment water park / slides / bananas.
Cons: dirty sea (sometimes), sunbeds occupy and leave, food can be poisoned, garbage, devastation, fence and paid entrance, showers are overgrown with greenery.
Conclusions:
I came to the beach in the afternoon - you take off other people's things and take the sunbeds, some even return for things in the evening, and in the heat of the day you lie on the pebbles in the sun, and someone's slippers in the shade on the sunbed.
Eat proven food.
3 stars for this beach. It doesn't pull at 5 in any way, even at 4.. The potential is huge, there is no implementation.
We agree to pay more, but for the fact that there are free sun beds and umbrellas, for normal showers, for normal toilets, for edible food! I needed to work out, I was looking for a playground... It's just terrible... 2 turnstiles from 50 years ago... And a volleyball court, there are no words....

A good beach is not very large pebbles. Clean, clear water, calm sea. You can take a walk in the grove nearby, ride on the Ferris Wheel and on the ship. There is a good cafe nearby.
The only drawback is a dirty public toilet, but this is probably a problem everywhere in Abkhazia, even if there is a paid toilet, and here at least it is free.

There is no better place for children and their parents to relax!!! Eucalyptus, pine trees, palm trees, cypress - this is a wellness air cocktail and the sea is clean like a tear! We have been coming to Pitsunda for 4 years now. Living and recreation conditions are improving every year. New elevators in the buildings, a cinema has been opened, roads are being improved. The staff at the boarding houses is very friendly, polite, friendly, always ready to help with any questions. Many thanks to everyone who makes our vacation comfortable. Of course, it is better to book a ticket in advance (for example, in March), prices do not change, but there may not be places if you want to go without an order. The rest at the Pitsunda boarding house from 10.09 .24 made a good impression. Room in the building "Mayak" with modern amenities, 9th floor. Luda's maid is very friendly, explained everything, cleaned daily. The food corresponds to the price of the voucher. They didn't leave hungry. I will especially mention cafe Rio - good hookahs, cocktails, cafe Veranda - you can eat a good hodgepodge, fish soup with a view of the sea (be sure to try Dioscuria). If you choose between Gagra, Alakhadze and Pitsunda, then definitely Pitsunda! A clean, well-groomed beach, small pebbles and not sand, which is clogged wherever possible. The prices are reasonable. We really liked it. We took a tour with a transfer flight from Yekaterinburg to Sochi. Next time we decided to go by car, because there are more possibilities. It's a little expensive to ride in a taxi. In general, I definitely recommend it.

A great place to relax near the sea. Everything is there. The main thing is that there is a boarding house and the sea nearby. The service at the boarding house is polite, friendly and respectful. However, vacationers do not understand how to behave in public places, namely in a boarding house. They consider that if a boarding house is not repaired, it should be broken up. People consider it a low payment to receive reports with various conditions.
Personally, I got a great vacation. I went to the sea, I got what I wanted. The room is clean, the shower is available, the toilet is always free. The floor is clean and quiet. The food is good three times a day. It was a lot for me, so I ate every other day or once a day. There is a buffet and a lot to choose from without restrictions. If that's not enough, there's a cafe nearby with as many privileges at every step. Pharmacies are fully accessible within walking distance. I didn't take any cash with me at all. Purchases are made by transfer. There is also Sberbank, Tinkoff.
I was vacationing in Amzar. I want to express my huge words of gratitude to the girls on the ricepshone and the maid of the 7th floor, Nonna. A polite, attentive, respectful woman is always available at any time of the day. He will always come to the rescue and find medicines and call a doctor. Wonderful people work there.

Any of the beaches of this Abkhazian town are pleased with the cleanliness of the territories, the clarity of the water in the sea, not a strong polyhedron, the absence of cutting from breakwaters (you are not in a concrete cage, paddock, but have access to a 360-degree view for many kilometers. The sea is clean, warm, but cooler than the Sea of Azov at the same time. The beach is a pebble, compared to the Imeritinsky beaches of Adler, it is shallower. There are showers and changing rooms on the beach. You can hide from the heat under the shade of huge eucalyptus trees and some other large trees. They grow right next to the embankment, where there are many tents with a variety of goods: ice cream, sweet waffles with fruits, sweets, chebureks and more. You can have a snack in cafes. But the embankment in Pitsunda and the embankment in Adler are not the same thing. The level differs significantly. But if the main thing for you is the sea and fewer people, it is not critical to have a super service, then you are here. I can't say anything about housing, since we came to Pitsunda to swim from Adler, because we wanted peace, clean sea and fewer people. Taxi to the border - 500 rubles, minibus from the border to Pitsunda - 250 rubles. per person (it takes about a little more than an hour to drive, depending on the driver's speed). We did not know that local time differs from Moscow time: in Abkhazia it is 1 hour ahead. The last minibus from Pitsunda is at about 18.30 local time. It all depends on whether the driver gets a certain number of passengers to the border. Many vacationers from other places of Abkhazia come to Pitsunda beach.
