Had the good fortune to rest in Nubian Village in early October 2023. The hotel met us WITH EXTORTION OF MONEY UPON CHECK-IN. Like they prepared the best room for us. We settled in with a fight, after 12 hours of the road, so-so exercise. I am surprised by the positive reviews about this place. Do people just calmly give their blood money when settling in ? The first waiter in the lobby immediately began to beg for chocolate. Further - more. At breakfast, a serious bald man, clearly the leader of the group), obsessively pestered with a request to change dollars. Then I repeated my visits several times. It became clear that here they have this national sport of extortion. Next on the list. hotel. Clean, rooms in the main building after renovation, large with a huge balcony. Only it is not clear why the window to the bathroom and toilet. The peasant cleaned, well done, qualitatively. And he did not forget to leave elephants, crocodiles, etc. nutrition. To be honest, we expected more. Don't look for meat for breakfast, there are pink sausages and inedible sausages. From a decent one -when you cook an egg or an omelet with selected ingredients. In the morning, the waiters also show their skills and can calmly get in front of the queue and slowly pour 2-3 cups of coffee for Italians. Here they are kings. Lunch was once delayed for half an hour, everyone was expecting a group of Italian business men. Before their arrival, they were not allowed to touch the peddlers! And the next morning, lo and behold, we listened to a live guitar. At such a volume that it was difficult to speak. Everything just works here: the louder, the more fun. The same principle applies at the far pool with screaming music. The meat was edible only chicken, a couple of times the grill was taught to chew. Pasta for Italians turned out well. WAITERS. They require a separate chapter. They will pay attention to you only if you pay. As it is, you are an empty place for them. No one will ever come up. They will stand further away and discuss their important issues. You can say hello, smile, wave your hand - it's useless. They will come on the first day, they did not give money, they are free, they do not notice you. I watched once, there was a bunch of as many as 5 people, but they don't even raise an eyebrow at the Russians. They were all waiting for the Italians. As soon as they see, they run to the meeting, and they will sing and dance, and they will get any drinks. In the lobby bar, by the way, there would be normal guys. But this seems to be an exception to the rule. SEA AND BEACH. Upset. There is a small coral-free pool, chest-deep in the morning, knee-deep in the evening. People come in and just stand still, communicate, so to speak, in the water. There is a pier, actually for three hotels, up to 16h usually there is a red flag (wind and waves), there are two stairs to the sea on it. To think about going into the sea one at a time and going out the other, it's probably very difficult. People are jostling on each, trying to get in and out of the waves. It is clear that elderly people hang out and a stampede begins. It's not very pleasant when with children. Some people put on/take off their fins while sitting on the stairs. HP also adds space. There are a lot of local rescuers, but they don't pay attention to it, they mostly whistle, like at football, if someone swam the wrong way. Unless only yellow cards are not shown. They don't notice what's going on under their noses. By the pool in general, the whistling is continuous. On the beach, be ready to fight off eccourses, massages, spas and other evil spirits. Endurance is important here. Drinks, fruits and ice cream are served to Italians, swallow saliva. And so by ourselves - up to the bar. There's trouble with ice cream, it always ends or you have to wait 5-10 minutes. There are always sun beds on the sea, but from the second line. The first row is already occupied by our beloved Italians. They are booked by security guards, as you guessed, for a separate reward. An uncle in a red shirt helps them. Everything is in action. resume. Of the advantages, perhaps, only the number of rooms and the territory. The food is ordinary, there was no invasion of fish products (in fact, one type of fish in fried and steamed form, once there were cotton shrimp)... But if you want to feel like second-class people, you are here. It's not worth putting up with it even for the sake of the sea. The sea seems to be there, but in fact it is not. Bravo animation is sharpened again for Italians. They don't notice you. Think about it, you need such a service for your own money. Decide for yourself. I don't recommend it. PS. After reading other reviews and even rare responses from the hotel, I realized that nothing would be changed here. This is the local mentality. You can't fix it.

It will do, but the bathroom is sad. Plus, the presence of a terrace and minimal contact with neighbors - I never saw or heard them. It's important to me. Upon arrival, the administrator asked for a tip to put us in a good room - I refused, he did not stop there and the next day said that he put us in a good room ...🗿 Room cleaning for 3. The sheets were once laid in such pellets that they even began to make me nervous, they were so gigantic) Apparently it was revenge for the fact that we don't leave tips. In general, everything is like that here. In the lobby, the waiters serve only those who tip, if not, you go to the bar yourself and ask for drinks, you carry them to your table yourself. There is a reef in the sea, to protect your feet, take aquashouses (corals) with you. I liked the sea, it was beautiful and clean. And you just need to go into the sea slowly, carefully. The buffet is excellent, the food is excellent. But again, if the waiters don't bother to bring drinks, then they will approach you less often. The package includes alcohol. And if draft beer and wine can be safely drunk in principle, then I do not recommend taking free cocktails. They add alcohol from the local company pharaoh, from which many people spend the next day, sorry, near the toilet. If you ask to add imported good alcohol, they will put up a price tag of $ 18-20 for 1 cocktail. Beyond the territory, across the street, a little further away, there are shops. Heineken bottled beer is sold there for $ 2, in the hotel it is the same beer for $ 4. There is also imported alcohol, such as Jack Daniels and much more, but it immediately shows that it is a fierce stick. If you like to drink high-quality alcohol and want to save money, buy yourself a couple of bottles of your favorite drink at Duty Free. Animation. This point has become the most exciting. There are a lot of Russian-speaking guests living in this hotel, but the hotel decided to turn a blind eye to this. Absolutely all animation is in Italian!! It was cool on our dates and we were basking in the heated pool near the beach. There, in the afternoon, the animator broadcasts something in Italian for several hours in a row before lunch. He chatters incessantly, very fast and loud. It gets boring on day 4, on day 7 it just frankly pisses me off!!! Since the attitude of the staff towards Italians, for their endless tips, is dramatically better than towards Russian speakers, this discrimination simply begins to catch the eye and spoil the mood. If animation is important to you, then check into the nearby Nubian Island Hotel. On the last day of our vacation, we were casually informed that the Russian animation was there, other guests reported it... not the staff… But even if you stay at this hotel, you will be able to use the neighboring territory and animation. It just won't be very convenient to go there, it's easier to live there right away.
