A nice beach where you can swim. There is a wave, but it is relatively pleasant to swing on it. There are many services along the entire beach - bars, restaurants, sun beds and rentals. There is a shade for placing with a towel. On the left side there is a photogenic island with the opportunity to wade, but take shoes or endure sharp pebbles on the paths on the island.
It's nice to walk all over the beach, the sand is dense.
Beautiful sunsets, but even to the left behind the island is a cape where sunset pilgrims from all over the island gather. Many with beer, but do not leave garbage behind, do not be like the Lankans and the inhabitants of the jungle.

An ideal place to relax, high waves, clean beach, delicious coconuts) we saw a huge turtle on the shore, there is a paradise beach club hotel nearby, we took sun beds from them for the whole day, very convenient. The price includes access to the pool, towels and mattresses) by the end of the rest, they were already like their own, very friendly people and a picturesque place.

I really liked the beach. Nice sandy strip, the beach is clean. There are no changing booths there, but they are not needed, people from hotels come there. The ocean is calm in this place, you can swim well, but there are no vehicles on the water, which is doubly pleasant. Nearby there are restaurants on the sand and shops with fresh fish, music. At the end of the beach is a place where small turtles are released into the ocean according to the schedule.

A beautiful beach, well suited for surfing. They ride on boards here almost every day, the shore is without sharp slopes, drops in depth. A huge number of restaurants on the beach, a good choice. True, when I was in October I didn't find any crabs, but that's okay. It started raining in early November. I haven't tried swimming with a mask. Only tourists swim in the ocean, for locals it is commonplace, which does not bring them pleasure. If you walk along the shore at sunset, you can see how turtles are saved from seagulls and cormorants. I lived exclusively on the banks of Mirissa for two weeks, I highly recommend it. I didn't like the other beaches.

The entrance to the water is gentle, without sudden fluctuations. The waves are big.
In the water, in close proximity to the beach, there is a small rocky island. Every tourist considers it his duty to visit there) Knee-deep in water, you have to walk about 30 meters. Then there are steps and a bridge. In the evening, at sunset, a queue gathers to go upstairs. The view from above is amazing. The pictures are beautiful.
Overall, the impressions are positive!

The sand is very fine, like powder, and very dense in the water, the feet do not get stuck and do not fall through. Sun beds can be purchased. There are small cafes, surfing centers along the coast, and they sell coconuts. At the end of March, the waves were not big, the ocean was very warm. There is a place near the end of the beach where you can find a natural "bathroom" where the wave does not enter, because it breaks on the rocks that surround it. The beach is great, be sure to visit Mirissa.
