The beach is very spacious and clean. There is a changing booth. You can rent a sun lounger for GEL 5 for the whole day, an umbrella. The pebbles are large, it is difficult to walk barefoot and especially to get out of the sea, it is better to have special shoes, they can be purchased from local merchants.

Kvariati beach is clean , with large pebbles. There are no large skyscrapers!!! They often go on , but they end quickly. There are decent, clean cafes with good food. Sapboards, catamarans, umbrellas and sun beds are available for rent.
Cons: there are few showers and they are paid, there are no changing rooms and toilets (only in cafes nearby).

The place is good, the cleanest sea in Adjara is on it. But there is a minus, unofficial paid Parking, you arrive, you park almost on the side of the road, there is no one. When you come back, there is some elderly Georgian in a greasy vest and claims that there is paid parking here))) I found out from the taxi drivers, they said it was just loafers making money that way and not only on this beach. In fact, everything is free there.

At the end of September 2024, we lived in Batumi, but went swimming in Kvariati twice. We got there and back by Yandex taxi, the price of a 1-way trip is about 11-12 GEL.
Compared to Batumi, the water in Kvariati is very clean, it was not crowded, you can rent an umbrella and a chaise longue. There is a cafe, a grocery store.
There is a Gonio area in front of Kvariati, Gonio-Apsaros fortress is located there, the Romans built it, I highly recommend it to history lovers.

And all the dirt ended up in the sea, mullets devoured all this garbage in huge flocks. That's why I didn't even want to go into the water. We decided to visit this beach to replace another beach in Batumi. Here we liked the descent and the beautiful scenery. We got there by taxi, a 15-minute drive from the airport without traffic jams.
