After the beaches of Pitsunda, Ldzaa and Gagra, I was not impressed by the word at all. And taking into account the recent thunderstorms and heavy rains, the sea was like jelly, I didn't even want to go into it. For me, Sukhum is not a place to enjoy a beach holiday. The beach itself is dirty and the sea is the same in this place. This is a subjective opinion, maybe you were unlucky with the weather and time.

Among the disadvantages are the lack of toilets and a not very pleasant road to the beach through thickets and railway tracks.

A sandy beach, according to this criterion, the choice was made in favor of it. In fact, there were waves for all 5 days, they did not enter the sea. Before that, we lived for 5 days on the beach of the fish factory in Pitsunda, the sky and the earth, the sea is much calmer. Kelasur beach is cool in the sense that there are no people at all, but I wouldn't come back here because of the waves :)
