The beach is 5-7 minutes from the Grand Hotel Russia , this is definitely a plus for those who rest at the hotel Russia or in the nearby Golden Anchor 2 minutes from it. While you are walking, you will be accompanied by huge dogs along the way, and I saw fighting breeds among them, I want to note their number and size of dogs... there are a lot of them and they are all very big and I can say that they are very intrusive . The beach area is closed with a fence and there is a gate , it closes , but this is not a problem for dogs, they will not leave you without their attention here either ... they will lie on the pebbles with you everywhere on this beach , immediately relieve themselves on it , bark , run between you ...

, there are sun beds (for a fee), umbrellas (for a fee), you can rent saps, there are sunshades (for free), massage (for a fee), there are showers and several of them (more than 3), there are specially equipped places where you can wash your feet. The entrance to the sea is painful because of the pebbles, be sure to take special slippers. There are small cafes on the territory, I want to mention the canteen "surf" they cook delicious, it's definitely worth going there, the price is very inexpensive there, but I can't help but return to the topic of dogs again, when you are in the canteen "Surf" you will be surrounded by a pack of dogs, here they are as intrusive as possible, they don't just sit and ask I'm eating, they just put their paws on the table and can bark and growl if they don't like you.The robotniks of the canteen are trying to drive them away from the sols, but very sluggishly. The beach is generally not bad, but I give 2 stars solely due to the presence of a large number of dogs!!! I also can't help but note the behavior of the locals. You will catch disdainful glances at yourself, and you can also make absolutely any remark that you are behaving culturally and just being on the beach. Don't be surprised that I can come up to you and rudely say, "Hey, get dressed." Provided that we were in ordinary beach clothes, without any explicit features. If you suddenly decide to stay on the beach longer, watch the sunset, the evening sea, be prepared for the fact that it is unsafe because of the dogs and the local population. I advise you to leave the beach at 8 pm.

While vacationing in Gudauta, I visited this beach. The beach is not bad, but there is something to work on. There should be lifeguards on a good beach, there should be a good toilet, changing rooms and, most importantly, there should be safety. The descent into the water is quite steep, the stones spread out under your feet and when the waves are strong, it is problematic to get out of the water without tension (I swam in special shoes). And, probably, for inexperienced vacationers, it is necessary to prohibit swimming in strong waves (in order to avoid accidents) . In some countries, black flags are simply placed in front of the water, which means that swimming is prohibited. But in general, everything is fine)) I sent wonderful photos from the sea and from the beach together to my friends.

Everything seems to be fine, but... There is garbage everywhere, you will not find an urn, the grass is not mowed... It reminds me of Crimea about 10-12 years ago. But the prices are like in the best resorts in the world. Put things in order, as in Gagra, and tourists will reach out. There are no complaints about cows and dogs, but the ever-lying trash on the coast is not exciting.

The beach from the Max hotel, there is also a KeytPark. By the standards of the city, it is a great place, only small in area. There is Wi-Fi on the beach , a good approach, not immediately deep, 10 meters. We bought ice cream in the evening and ate on the beach, better than the neighboring one from Russia.

The beach is 4.5 out of 5! This is a high mark for me, I am very picky. The beach is wide, the pebbles are medium-large, the entrance to the water is not comfortable because of the stones. There are buoys, which is very convenient, all sorts of activities with gasoline and diesel fuel simply cannot drive up to the beach. There are free shade canopies, a shower, a bucket shower, a good toilet, benches,a good cafe, delicious coffee, hot cold, baked goods were not taken. A dining room with reasonable prices and a good assortment, a cafe with burgers, pizza and potatoes. We took only potatoes, not McDuck, of course, it will go for a snack. There are sun beds-200₽ and umbrellas-300₽. Milking is cleaned daily, there are a lot of garbage cans, changing cabins. There is a diving tower right in the sea, a favorite place for young people. There is a sap rental service. There are not many people, they arrive by the weekend, of course, but not fatally, there is enough space for everyone. The numb calm at sea was seen only in the mornings until 9.00-9.30, then there is a slight ripple, after lunch small waves subside in the evening. And so it is every day. There are a lot of dogs, but it's everywhere in Abkhazia, thanks for not cows. There is a shady park nearby, many people relax on the grass under the trees. The sea is clear, there were jellyfish in August, But very few, dolphins are also rare. I was going after dolphins, but alas, Gagra was after this miracle.
