We were passing from Vitebsk to Brest, they will plunge the most - the water is clean, the sand is clean, we were on Monday at 15 o'clock, so we counted about three people)))) I was also surprised that a special person went and collected garbage. Katashi Lake is love at first sight/arrival. Beach, lake, forest..... I really like everything here. We stayed with tents for a week and never regretted that we chose this particular lake. This is a place where you want to come back again and again.

The sand and the sun are just super! The wind during the day and even a downpour at night could not spoil our mood and impression of such beauties! You can drive around the entire lake to find a suitable place to relax. You can camp with a tent, both near the beaches and along the entire coast in the forest. There are dumpsters, but no proper toilets. We will definitely come back here again!

The lake was advised by the staff at the reception at the hotel. They described it as the Belarusian Maldives. I came and made sure that they didn't lie. Clean, white sand, clear clear water. This is the best place in Belarus, but unfortunately the water in August 2023 was terribly dark and dirty. Or just bloomed or tryndets lake. Since 2018, it has always been clean and transparent in different periods. The sand is white, I have not seen this anywhere in Belarus. But still, this place will be my favorite.

It's a great place. fine sand, clear water, pleasant terrain leave all the reservoirs in the area out of competition. There are changing rooms and toilets in two places on the lake. One location on the lake is fenced with buoys and is under the close supervision of rescuers, in this location I recommend swimming to those people who are on "you" with water because in this location it is quite shallow and because of this it is much more comfortable for not quite experienced swimmers).
There are many wonderful places around the lake where you can put up tents and set up camp for a comfortable overnight stay, a lot of people do this on weekends and at night there are sometimes night discos near the lake))))
I recommend Katashi Lake for a must-visit, regardless of the reasons for visiting the city of Brest and the surrounding area.

We were there a month ago, but the impressions are still terrible. Everything was ruined by the terribly loud screaming music from the speaker standing on the mountain. The most interesting thing is that everyone was silent, i.e. in my opinion, all the locals know this person and no one is trying to argue. The music was blaring all night. On weekends, even on Sunday, there were a lot of people, even traffic jams from cars. There are no toilets. The water is clean, the ducks are swimming.The entrance to the water from the shore is good, from the sides of the lake through the reeds. We're not going there anymore.
