A comfortable beach near the school.A minimum of people. Relatively clean. There was a shop nearby where you can buy coffee, ice cream, water, as well as rent a sub, sun beds. However, there is only one sub,))Well, it's better than nothing at all. And the most important thing (at least for me) is that there are no sewage drains, I think there are none / almost none. There have been 0 poisonings in two years.

This review is more about Ochamchira itself and the embankment. The city is more a port than a resort. We visited the embankment, drove through all the central streets, and looked at the city market.
We spent most of our time on the waterfront. The promenade is not very long, but well maintained. There are few famous umbrellas left. The beach on the embankment is sandy, the sand is dark, closer to black.

Positive : there are no people at all, even at the height of the season. The entrance to the sea is quite convenient, the beach is sandy. The sea is cloudy, but clear. The sunbed is 100 rubles, at 250 in Sukhum and 300-350 in Pitsunda.
Cons: there are no umbrellas, except for a couple with dried palm leaves that do not protect from the sun. Dogs and COWS roam the beach

Finally, the embankment in Ochamchire has begun to be put in order! Well done! Now you can walk along the embankment, and not go around by another road. We plow there twice a year, in winter and in summer. On the beach itself, the wood debris was cleared only where the sunbeds were placed. And where there is a pebble beach. We did not use them, but there is an inscription that they are paid (200 rubles per hour). After the storm, they collect garbage and burn it right on the beaches, there is a hellish smell of burning, which is the most terrible thing. Ochamchire has sparsely populated beaches, the water is clean if the weather does not let you down. There is no entertainment in the evening, people who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city can relax. I really hope that they will not stop and will continue to restore the embankment and the city.

I put one asterisk.... The guys are trying very hard. Even the tractor was cleaned once, but unfortunately the efforts are insufficient. The mud on the beach and around is impassable. There is not a single urn. There are no toilets, but there are paid sun beds, showers (as it is written on the wall with paint)... For VERY unpretentious tourists. And guys! It's good to set fire to garbage on the beach - in addition to dirt, there is also a stink!
