Four for the fact that there are practically no "changing rooms" and very rarely where a shower is installed. The beach is clean enough, a sunbed costs GEL 5 per day. The water was more clean, transparent only 3 or 4 times, it was in 6 weeks in Batumi. The beauty and cleanliness of the park along the embankment more than compensates for all the negativity.
The sea is beautiful. The beach is not equipped. There are not even changing rooms. For a city like Batumi, this is just some kind of misunderstanding.
The most ordinary Black Sea beach. We were in May 2019. The sea is dirty, floating waste from the sewer has been noticed. Completely pebbly. The pebbles are as big as in Sochi. I don't like pebbles, I prefer sand. The only place where you have seen the clear sea in Batumi and where you can swim is the beaches near the botanical garden.
