We had a rest with my wife in 2019, we really liked everything, the staff is friendly, the rooms are excellent, the cleaning is on time and high quality, the food is not Michelin, but quite varied, the bar is on the level, the beach is huge, there are plenty of places, to put it mildly. The excursions are quite diverse, from informative to entertaining.

We had a rest in December 2018 and all this time we want to return, but one thing or another does not allow us to do it. We hope that we will get there in the near future, although the duration of the flight is frightening and there is no direct flight from Samara.
In 2018, we also flew from Moscow, 12 hours.
I don't remember how long we drove from the airport, but we arrived early in the morning, we were immediately greeted, given cocktails, then checked into the room. As experienced travelers, we immediately checked all the equipment for operability, realized that the toilet and shower did not work. At the reception, we agreed in English to change the room. Everything was done quickly. In general, reading the comments, I marvel at the flight of imagination of some people. Okay, who didn't like the food, the beach, the service, but ignorance of their native language, it's a lot, comrades... I mean, why should anyone in the Dominican Republic know Russian?! (well, except for the representative of the travel agency..) I guess these people stupidly have not been anywhere further than Turkey before, it has spoiled them so powerfully: they speak all languages there, as long as the tourist is satisfied. Everyone at the hotel understood English. Ask for a bottle of water, a fork, a spoon; ask where this or that is, how to get there. These are elementary dialogues consisting of simple words. After all, there is a translator! But to write in a review that the hotel is bad, because suddenly no one knows Russian in the Caribbean, this is a clinic.
The food was excellent, they were always overeating, although they did not plan to.
I'm not into alcohol, I only took juices and water at the bar. The husband drank everything that was on the alcoholic menu, did not get poisoned. Everything is normal 👌🏻
They rarely went to the beach, mostly lay by the pools. Everything was clean, everything was cleaned and looked after.
We took 2 excursions from a separate guide. One to the island on a yacht: champagne, beautiful views, waves. I remember that I liked it.
There was another one in the city of Puerto Plata: a cable car and an observation deck with a statue of an analogue of Christ, as in Rio de Janeiro.
In general, we were quite satisfied with the rest. It's a pity there's not enough time. After such a road: Samara-Nizhny Novgorod-Moscow- Punto-Cana... we were just leaving for 2 days. And the tour was only 11 days then (I don't know how it is now) The same plane brings some, takes others with the same train.

We had a rest in 2021, we still remember!How delicious the food was in this hotel, what a variety of ripe fruits!Cool rooms, palm trees on the beach instead of umbrellas!We remember with warmth and would like to come again!
