**"An Unforgettable Experience!"**
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like VIPs with their warm and welcoming service. Every detail was attended to with care, and the atmosphere was both relaxing and inviting.
The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. You can tell that the chefs take pride in their work, as every bite felt like a celebration of taste and quality.
And the hookah? Simply outstanding! The flavors were rich, smooth, and crafted to perfection, making it the best hookah I’ve had in a long time. If you are looking for a spot to enjoy some time with friends, amazing food, and a fantastic hookah experience, this is the place to be. I will definitely be returning!
Faru the best!
Lady by the door is rude and has no idea how to talk to customers
Staff ok - food is average
Most importantly when payment comes Platan staff charges in USD dollars rather then uzb sums
Be careful
Highly recommended this place, amazing food, from their farm, excellent service, and the the interior is designed very well. A historical place with history.
European cuisine restaurant in Samarkand. The cuisine is good, the vegetables and greens in the salads are fresh and delicious. There is an interesting dessert on the menu, baked cherries with ice cream, I recommend you try it. Delicious.
The service is good, the waiters are trying hard, running around the guests.
In the evening there is live music, a kind uncle on the saxophone. There are a lot of tourists in the restaurant. The aftertaste remained pleasant. Thanks to the restaurant for a quality dinner in Samarkand!
A very good restaurant. The best among those where we were in Samarkand in 5 days. You can take any dish safely, everything will be very tasty. We tried to take lamb and local dishes. Lamb in a pot and in foil is just fire. The portions are large. The restaurant itself is located in the city center, we always came to it on foot, fortunately it is warm and cozy in Samarkand even in December 🙂
The food is delicious, the serving is beautiful, the service is excellent, the waiters are all on hand. We didn't wait for the dishes for a long time, literally 10-15 minutes. The atmosphere is pleasant, the hall is decorated with Uzbek folk motifs, unobtrusive soft music sounds. A cafe in an ensemble with the hotel of the same name. If you are a guest, you enter the restaurant through a small atmospheric courtyard.
The Platan restaurant in Samarkand left a pleasant impression. The interior is stylish, with a national flavor, which immediately adjusts to the right mood. The food was delicious — the kebab was juicy, and the salads were fresh, although the portions could have been slightly larger. The service is pretty good, the waiters are polite, but sometimes a little slow. The prices are slightly above average, but generally match the quality. A good place for dinner.
Insanely delicious!!!
Every dish is amazing. We went through the reviews and did not lose. The restaurant fully meets each rating perfectly.
I especially liked manti and Sycamore salad.
I am ready to plan a trip to Samarkand in the future to once again taste the impeccable dishes from this divinely delicious institution!
The food is very tasty, we took several options of meat, soups, salads and everything was very decent! The atmosphere was pleasant, the music was soft and pleasant, the staff worked carefully and clearly. In general, I definitely recommend it.
I highly recommend a visit. Very cozy, delicious, friendly.
the location is a bit inconvenient, but it is compensated by everything that is indicated above.
The price tag may be slightly above average, but a good one shouldn't be worth it.
A very nice, clean restaurant with courteous staff and, most importantly, delicious food.
The prices are above the average in the city, but for us, as Muscovites, it still came out to be a ridiculous amount.
If we fly to Samarkand again, we will definitely come back!🤌🏻
A modern, stylish and cozy restaurant with very tasty cuisine. Mostly European, but there are also local dishes.
The staff is wonderfully trained.
The atmosphere is very conducive to returning there again.
Large outdoor area with tables. Outside, there is a cool fog over all the tables, which is refreshing. The order was delivered quickly enough, despite the fact that there were 11 of us and everything was ordered unevenly.
Being in Samarkand for the first time, we came to this restaurant by chance. And we were pleasantly surprised! Very interesting interior, friendly and professional waiters. Very tasty dishes and wonderful local draft beer. I would like to return to such a restaurant! We recommend it!!!!!
The restaurant, if compared with others, is good. We were served by a very polite young man. There was a very tasty warm tortilla, which we almost ate while waiting for the order. Borscht for four (but why order borscht in Samarkand? 🙄 ), manta rays are also for four ( although here one manta ray stands as in other places a portion ) . Special thanks to the male musician. Pleasant unobtrusive music on the piano and pipe . The room is comfortable and warm , we were sitting on sofas .
This place is recommended by local hoteliers, there are reviews and recommendations of what to visit in Samarkand. But the place is disappointing. The lack of sincerity, a sense of hospitality - it simply does not exist. By the way, many people write about this in previous reviews. We also faced this. In Uzbekistan, you expect hospitality, and when you do not meet it in a place that everyone recommends, you are disappointed.
Interesting menu. Relatively tasty. I didn't like everything, but it's more like an amateur. (Although I didn't like which pieces were chosen for the loin, and how they were cooked). But the salads were delicious.
The price tag for Uzbekistan seemed expensive to me - a la Moskovsky +-.
They charge a service fee of 15% - it is written about this. But you will not get Service for your money:
- long wait
- the guys will not tell you what to choose, they will not be interested. In short, waiters need to be TRAINED! especially in such an institution. Toilet 🙈🙈🙈 put a normal toilet bowl already and make repairs there.
Whether you like it or not, you can be called the face of Samarkand. And by working like you, you are defaming the name of your city.
A wonderful place where we tourists had breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a European breakfast menu and decent national cuisine. Polite staff. Everywhere in the establishments of Uzbekistan there is a receipt for + 15% for service. So in this place, it's absolutely not a pity to pay for it!
Dachshund, in the evening, on the outdoor area, racks with fire create a unique atmosphere, it is difficult to find fault with the kitchen)) but you don't need to, everything is delicious. I will not say that the portions are impressive, but in my own opinion) I recommend you to visit
Platan Restaurant is a place where gastronomy turns into art. It serves not just food, but dishes prepared with soul and attention to detail. The menu is based on fresh farm products, and each dish is a harmony of taste and quality.
I was particularly impressed with the seasonal salads, amazing meat and fish dishes, as well as great desserts. Everything is served with exquisite serving, and the service is top–notch. The atmosphere of comfort and elegance makes Platan an ideal place for both a romantic dinner and a meeting with friends.
If you are in Samarkand and appreciate high–quality cuisine, this restaurant is a must!
In my opinion, the best place in Samarkand, at least of the visited ones. All the dishes are amazingly delicious, we came here several times to try something else. Always fresh desserts, live music, pleasant interior and excellent service. Tuna, borax and mutton are admirable.
The restaurant looks pretentious and stylish. The menu consists mainly of European cuisine. The quality of the dishes is not bad. But. As they say in many reviews, the service is slow. If you come alone or together, be prepared that preference will be given to tables where there are more guests. This is logical, because it is more profitable for the waiters. Especially, the interest fades closer to the closing of the check: we had to ask three times to pay attention to us. They asked for boiling water in tea - they answered something in Uzbek, took the kettle away... we didn't see it anymore)
They asked for some of the food with them - they brought containers without a lid. This is the first time I've seen this.
The prices are average-above average, depending on the set of dishes.
Service fee 15%
Overall, a good restaurant, but overrated. Your visit experience will directly depend on how quickly and efficiently you will be served.
Everything is delicious here. We arrived at 21:00. The kitchen is not closed yet. Delicious Greek salad, cheesecake, excellent draft beer. The waiter Lochin was friendly and did everything to make us have a good time. Thank you
Super restaurant in Samarkand. The menu is very varied and all the dishes are delicious, super fresh. Buratta is no worse than in an Italian restaurant.
Be sure to try the cheesecake.
Delicious food, varied cuisine, helpful and courteous staff. In general, I got a good impression of the service, the atmosphere in the community and the delicious food. I recommend.
A beautiful place with unique architecture, with very tasty cuisine, choose any dish - you will like everything.
Good service, Timur told me everything, advised me, fast service.
We are waiting for dessert😁 chocolate sycamore was recommended
Very quiet, atmospheric
A very good restaurant. We were with the family on the recommendation of a local resident - our friend. Helpful staff, high-quality and very tasty cuisine. Live music in the evening.
The kitchen was very tasty, the dishes were excellent, the service was on the level, the atmosphere was cozy, we were sitting there with some friends, such a beautiful girl came there, it's a pity that she was 16 years old, although she looks 22
We were at the restaurant on 04/25/2024. The entourage and atmosphere of the restaurant are pleasing, quite authentic. As for the menu, it's unexpected to see such a small range of national dishes in a restaurant of this level, well, okay. A bad review is not because of the price, which is well overstated and not in the quality of the dishes. The biggest claim to the service. Not only is the price tag expensive, but the bill necessarily includes a service fee of 15%.
What's wrong with the service:
The white tablecloth was stained with unarmed eyes, but the staff did not even think to correct the situation.
Next, we ordered two soups and two hot dishes and from the beginning I took out one guest's hot dish, and the soup had to wait. I think for a 15% tip, the service should be of higher quality
Of those restaurants in Samarkand that we visited in Samarkand, this one claims to be the best.
Very good cuisine, with reasonable prices
Nice interior
A fairly large area, tables are not side by side - optimal for a decent (in size) company
Probably one of the best restaurants in Samarkand. The kitchen is excellent, I especially liked the salad with crispy eggplant, it was served quite quickly when fully planted. The staff is friendly and helpful. My wife had a birthday, they congratulated her with music, dessert as a gift, then the musician also played a song for his wife personally. In general, this is a great place, I recommend it to everyone who will be in Samarkand
A wonderful inexpensive restaurant of European cuisine. Very fast service. There are also national specialties, although their range here is not too wide.
Mixed feelings:
- dishes of mainly European cuisine,
- the food is delicious, but expensive,
- there are no identical glasses for beer,
- there is live music, but the musician does not get into the notes.
There is a premium application, but it falls short.
Here is a great review of the restaurant:
---
I recently visited the Platan restaurant in Samarkand for dinner, and was very pleased! Despite the fact that I had not booked a table, the staff kindly found a cozy place for my family. We were very pleased with the service – the polite and attentive staff made our evening pleasant.
The food is top notch! I especially want to mention the salads – they are incomparable. The whole kitchen was incredibly delicious and of high quality. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy great food and service in Samarkand.

I hope this is the review you were looking for!
Perhaps the best restaurant in Samarkand!
The service, services, and dishes are always excellent. I have been familiar with the restaurant for more than 10 years and I visit it for dinner every time I visit Samarkand. I recommend it!
One of the best restaurants I've ever visited, it would be nice if the prices were a little lower, but I really like the atmosphere, staff and cuisine.
Kutaisi-style meat is right in the heart , there is nowhere better ✨
We were in Samarkand for 2 days, naturally, according to the reviews, we decided to visit this institution. The first time we came on Thursday without reservation at 17.30, there were places on the street, and two tables were free inside, we sat inside. We were served by a wonderful waiter Timur, who told us about all the dishes that interested us, told us about the wines. The portions were quite large, the husband, even after the salad with crispy eggplant, barely finished his bon steak from the oven. Everything is so delicious that it cannot be expressed in words, it must be tried. For two (arugula salad with tuna, eggplant salad, bon steak, cauldron kabob, wine, tea) the check came out at $ 35, if compared with Minsk (Belarus), then they would have given $ 50 for such a dinner. I would also like to mention the fast and friendly service. The next day we went there for dinner, too, but unfortunately there were no places, and out of childish naivety we decided that like yesterday we would be lucky, but... I had to go to another place.
