We spent one night at the hotel, the building is beautiful, there is a cozy courtyard that leads to the restaurant. The rooms are clean, beautiful, good-quality furniture, a wide bed. We left early for the train, and we had breakfast boxes packed with us, for which we are especially grateful. We ate on the train, very tasty samsa and a roll with cottage cheese.

Very decent hotel, clean, comfortable mattresses and pillows, carefully cleaned, tea assortment, coffee machine in the room.
We had a broken kettle, they brought us tea from the restaurant for free.
Small disadvantages in the room: attic floor, window upstairs, little light for reading and embroidery, not enough to look out the window. The curtain on this window is not firmly attached, it can fall on the heads of people who sleep on the bed under this window. In the evenings, music comes from the restaurant.
In general, it's a very decent option, but you have to walk to Registan Square for 10 minutes, it's convenient if you want to walk. It takes 20-25 minutes to walk to the old market or Bibi Khanum from the hotel.
The staff is very friendly, helpful, the guys are trying.

Lived in October 2023. I liked the hotel. I didn't regret my choice. I liked it in Samarkand. The price is reasonable, the quality of the room itself, equipment and comfort in the room completely satisfied. The reception liked the copies of the frescoes. It is simple and adjusts to the history of the city and region. Accommodation and a great restaurant at the hotel is a great bundle. Coffee machine, safe, slippers, tea, TV, coffee, shampoos, bathrobe, towels, refrigerator, air conditioning, large bed, decent linen, patio, etc. - there is everything you need. The staff solves the problems that have arisen with dignity. My friends, at their request, were moved to another room. There are rooms of different comfort, the territory and area of the hotel are decent. The staff is polite, attentive, always say hello, smile. The room is clean, tidying up regularly. Food can be brought to the room. A decent breakfast in the morning.
The area is quiet. Although I was picked up on excursions, but in piincip it is not very far to some historical monuments, you can walk if you are able to walk from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
The result: a great mood and a wonderful vacation!

What I liked is the restaurant of the same name and the hotel are located nearby, but the entrance is from different sides. The restoron is good, the food is delicious. The hotel is clean, the bed is of medium hardness, everything is available in the bathroom. I did not like the hum that does not subside, but I was on the third (last) floor and the end, perhaps there is no hum in other rooms.

The restaurant is great for Samarkand. Clean, cozy, beautiful interiors, pleasant waiters. The food is delicious. In the evening, it is better to book a table in advance.we visited three times in a week: for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant is full in the evening. There are many different types of alcohol, B52 was available. Smoking and non-smoking rooms. And yes, 15% service is included in the receipt, but the receipt says that tips are optional, at your discretion.

Hello, people. We stayed in Tashkent, a nice nice well-groomed city)) and for a day we took a high-speed taxi to Samarkand. We walked around the city until we were exhausted and went to have dinner at the Sycamore Tree.... We were fed so well that I know for sure that next time I will go to Samarkand for two or three days and will live and eat in Planan. Then sweet Sonya (our waiter), looking at our tired faces, asked when the train was and helped us rent a room for 5 o'clock. We even slept a little and returned for dessert. He was the cherry on the cake on our trip to Samarkand! I advise everyone, Sycamore!👌💋

Great hotel. It was one of the best hotels during our stay in Uzbekistan. Large room, friendly staff, great breakfasts. Great location. The hotel has a restaurant of the same name, where excellent food is served. There are always a lot of people in the restaurant. So, if you are going there, it is better to book a table in advance, because it is in demand not only among tourists, but also among local residents. In general, I advise and recommend!
