I had a rest with my friends from 08/27/24 to 09/07/24. The hotel is located very well, 5 minutes from the sea, among private houses, so it is ideal for a relaxing holiday. The distance from the border to the hotel is exactly 10 minutes. The hotel is newly renovated, all the furniture is new, linen and towels are perfectly snow-white. We rested in room 18, this is a two-room double suite. The room has everything you need, air conditioning, TV, kettle, refrigerator, everything is in working condition. Mosquito nets are stretched on the windows. In general, Turkish and Greek 4 stars, nervously smoking on the sidelines. About food, everything is always fresh, vegetables (tomatoes are magical!), butter, cheeses, cottage cheese. There is always a very tasty soup for lunch, the second with the real one!!! meat, and a variety of salads. The portions are huge, we always overeat. If you want to spend your vacation in a calm atmosphere, without unnecessary thoughts in your head - come to the Platan Hotel! Proximity to the sea and a cozy hotel were very important to me, besides, 3 meals a day (almost like at home) are provided, which is very convenient with a small child. My son and I came for 10 days, and it was a perfect vacation (without exaggeration). I would call this place a residential area, it is very quiet here, there is an excellent swimming pool on the territory of the hotel, which saves during rough seas, as well as a home cinema with a projector, a disco at the request of visitors. Just today we said goodbye to the Sycamore Hotel in Tsandripsha, which we loved so much. We had a rest with our daughter from 18.08. to 28.08.24. We liked EVERYTHING!!! We arrived early in the morning, but despite this, we were warmly welcomed, offered tea and coffee. Then the receptionist Katerina came up, treated us to tangerine juice, we were fed breakfast, although check-in according to the rules of the hotel only after 14 o'clock. Katya is actually a "lighter" girl) will not let anyone get bored, especially in the evening: she will turn on any song for you, and a movie, and a cartoon). We were settled much earlier, thanks to the local maid, I would even call her the "cinderella" of this hotel - this is our Aida!!! The room is shiny, the linen is snow-white, she always greets with a charming smile! It was very pleasant to spend time in her company: to talk and joke, to learn a lot about Abkhazia, I even managed to learn a couple of words in the Abkhazian language, thanks to Aidochka). The kitchen is also a separate "song"... it's always delicious, everything is fresh, and the soup is mmmm...usually you won't find meat in the soup, but here it's the opposite!!! We booked a suite from 09/17/2024 to 09/29/2024, but stayed at the hotel for only one night. Thanks to Maria's manager, she moved us to another hotel. The suite turned out to be an improved standard, we arrived together with my mother, one double bed. I asked to put a second single bed or an armchair bed, the answer is:- We don't have any. Breakfast is completely without a choice, porridge, I did not try, because I do not eat milk porridge, overcooked fried eggs did not cause appetite either. Of the advantages, it is close to the sea, but the road is along a stinking stream. There are no normal shops nearby. It is very far to the center of the village.

I would like to leave an honest and detailed review about my vacation in Abkhazia, in the Tsandripsh area, and in particular at the Platan mini-hotel.
If you care at least a little about the fate of your vacation, then, people, listen to my sincere advice-choose ANY OTHER hotel or guest house, but just do not go to the tent.
Our fun adventures began back in Moscow. To begin with, they could not get information about the transfer from Maria's manager (included in the specified price or not), the second very important point was that they did not receive either a check or a voucher, that is, in fact, they sent the funds simply "to the village of grandpa". Maria claims that when booking early, the customer must request a voucher on their own. Maybe. But what about the check?! Do I need to request a receipt too? Maybe at the tax office right away?
Next, at the airport, before departure, a new manager contacts us, with whom we are also trying to find out the price of the transfer and whether it is included in the price. We are told that the transfer has been paid for. In this regard, we actually agree to it (in another case, we would have used a car rental).
Then, upon arrival, they meet us, take us to the hotel and you won't believe it....They ask you to pay for the transfer additionally. A long and painful showdown begins, after which, in the end, we still pay for the transfer so as not to spoil our rest…Also, without seeing any receipt, voucher, or anything at all, where it would be written how much money we should pay. 3000 rubles were paid for the transfer, later the hotel saw brochures in which the price of 1500 rubles was indicated. A joke)) for Muscovites, there is a 100% cheat right away.

Upon arrival, no one met us (although we arrived at 17 o'clock), no one provided any information about the food and infrastructure of the hotel. On arrival and departure too. The only thing they warned about was that towels should not be dirty, otherwise they would be punished with a fine.
The food is peculiar, without a choice (if there is an allergy, then the product will not be replaced, you can just refuse and stay hungry). For dinner, they give soup and salad, on another day stewed vegetables and vegetable salad, you won't get much exercise. The question of how much it costs to pay extra for accommodation until the evening was not answered, but rudeness. Further, in communication with the manager Maria, the girl vehemently assured us that the price was announced to us ... in the hotel itself, in the end, everything ended with swearing and mutual reproaches between the elderly manager(!) a woman and my husband, whom it is impossible to piss off, it is disgusting that a service worker, while at the workplace, allows himself to express himself like a real coachman.
Our family and I would like to send special greetings to Masha! It's been a long time since we've met such a quirky and incompetent employee. We wish her from the bottom of her heart to start living in such a way that she does not have to deceive people and that she can live according to her conscience, and we also wish that she would meet the same attitude that translates into this world))

And if he knows everything and oversees all the processes, then please do not call yourself at least a "mini-hotel" ... Please....because you have only one name from the hotel.

It's time to get ready for a vacation. My friend and I were on vacation at the very end of September 23. After reviewing all the new hotels and new locations, we decided to spend our vacation again at the Platan mini-hotel!!! Why?
And that's the reason to go back there again. location close to the border (you can walk 15 minutes)
The sea is within walking distance. Near Sukhumi highway, you can drive further into Abkhazia on minibuses. Cozy clean rooms, quiet and comfortable somehow at home. you can contact the hotel staff with any request - they are always ready to help. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious, large portions, thanks to chef Gaucher for them!!!
No one imposes unnecessary services.
when you go on an excursion deep into Abkhazia, due to the location of the hotel, you are picked up first, and you can choose the most convenient place for the tour on the bus. if the electricity is occasionally turned off (which is typical for the whole of Abkhazia), the hotel staff react immediately and turn on the generator. For those who leave negative reviews, I would like to say - if you were expecting great fun, loud music, then choose another hotel! and do not take up space for those who want to relax mentally and physically from the hustle and bustle of big cities.

I would like to leave an honest detailed review about my vacation in Abkhazia, in the Tsandripsh area, and in particular at the Platan1 mini-hotel.
If you care at least a little about the fate of your vacation, then, people, listen to my sincere advice-choose ANY OTHER hotel or guest house, but just do not go to the tent.
Our fun adventures began back in Moscow. To begin with, they could not get information about the transfer from Maria's manager (included in the specified price or not), the second very important point was that they did not receive either a check or a voucher, that is, in fact, they sent the funds simply "to the village of grandpa". Maria claims that when booking early, the customer must request a voucher on their own. Maybe. But what about the check?! Do I need to request a receipt too? Maybe at the tax office right away?
Next, at the airport, before departure, a new manager contacts us, with whom we are also trying to find out the price of the transfer and whether it is included in the price. We are told that the transfer has been paid for. In this regard, we actually agree to it (in another case, we would use a rental car).
Then, upon arrival, they meet us, take us to the hotel and you won't believe it....They ask you to pay for the transfer additionally. A long and painful showdown begins, after which, in the end, we still pay for the transfer so as not to spoil our rest…Also, without seeing any receipt, voucher, or anything at all, where it would be written how much money we should pay. 3000 rubles were paid for the transfer, later the hotel saw brochures in which the price of 1500 rubles was indicated. A joke)) for Muscovites, there is a 100% cheat right away.
Well, God be with him, with this transfer. It's even more interesting next…
Upon arrival, no one met us (although we arrived at 17 o'clock), no one provided any information about the food and infrastructure of the hotel. On arrival and departure too. The only thing they warned about was that towels should not be dirty, otherwise they would be punished with a fine.
The food is peculiar, without a choice (if there is an allergy, then the product will not be replaced, you can just refuse and stay hungry). For dinner, they give soup and salad, on another day stewed vegetables and vegetable salad, you won't get much exercise. Porridge for breakfast, strictly every day, like it or not, your choice is porridge!
The room was cleaned 1 time in 8 days of stay.
Gels, shampoos and soaps were given out once upon arrival and that's it. When it was over, I had to ask the maid for toilet paper, they gave it out with the words "it will stay, you will take it with you to Moscow."
Every time for breakfast, no matter at the beginning or at the end, we got empty bags of milk, empty sugar bowls, we had to ask each time to take it out and bring it. Upon departure, no adequate information was provided, but instead, on the day of departure, they came at 13:30 and said that we had half an hour to vacate the room. When we asked where it was indicated and written, we received the answer that these were such "world standards" and we had to read about everything on the website and study it ourselves before departure. The question arises-what is the function of your agents then, if the client had to figure everything out on his own.
The question of how much it costs to pay extra for accommodation until the evening was not answered, but rudeness. Further, in communication with the manager Maria, the girl vehemently assured us that the price was announced to us ... in the hotel itself, in the end, everything ended with swearing and mutual reproaches between the elderly manager(!) a woman and my husband, whom it is impossible to piss off, it is disgusting that a service worker, while at the workplace, allows himself to express himself like a real coachman.
Our family and I would like to send special greetings to Masha! It's been a long time since we've met such a quirky and incompetent employee. We wish her from the bottom of her heart to start living in such a way that she does not have to deceive people and that she can live according to her conscience, and we also wish that she would meet the same attitude that translates into this world))
I just want to add that I sincerely feel sorry for the owner if he does not know how things really are with the service and services at his hotel. And if he knows everything and oversees all the processes, then please do not call yourself at least a "mini-hotel" ... Please....because you have only one name from the hotel.
The pool is 2x3 meters)) do not flatter yourself by looking at photos taken from a favorable angle.
If not for the Archasia itself, nor its nature, the weather, the neighboring guest houses that helped out with food, delicious wine, smoked fish and our positive attitude, then the rest would have been spoiled!

We were at this hotel from 9.06-06.19.22. The rooms are all dark, the window overlooks the courtyard. There is no tulle, just a curtain. Accordingly, it is impossible to let in light even during the day, since the yard is small and everyone walks under the windows. The food is terrible, there was nothing meat at all for 3 days. Once they gave milk buckwheat porridge and kutya for breakfast. There is no barbecue area, they fried a barbecue on the shore.
On the plus side: the sea is close, clean enough, there is a swimming pool.
