We rested with my husband and grandson at the Sycamore hotel, a wonderful place, a very nice hotel, everything you need to relax is present here, clean and cozy rooms, thank you for this charming girl Aida, she is such a straight hostess, everything is clean, everything is laid out, the beds are fixed, even with such an attitude it is a shame to leave a mess in the room,and I also want to especially say to this sweet girl a touching attitude towards our little grandson and a very patient attitude towards our dog, yes, we rested with a French bulldog, thank you very much for the delicious breakfasts, pancakes and porridge, everything is delicious, everything is clean, the sea is also nearby, the sea was fabulously warm and clean, nearby small shops, in which have everything you need, in general, we leave the Country of the soul with a piece of our soul remaining in the soul

I had a rest with my friends from 08/27/24 to 09/07/24. The hotel is located very well, 5 minutes from the sea, among private houses, so it is ideal for a relaxing holiday. The distance from the border to the hotel is exactly 10 minutes. The hotel is newly renovated, all the furniture is new, linen and towels are perfectly snow-white. We rested in room 18, this is a two-room double suite. The room has everything you need, air conditioning, TV, kettle, refrigerator, everything is in working condition. Mosquito nets are stretched on the windows. In general, Turkish and Greek 4 stars, nervously smoking on the sidelines. About food, everything is always fresh, vegetables (tomatoes are magical!), butter, cheeses, cottage cheese. There is always a very tasty soup for lunch, the second with the real one!!! meat, and a variety of salads. The portions are huge, we always overeat. The chefs are excellent, everything is very tasty, without any overkill. In the evenings, there is a disco and a cinema for entertainment (there is a projector). Room cleaning daily, linen change, once every three days. All this was strictly monitored by the beautiful and clever Aida. In general, the hotel staff is very pleasant. All the receptionists (Katya, Nastya, Saria) are very well-mannered, they will definitely listen and solve all your questions. In general, I liked everything without exception. Now, it's scary to think that after reading all sorts of stuff about holidays in Abkhazia, we almost handed over our vouchers. Thanks to the hotel staff for a decent welcome. I really want to come back.

We rested at the Platan Hotel from 04.08-11.08.24. I liked everything. Many thanks to the maid Aida. Always responds quickly to requests. You can chat with her). Thanks to the administrator Katya. She is very friendly and courteous. Special thanks to the chefs. The food is delicious, homemade. There is not much choice, but it is there. You will definitely not stay hungry. Watching movies every evening, or a disco. If you want to dance, if you don't want to, sit and rest). Karaoke can be arranged on request. The sea is 5 minutes away. The beach is free. Deck chairs, cabins, saps-everything is available and in sufficient quantity. The pebbles are large, but sea slippers solve the problem). This is a place for those who want to slow down and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city

This is the second time we have been staying at this hotel. We came in July and September, we liked everything very much. First of all, I want to mention the excellent administrators, to whom you can contact for any questions, they will tell you everything and tell you. Bed linen, towels, dishes are all changed on time, the hotel is no different from abroad. The service is at the highest level, the food is excellent and very tasty. In the evening, they spend evenings with music or a movie, which cannot but brighten up your evening. There is a swimming pool near which you can sunbathe on the sun beds. The hotel is 5/5, the food is 5/5, the service is 6/5. There is no other way to say it. We will definitely come next year . We recommend it !

If you want to spend your vacation in a calm atmosphere, without unnecessary thoughts in your head - come to the Platan Hotel! Proximity to the sea and a cozy hotel were very important to me, besides, 3 meals a day (almost like at home) are provided, which is very convenient with a small child. My son and I came for 10 days, and it was a perfect vacation (without exaggeration). I would call this place a residential area, it is very quiet here, there is an excellent swimming pool on the territory of the hotel, which saves during rough seas, as well as a home cinema with a projector, a disco at the request of visitors. Everything you need is nearby, shops with local products, cafes and goods for the sea, a beach with everything you need, the main thing is that the clear transparent sea and very few people (when compared with the beaches of Adler and nearby cities). If you wish, you can book tours, and the most interesting thing is that you can travel all over Abkhazia by public transport for a penny (this is for more active people) transport here as in Moscow, just go out on the highway and they will pick you up right away. And after this ride and the commotion, return to a quiet area, walk to the sea and get high on the sun beds there, which is exactly what we did all vacation. I definitely recommend this place, I will definitely come back here again. Thank you very much to the staff for the reverent and attentive attitude to all visitors! Tired of the metropolis, we decided to spend our vacation in Abkhazia, and we did not regret it at all, incredibly beautiful places (one canyon of Hashupse is worth it), a warm, clear sea will remain in memory for a long time, We stayed in pos Tsandripsh, at the Platan hotel. They were greeted very cordially, fed, which was important after a long journey and immediately settled in without fuss. The room is spacious, clean, with good furniture, where there is everything you need for a comfortable stay, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, kettle, cups, snow-white bed linen and towels. Girls, Katya, Nastya, Saria, thank you very much for your friendly attitude, any request was not ignored, I especially want to thank Aida, cleanliness and comfort are her merit, and for our little granddaughter she also became a real friend, they painted together, played ball, and the baby was happy to share her impressions about wonderful excursions (I liked the dolphinarium) I highly recommend this hotel for families with children, those who appreciate a quiet, calm, safe holiday. We had a rest in this beautiful place in early August, while, to be honest, the reality exceeded our expectations. I also want to highlight the employee Aida, who performs her duties very responsibly, wet cleaning almost every day, the room was always clean and smelled nice👍🏼Special thanks to the chefs, the food here also deserves five stars (I do not understand those people who write that it is scarce and small)Yes, this is not a buffet, but it is a full board where not only you will not stay hungry, but you will also eat very tightly at every meal. Just today we said goodbye to the Sycamore Hotel in Tsandripsha, which we loved so much. We had a rest with our daughter from 18.08. to 28.08.24. We liked EVERYTHING!!! We arrived early in the morning, but despite this, we were warmly welcomed, offered tea and coffee. Then the receptionist Katerina came up, treated us to tangerine juice, we were fed breakfast, although check-in according to the rules of the hotel only after 14 o'clock. Katya is actually a "lighter" girl) will not let anyone get bored, especially in the evening: she will turn on any song for you, and a movie, and a cartoon). We were settled much earlier, thanks to the local maid, I would even call her the "cinderella" of this hotel - this is our Aida!!! The room is shiny, the linen is snow-white, she always greets with a charming smile! It was very pleasant to spend time in her company: to talk and joke, to learn a lot about Abkhazia, I even managed to learn a couple of words in the Abkhazian language, thanks to Aidochka). The kitchen is also a separate "song"... it's always delicious, everything is fresh, and the soup is mmmm...usually you won't find meat in the soup, but here it's the opposite!!! Even the trout was baked - the yummy is extraordinary!!! Special thanks to Alina from the dining room - she has a kind heart and golden hands!!! There are no queues - you can eat indoors, you can outdoors! The hotel itself is very beautiful, everything is clean, the rooms are newly furnished and renovated - it's a pleasure to relax!!!It takes 5 minutes to walk to the sea at a calm pace. We booked a suite from 09/17/2024 to 09/29/2024, but stayed at the hotel for only one night. Thanks to Maria's manager, she moved us to another hotel. The suite turned out to be an improved standard, we arrived together with my mother, one double bed. I asked to put a second single bed or an armchair bed, the answer is:- We don't have any. Breakfast is completely without a choice, porridge, I did not try, because I do not eat milk porridge, overcooked fried eggs did not cause appetite either. Of the advantages, it is close to the sea, but the road is along a stinking stream. There are no normal shops nearby. It is very far to the center of the village.

It so happened that we stopped at this "hotel", which is not at all for three days.Already at the end of the first day, the thought began to creep in that I had to move out, on the second day this thought took root in me.Because I booked through an armored car, I started contacting them.There was no point, even if they made a request, they were simply ignored.Of course, who wants to lose money when the demand for housing has already fallen, besides, it's the end of the season!With a later cancellation, I would have paid 400rubles, but here for a day!!But that's not even the point.When we stopped by, the taxi driver couldn't find this place, because there were no identification marks!There is a construction site all around, a bad road, which was then washed away by the rains.You walk like through a minefield through some kind of platform, where there is no railing and a stinky stream flows.
In general, the hotel management refused to refund me for the last day.
When you go to this particular country, book at least for a week!, but pay every day, because no one will ever refund your money if something does not suit you.
When I had lived the first day, I approached the staff and asked, until what time will my neighbors live through the wall?and when I said that I just didn't want to listen to conversations all the time, I was simply ignored.
The only thing I liked was how warmly we were welcomed!And at the same time they were treated to Abkhazian lemonade, that's all!
If you want to live in a nightclub/karaoke!Then here you go!The numbers do not correspond to reality. Cosmetic repairs have been made, but not to the end. Uncomfortable pillows are too high.The mattress on the bed is 160/200 and at the same time the sheets are only 1.5, but they got out of the situation and laid 2! on top of each other.
The pool is small, deep, unheated and dirty.
Breakfast cereals are served too sweet.The food is not particularly tasty and not that monotonous, there is not even much choice.The cheapest coffee is instant powder.

We were completely satisfied with the food, 5 minutes walk to the sea, in which the water is the most honorable. *We bought excursions at this hotel, check out early the next morning, the receptionist took us off for breakfast. During the day, it was the administrator who announced to us that the tour was canceled (the bus broke down). The next morning we go to the place of the tour for breakfast, but breakfast is not ready for us, the receptionist accused us: it turns out that we should have approached the cook and said that we need to cook breakfast.

I would like to leave an honest and detailed review about my vacation in Abkhazia, in the Tsandripsh area, and in particular at the Platan mini-hotel.
If you care at least a little about the fate of your vacation, then, people, listen to my sincere advice-choose ANY OTHER hotel or guest house, but just do not go to the tent.
Our fun adventures began back in Moscow. To begin with, they could not get information about the transfer from Maria's manager (included in the specified price or not), the second very important point was that they did not receive either a check or a voucher, that is, in fact, they sent the funds simply "to the village of grandpa". Maria claims that when booking early, the customer must request a voucher on their own. Maybe. But what about the check?! Do I need to request a receipt too? Maybe at the tax office right away?
Next, at the airport, before departure, a new manager contacts us, with whom we are also trying to find out the price of the transfer and whether it is included in the price. We are told that the transfer has been paid for. In this regard, we actually agree to it (in another case, we would have used a car rental).
Then, upon arrival, they meet us, take us to the hotel and you won't believe it....They ask you to pay for the transfer additionally. A long and painful showdown begins, after which, in the end, we still pay for the transfer so as not to spoil our rest…Also, without seeing any receipt, voucher, or anything at all, where it would be written how much money we should pay. 3000 rubles were paid for the transfer, later the hotel saw brochures in which the price of 1500 rubles was indicated. A joke)) for Muscovites, there is a 100% cheat right away.
Well, God be with him, with this transfer. It's even more interesting next…
Upon arrival, no one met us (although we arrived at 17 o'clock), no one provided any information about the food and infrastructure of the hotel. On arrival and departure too. The only thing they warned about was that towels should not be dirty, otherwise they would be punished with a fine.
The food is peculiar, without a choice (if there is an allergy, then the product will not be replaced, you can just refuse and stay hungry). For dinner, they give soup and salad, on another day stewed vegetables and vegetable salad, you won't get much exercise. Porridge for breakfast, strictly every day, like it or not, your choice is porridge!
The room was cleaned 1 time in 8 days of stay.
Gels, shampoos and soaps were given out once upon arrival and that's it. When it was over, I had to ask the maid for toilet paper, they gave it out with the words "it will stay, you will take it with you to Moscow."
Every time for breakfast, no matter at the beginning or at the end, we got empty bags of milk, empty sugar bowls, we had to ask each time to take it out and bring it. It seems like you paid, but you have to ask again for your own money and endure the snorting and sidelong glances of dissatisfied staff.
The rudeness of the staff is perhaps a separate topic for conversation.
Upon departure, no adequate information was provided, but instead, on the day of departure, they came at 13:30 and said that we had half an hour to vacate the room. When we asked where it was indicated and written, we received the answer that these were such "world standards" and we had to read about everything on the website and study it ourselves before departure. The question arises-what is the function of your agents then, if the client had to figure everything out on his own.
The question of how much it costs to pay extra for accommodation until the evening was not answered, but rudeness. It's time to get ready for a vacation. My friend and I were on vacation at the very end of September 23. After reviewing all the new hotels and new locations, we decided to spend our vacation again at the Platan mini-hotel!!! Why?
And that's the reason to go back there again. location close to the border (you can walk 15 minutes)
The sea is within walking distance. Near Sukhumi highway, you can drive further into Abkhazia on minibuses. Cozy clean rooms, quiet and comfortable somehow at home. you can contact the hotel staff with any request - they are always ready to help. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious, large portions, thanks to chef Gaucher for them!!!
No one imposes unnecessary services.
when you go on an excursion deep into Abkhazia, due to the location of the hotel, you are picked up first, and you can choose the most convenient place for the tour on the bus. if the electricity is occasionally turned off (which is typical for the whole of Abkhazia), the hotel staff react immediately and turn on the generator. For those who leave negative reviews, I would like to say - if you were expecting great fun, loud music, then choose another hotel! and do not take up space for those who want to relax mentally and physically from the hustle and bustle of big cities.

The place is very good, the nature is awesome! But we will not come to this hotel anymore! The service needs to be learned. We even bought toilet paper and soap ourselves! Once they asked, they gave it, but they didn't ask any more. Towels are not changed. The rooms are cleaned ONCE EVERY FIVE DAYS! And the torture of music, at full volume of the speakers from 20 to 23 hours, is a separate topic! And it's useless to say whether to turn it down or turn it off. If you care at least a little about the fate of your vacation, then, people, listen to my sincere advice-choose ANY OTHER hotel or guest house, but just do not go to the tent.
Our fun adventures began back in Moscow. To begin with, they could not get information about the transfer from Maria's manager (included in the specified price or not), the second very important point was that they did not receive either a check or a voucher, that is, in fact, they sent the funds simply "to the village of grandpa". Maria claims that when booking early, the customer must request a voucher on their own. Maybe. But what about the check?! Do I need to request a receipt too? Maybe at the tax office right away?
Next, at the airport, before departure, a new manager contacts us, with whom we are also trying to find out the price of the transfer and whether it is included in the price. We are told that the transfer has been paid for. In this regard, we actually agree to it (in another case, we would use a rental car).
Then, upon arrival, they meet us, take us to the hotel and you won't believe it....They ask you to pay for the transfer additionally. A long and painful showdown begins, after which, in the end, we still pay for the transfer so as not to spoil our rest…Also, without seeing any receipt, voucher, or anything at all, where it would be written how much money we should pay. 3000 rubles were paid for the transfer, later the hotel saw brochures in which the price of 1500 rubles was indicated. A joke)) for Muscovites, there is a 100% cheat right away.
Well, God be with him, with this transfer. It's even more interesting next…
Upon arrival, no one met us (although we arrived at 17 o'clock), no one provided any information about the food and infrastructure of the hotel. On arrival and departure too. The only thing they warned about was that towels should not be dirty, otherwise they would be punished with a fine.
The food is peculiar, without a choice (if there is an allergy, then the product will not be replaced, you can just refuse and stay hungry). For dinner, they give soup and salad, on another day stewed vegetables and vegetable salad, you won't get much exercise. Porridge for breakfast, strictly every day, like it or not, your choice is porridge!
The room was cleaned 1 time in 8 days of stay.
Gels, shampoos and soaps were given out once upon arrival and that's it. When it was over, I had to ask the maid for toilet paper, they gave it out with the words "it will stay, you will take it with you to Moscow."

We were at this hotel from 9.06-06.19.22. The rooms are all dark, the window overlooks the courtyard. There is no tulle, just a curtain. Accordingly, it is impossible to let in light even during the day, since the yard is small and everyone walks under the windows. The food is terrible, there was nothing meat at all for 3 days. Once they gave milk buckwheat porridge and kutya for breakfast. There is no barbecue area, they fried a barbecue on the shore.
On the plus side: the sea is close, clean enough, there is a swimming pool.
I chose this hotel after reading positive reviews, I was shocked by reality. I don't think I'll come here again
