An extraordinary place. The ancient Pitsunda temple. Organ music concerts are held there. The Honored Artist of the Republic of Abkhazia, Luka Gadelia, plays.Such an amazing organ sound that it takes your breath away. I recommend you to visit. Before the concert, you can walk around the beautiful Temple grounds.
Great. I recommend. Thank you very much to the guide. The story lasted a long time, but only a real professional can lead a monologue so fascinatingly. Very competent and intelligent. We listened to music performed by Luca Gadelia and Kristina Eshba. It's a delight
I really enjoyed the concert. An atmospheric hall. The temple has been standing for 1000 years and has not been destroyed, it is perfectly preserved. Before the concert, an interesting historical lecture about the temple and Abkhazia
,A very ancient temple, which resembles concerts of organ and classical music. Excellent acoustics. It's worth a visit. The place is steeped in antiquity and history.
The hall is beautiful, the acoustics are excellent. It is a pity that the cost for an organ concert for three people (me, my wife and child) turned out to be prohibitive - 3900 rubles, and so we would definitely visit. By the way, it was much more accessible in Livadia a few years ago.
We were glad to visit this place. When buying a concert ticket, they warned that you need to come in advance and visit the tour. This is rather not an excursion, but a lecture near the temple and the museum, we learned a lot about the history and culture of Abkhazia. Several frescoes have been preserved in the temple, but now there is a concert hall in this ancient building where you can listen to organ music. In the acoustics and atmosphere of the temple, this is very impressive.,
A beautiful temple of the 10th century, with excellent acoustics. And of course, the organ music concert is beyond praise.
One drawback is the intense stuffiness, despite the open doors from different sides.
I attended a children's performance by violinists from different schools . The music there is very deep and fascinating. The children did a great job. I was stuck there for half an hour for sure. Be sure to go.
A large hall .a big stage .There is a Blutner concert grand piano on the stage and now a Bezendorfer grand piano. You can play on 2 grand pianos. There is a large organ to the right of the stage. It sounds great for this room.
The concert was amazing!!! The acoustics are incredible.
BUT it is very stuffy, despite the washed doors, the chairs are upholstered with some kind of warm and slightly prickly material, which causes some discomfort in the heat. But you can be patient. The main thing before the concert is to stock up on cold water and a fan, and then there will definitely be happiness!!
We were at the organ concert of Luke Gadelia. Mesmerizing sound, excellent acoustics! The atmosphere of the medieval temple enhances the flavor of what is happening. I recommend everyone to visit and listen if possible!
Incredible atmosphere! I was lucky enough to attend the organ concert of Luke Gadelia 👏 spaciousness, acoustics, beauty, an indelible impression, complete immersion in music, in feelings!
I come to Abkhazia every year. And I definitely visit the Temple. Luca Gadelia gives amazing organ music concerts. It's just a pity that tickets are sold only on the day of the concert.
Acoustics, argan leading, everything is fine. If you are lucky and there will be artists with soloists, then you will have impressions for a long time.
I was very impressed. We listened to an organ concert, I recommend going. The organ in the Orthodox church is a wonderful miracle. Tickets are definitely in advance.
It was the only 100% planned place to visit in Abkhazia. All my "sound receptors"))) enjoyed listening to the program. As for me, the program was sooo classic, perhaps a little difficult to listen to. The guide said that in the future, the performance of rock and pop music will be very interesting to listen to. A place with a rich and dramatic history, it is impossible not to get involved in the emotions of the guide telling about it) I advise you to buy or book a ticket in advance at the ticket office, as it turned out, even at the end of the "season" the hall is fully boarded. It is not particularly important even where to sit, but on what))) it is much more convenient to sit on a soft seat, and not on a wooden bench))) And you can view the hall and the organ before and after the concert, then you can take a photo. The performers are on top, you need to hear it, I'm sure everyone will have their own emotions!!!
The incredible concert by organist Luca Gadelia will not leave anyone indifferent! This sound is something unreal!! And accompanied with a solo by Kristina Eshpa - just space!!! I recommend you to visit!!
Minus- concert tickets cannot be bought online, only after standing in a live queue by pre-booking on the website!
Complete delight!!!
Emotions cannot be conveyed.
You only need to see and hear it for yourself.
The atmosphere is incredible: an ancient temple, the face of Christ above your head and the music to which you fly into nirvana. Powerful vibrations.
This is amazing! I and all my friends who visited this place liked the organ, I highly recommend it! And be sure to take a tour before the concert. You won't regret it. The first time I attended a concert of organized music a long time ago, there were still benches in the hall. Now the chairs are very comfortable, the acoustics are great. I will be in Abkhazia, I will definitely take tickets to the concert.
A wonderful place! Performers of the highest level! We visit every time we come to Pitsunda. I recommend you to visit!

An incredible place!!! An ancient temple with its masonry and frescoes. Great acoustics!!! I did not expect that there is such a concert hall with an organ in Pitsunda, it is a real pearl of this region. It's a pity that I got to the last day and stayed only at the rehearsal, I couldn't stay for the concert itself. I recommend it to everyone!
On October 1, 2023, we experienced great happiness, a fantastic feeling from an organ concert in the 10th century Patriarchal Cathedral of Pitsunda. The concert of the organist Luca Gadelia was an amazing revelation of the meeting with the magnificent performance and presentation of the music of the great composers Vivaldi, Bach, Vidor and so on. The undoubted gift was a solo performance by soprano vocalist Kristina Eshba. Bravo bravissimo! We are happy to acknowledge our gratitude to the ancient land of Abkhazia, which gives birth to such wonderful musicians. We are sure they will have a wonderful career of great music. Thank you for the light, lightness and feeling of endless happiness of life. Guests: Orsk, Orenburg region: Fauzia, Farida, Raila, Marcel, Vladimir - THANK YOU!
The organ in the cathedral sounds divine.
The mezzo-soprano is quite worthy of the Mariinsky stage.
To the performers and organizers - thanks and a bow.
A wonderful concert, almost charity, taking into account the price of 1 tr. (compare with the Mariinsky or the Conservatory).
And not too long - about an hour classics do not have time to tire ;)
The tour before the concert is excellent. The concert is great. The hall is comfortable. But in summer it is very stuffy, almost unbearable.
The staff, as almost everywhere in Abkhazia, is somewhat dismissive of guests.
The price of concerts is too high.
But there is nowhere else to go in Pitsunda.
It is necessary to leave the strength for the museum.
It was the first time we were in the organ hall of Pitsunda, and it wasn't the last time!I liked the program -it consisted of classic famous works, the author's work of the artist, and a modern soundtrack and!Of course, the duet of Luka and Kristina is unforgettable - they are beautiful and harmonious together!I wish you creative success!
The warm atmosphere of the temple, its unique acoustics combined with the professional performance on the organ of Luca Gadelia and the vocal skills of Kristina Eshba (soprano) will one day lead my husband and me to Pitsunda again to enjoy divine music. Friends, I recommend visiting this concert hall - you will not regret it.❤️❤️
I was at a classical music festival. The acoustics are magical, and the sun at sunset lowered its rays incredibly beautifully into the hall, and it was all surrounded by images of saints, there was a sense of magic.
The concert is great. A beautiful temple, a very interesting tour before the concert, rather a story about the history of the construction of the temple and the organ. Be sure to visit the museum.
Twice (in September 2022 and September 2023) she attended organ music concerts in this Temple - Concert Hall. Both times in the deepest admiration for the performing skills of Luke Gadelia and the atmosphere prevailing in the Temple.
A very unusual atmospheric concert hall, where concerts are performed on the organ. Unfortunately, it was not possible to watch the performance, we were just on an excursion.
The emotions that the concert gave are incredibly bright, colorful, combined with a visit to the historical museum and the cathedral itself is incredibly interesting.
great gym. the performance of the artists and an interesting excursion into the history of Pitsunda and Christianity combine well.
While relaxing on the Abkhazian coast, do not miss the concerts of Luka Gadelia and Christiana Eshba. I especially liked the romance of the Boat and modern compositions
I recommend you to visit very much.
If you are a connoisseur of organ music, then you definitely need to visit this place.
And be sure to get to the concert of Luke Gadelia.
This is something,,, divine,, a concert of organ music by Luka Gadelia ,, and Kristina Eshba, we are simply delighted,, we did not even expect how wonderful it is to hear live how the organ and voice sound in such a place,, a temple of the 10th century,,, be sure to go to Pitsunda being in Abkhazia for The concert!!!
One of the most vivid memories is a visit to a concert at the Pitsunda Temple. Amazing performer Luca Gadelia and incredible singer Kristina Eshba. They are young, very talented and, at the same time, easy to communicate. The concert was wonderful! Thanks!
The place is beautiful. Incredibly beautiful organ concerts, the schedule should be viewed at the entrance. Tickets are sold only at the box office. The hall is full, there are many people who want to, an interesting museum.
I don't really like it. Not so much the temple itself, but the concerts. Especially, of course, the organ performed by Luca Gadelia.
The acoustics at the temple are beautiful.
Arrangements of famous modern works on the organ are very interesting to listen to (for example, last year L. Gadelia played from Queen, and many more rock hits)
A real pleasure! Wonderful concerts, talented performers. We went with the children. When the children got tired of listening, they went for a walk with the whole crowd around the temple, without distracting adults from the concert.
