The pyramid of Queen Henutsen, located in the Giza necropolis, is one of the most mysterious and little-known structures of Ancient Egypt. It was built during the IV dynasty for Henutsen, the sister of Pharaoh Snefru and the mother of Cheops.The pyramid is small in size and consists of two steps. Its base is 45.8 × 45.7 m, and its original height is 18.5 m. Today its height is 17 m.Studies of the pyramid have shown that it combines elements of a pyramid and a mastaba. This makes it unique among other pyramids of Ancient Egypt.Unfortunately, the pyramid of Queen Henutsen is not as well preserved as the other pyramids of Giza.
