The restaurant is small, probably, so it was very difficult to book a table for 12 people (by pre-order and prepayment)... The food is very tasty, the men appreciated the steak, the portions are large, the serving is beautiful. We also went to have breakfast here, staying at the Novy Svet hotel - breakfasts are on top! We checked into the hotel in the evening, decided to have dinner at the restaurant located on the ground floor, but this is not possible, since all tables are booked by visitors who do not live in it and the restaurant is not designed for hotel guests. It is necessary to look for a place for a meal somewhere else if you have not ordered a table early in a place with a room. The hotel administration does not warn about this.

Very inexpensive and delicious business lunches. And they go until 4 o'clock. The main kitchen is good, I advise you to try the duck, but the price tag is already St. Petersburg. The rooms are good but there is no ventilation, only through an open window! This is a disadvantage, especially stuffy in the standard rooms.
The bar has a good selection, but of course you don't have to wait for something brilliant, Ireland whiskey is presented very modestly, Armenian cognacs are well represented.
The atmosphere is very pleasant, as is the service itself.

There was one time, shortly after the opening. The impressions are very pleasant. We were greeted warmly, the waiter served us politely. I liked all the dishes (which, alas, does not always happen in some establishments). Furniture, interior, dishes and service leave an aftertaste of elitism. Therefore, in sweatpants, I would feel uncomfortable. But it's not a shame to invite guests, a lady or just friends to such an institution.
I hope that next time (it's been a couple of months since the first visit) I won't be disappointed and everything will be the same quality as the first time.

We came to Peshkov for breakfast on the way to the center. Delicious, large portions. There are three types of breakfast -English, Belarusian and Norwegian. The cost is about 23 rubles per serving. Separately, ricotta cheesecakes are a fairy tale. Cappuccino is made with vegetable milk. Friendly waiters. I recommend.

I'll start with the pleasant moments. The establishment is young, which means that the interior is still fresh, new furniture, etc ... Inside the room there is a solid wood finish, it looks quite expensive. The restaurant has 2 halls. I liked the second one more, with panoramic windows. But our table was not there)). I liked the idea of large chairs with a high back and armrests. We just had a table with such furniture. It is very comfortable and there is a feeling of isolation from the neighbors and the situation behind them. Only my chair was placed against the table so that the distance between the armrest and the extreme corner of the table was no more than 15 cm, i.e. it was literally necessary to climb behind the table. Carefully. And, given the size of the furniture, you don't move much. I'm skinny. I was interested to see how a larger person would squeeze through))
On the left side of the entrance to the building there is a staircase to the hotel, there is a terrarium with a chameleon.
I like this feature when there are some animals in the establishment: fish, birds, exotic animals ...
a beautiful restroom. The interior has notes of exoticism. But if it's busy, we wait in the hallway. Sanehinka is all in one room.
For those who like to take photos in a restaurant, there are errors with lighting. It lights up a lot from some angles. Apparently, this factor was not taken into account when designing.
We were served by a young man. The best manners, upbringing - everything is with him. With all due respect to the female half of humanity, I prefer male staff in the service of this category of catering establishments.
Kitchen. Above all. Of course, there are no comrades in taste and color, but it seems to me that it is better to order meat dishes in this restaurant. Roasting, sauce - no complaints.
Fish dishes were losing out against meat dishes, although I prefer seafood to meat.
Now read more about the nuances. Since our order had pork ribs, there were fragments of bones in the meat, an unpleasant moment, you must agree. On the flowers that were present in the decorations of the dishes, you could see a small crawling bug)). As part of one of the dishes stated in the menu, the ingredient was cherry tomatoes, in fact - ordinary tomatoes. In one of the dishes, as a side dish, there were string beans. It was grilled and served in the form of long whole sticks, in places with a wider diameter, it was poorly fried, it was difficult to cut into pieces, accordingly, it was too hard in structure. We did not understand such a side dish. It can be an amateur.
Avocado baked with salmon also caused a mixed impression. It's peculiar. But not for the gourmet though. Not ah.
I was also confused by the almost simultaneous serving of two hot dishes to one customer.
After all, the second cools down during the meal first.
The place is generally not bad. But the menu seemed a little boring, not very diverse.
Everything is fine, guys, but a flight of fancy kitchen will not hurt and a more careful attitude to the preparation of food for cooking.
