The staff members were great, they had a great time. But the fact of the location, puddles, a muddy road to the building itself, the lack of amenities in the form of a toilet, a wardrobe space is sad, and paid parking also does not make advantages....
Where should I start?
We wanted to impress friends who had never been on quests and were skeptical about this kind of entertainment. We ourselves are frequent guests on scary quests.
Spoiler: it was not possible to impress, only negative emotions remained.
1. Location study: The
most empty and unfinished rooms of all the quests that we visited in Minsk (we were on more than 10 horror quests). An empty room with a lot of numbers on the walls does not arouse any interest, does not give an entourage, and even more so does not cause a feeling of fear)
2. It so happened that in the beginning we were separated. There was an interactive conversation with two people, only they got a portion of fear, while the other two just sat for a long time, because they did not understand what to do at all (in this case, there should usually be a hint that might suggest an idea). They began to help us, but not by giving us hints, as is usually the case, but simply gave us a ready answer, but the actors themselves got confused in the hints.
3. The room with numbers:
We stayed in the room for 15-20 minutes, trying to figure out what we can do with the data we have. We did not find any pattern, we did not receive any hints. In the end, the actor just came and said "let's go enter the code", initially even led to the wrong lock and just said which numbers to enter. THEY DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO HELP US WITH THE HELP OF SUGGESTIVE HINTS SO THAT WE COULD TRY TO COME TO A DECISION OURSELVES.
4. Another ill-conceived moment in our account was the last location, where it was necessary to read a long spell from the tablets many times.
Firstly, three plates had to be placed in a certain order, we did it incorrectly, we did not see any pattern. As a result, the actor just came up and put them in the right order.
The problem is that the location of the table forced us to sit with our backs to the actors and we simply did not see what was happening behind our backs when the actors were playing a scene of exorcising a demon from a girl, since it was necessary to recite the spell without stopping.
5. We would also call the musical accompaniment unsuccessful, which, in our opinion, does not create a frightening entourage at all and does not go well with the story. An hour of listening to the same rock song in the background at the end began to annoy.
6. The actor's game
I would say that the main actor was not entirely convincing in his attempts to scare, he did not cause horror. Already in the middle of the quest, we caught ourselves thinking that it was just boring and not scary at all.
All we were constantly scared of was a stick, which was beaten and a taser, which was scary only at first. When this was repeated from location to location, the taser stopped scaring at all.
7. The plot
We also did not follow the plot, the narrative turned out to be blurred, by the end we completely forgot what our purpose of staying here was.
8. I also didn't really like talking to the administrator at the very end. We were not asked what riddles might be incomprehensible, we were not offered a drink of water, it seemed that it was not at all interesting to find out our impression of the quest.
