We visited this hotel in November 2024. The hotel is old, the renovation was a long time ago. But it is relatively clean, cleaning is daily. A general cleaning would not hurt (very dusty curtains). The hotel needs cosmetic repairs.
Breakfast is on the roof, the view from there is wonderful! But there is nothing to eat at breakfast, there is nothing hot. But there is coffee (so-so), Turkish tea (delicious). The staff is quite friendly. One day there was no water (no!!! neither cold nor hot). In general, it's fine, we walked all day, we only spent the night at the hotel.

The hotel corresponds to 4 stars. Almost in the center of Taksim district. The location is very good, 1.5 km to the Galata Bridge, it is easy to go to it because from the hill, it is more difficult to go back. And in general, there are many places to go on foot from the hotel. The room is small, but clean and comfortable enough. The room has everything you need, hair dryer, shampoo, gel (they smell delicious by the way) mini fridge. I did not like the shower room without a door combined with a toilet. Water is on the floor all the time after washing (minus a star for this). Breakfast is on the 8th floor, the view from the terrace is beautiful, atmospheric. The breakfasts are the same every morning, but everything is delicious and edible. I am quite happy with the hotel, because I was not going to sit in it, but to walk around Istanbul. By the way, the price through the tour operator turned out to be much cheaper than through Yandex travel☝️

We took a room from Saturday to Sunday. Room 301 is very noisy and you can hear loud music from the club, cars and conversations. It's so loud, as if you're right in the club, only in the toilet. Everything else is fine, the breakfast is not bad. But this hotel is not suitable for sleeping.

We went on a tour. The tour operator stated that the hotel is 4+.
But in fact it's 3+.
The room (for two) is not small, but tiny. Although it is fully equipped: a large bed, an armchair + a chair + an ottoman, bedside tables, shelves, a wardrobe, a TV, a refrigerator, a kettle. But it's all on 3-4 squares (they won't turn around anyway).
The hammam and spa didn't work, so it's hard to judge.
Otherwise, there are only advantages.
Breakfast on the covered terrace with a magnificent view. It's a 5-minute walk to Taksim, and there is a metro, Istiklal, tram, shops.
The room was cleaned every day, the towel was changed and supplies (thoughts, shampoos, paper, coffee, tea, sugar) were replenished.
Wi-Fi worked, but with varying success.
The staff is wonderful. Everyone was kind, competent and helpful.

The horror, the stench from the sewer, the dirt even after cleaning. There is still a lot to write. Imagine a garbage dump and you will understand everything. I do not recommend even for free.

The hotel is located next to the metro and Taksim Square. It is very convenient for traveling. The room is small, but everything is there, everything is new and clean. The bed is great. Breakfast at 5, I was full. The staff is competent and friendly
