I really liked this hotel, we stayed in it on our first visit to Egypt. Beautiful, soulful, good rooms, quality food and a great reef. It's worth the money, I'd love to go again
People fly to such places only because of the sea and the rich underwater world in the first place. The sea here is really gorgeous , a great lively colorful reef , many different fish and other marine life , a wide sandy beach , normal sun beds . Now a little bit about the hotel itself. Of course, it has not been new for a long time , some common parts already need to be repaired , but the territory is clean and green. Our room was small , everything was old , but still in working order . But we had a large terrace with stunning views of the open sea, plus the magical sound of the waves , and we are only ready to close our eyes to many shortcomings in accommodation and in general, which the management apparently uses. The food is very average , there has never been a large selection of dishes , but you can always find something to eat . The breakfasts are standard , we had enough eggs and pastries . I would like at least one more dish of beef or liver for lunch , for example , for dinner everything is more or less tolerable . The alcohol is local , which means no alcohol , well , maybe beer tastes even less . There is some entertainment at the hotel , but we arrived at the sea , so we went to bed early to come to it earlier , it gets dark early too. Of the additional trips, they took naturally marine ones - dolphin Bay and Mars - Mubarak, where there is still a chance to meet a sea cow , tours were found through social networks at Mido Bikham, it is available in any, much cheaper than the guide offered. The prices in the shops here are clearly hung up on everything, so do not forget either the cream or any other little things, pay. If you are interested in original Egyptian oils, then I advise you to find eliteargan on Instagram, the prices there are pleasant and there is a delivery service directly to the hotel. There is no free Internet here, it is cheaper to buy a local SIM card at the airport. So it's up to you to decide about visiting this place, but if you love the sea and the price suits you, then don't even hesitate.
Disgusting. Of the more than two dozen Egyptian hotels I've been to, it's the worst.
We had a vacation with my wife from October 12 to 22, 2021.. Usually a bungalow is the best way to stay. But not in this hotel. There were no chairs in the room at all. There are TWO towels for two. Change of linen in ten days once. The falling off cornice of the blind curtain. No shampoos in the bathroom, only LIQUID soap. Faulty toilet drain tank. etc. etc.
And how do you stand in the morning for 15 minutes over scrambled eggs? And how do you like that before your eyes, bottled water is poured into a juice cooler or a kettle with coffee? And how do you like the lack of WI-FI even at the reception? And how do you like the lack of a "snack" on the beach? And one kind of sausage and one kind of cheese? And a powdered wine with a black sediment at the bottom of the glass?
You can go on indefinitely. Even the reef does not compensate for the shortcomings of the hotel. The level is at best a three-piece and then with a stretch.
Never to this hotel again.
