A small, interesting and cozy museum in a historic building. In addition, among the advantages, I would like to note the friendly and pleasant staff. The disadvantage is the lack of structure in the representation of the pre-revolutionary history of the city, the outpost from its foundation: I did not even find a single map before the XX century. But there were still fortresses of Imekiya and Khan-Kimak somewhere there... white spots of history that are still hidden.

When visiting a new city, I try to visit the museum of the city without fail. The museum is very interesting, I liked it, I learned a lot of interesting things. We took a guide, we liked everything. The atmosphere of that time is felt. Since Potanin himself lived in it.
