It's a truly majestic masterpiece. This is a design by the famous Spanish-Swiss architect - engineer Santiago Calatrava. This is a project of national significance, and it has truly become an icon of Expo 2020. The design was inspired by the UAE's national symbol, the falcon, also highlighting the spirit and strength of connections that has transformed the UAE from a desert into a global point of connection. S.Calatrava is also renowned for its exceptional style in which it combines simple shapes, nature and modern technology capabilities, creating a unique sense of lightness through smooth lines.

Sand dunes are recreated in the pavilion, real sand is directly imported and the illumination is made, very original. Gorgeous compositions of trees on islands in the water are made around the pavilion.
