The hostel is not bad, the interior is clean enough, but WiFi is intermittent, especially on the upper floors. We stayed for 3 nights, for 15 euros per day we were provided with a separate room for two and with a shared shower. The staff is very friendly, explains everything and guides you around the city. However, on the second day, we noticed a large bug on the curtain. The girls said that the case is an isolated one and they are struggling with it. We double-checked all our belongings, and we were quickly moved to another floor to a more comfortable room with a private bathroom for the same money. I don't know if the hostel fixed this problem, but overall everything was fine.
Good location, friendly staff.
We stayed at the Patio Hostel for two nights, in a double room (with facilities on the floor). We were met by a very friendly girl, they settled in quickly, they take a deposit of 10 euros for the key, the deposit is refunded upon departure. There was a toilet and several showers in our wing, so there was no queue to "wash up", the toilet was always clean. The room itself had two separate beds with very comfortable mattresses and fresh linen. I was pleased with the large number of electrical outlets. There was free coffee and tea in the shared kitchen. The location of the hostel is excellent, it is a 5-minute walk to the old town, three minutes to the large Tesco supermarket on the way to the old town on the opposite side. In general, who needs affordable housing in the center of Bratislava, I definitely recommend it!
