A wonderful hotel! The most beautiful beach, excellent service, nice spacious rooms! The breakfasts are ordinary, nothing special, but at the same time everything is there. For those who are not picky, it will be great. Dinners are sometimes a la carte, sometimes buffet, very tasty!
We really liked it. We were a family of three in a separate house "Flanboyan" - this is a family room, with a large bedroom and a balcony directly above the ocean, as well as with an additional cozy bedroom for one or two. The plumbing is a little tired, but working. Other equipment is in order, including air conditioning, kettle, mini fridge with freezer. Cleaning every day. Self-confident Myna birds flew to the balcony and fed. Other animals did not bother, there were no mosquitoes at all, although there were fumigators in the house. If you try very hard, you can find the smallest ants near the baseboards, but this is probably inevitable in a separate house right on the hillside among the plants. And they didn't interfere at all, they lived their lives.
The beach near the hotel is the best place for swimming on the entire island of La Digue: on the opposite, western side of the island, the beaches are good and there are no waves due to the reef shoal, but for the same reason it is too shallow for swimming. And on the east side, there is more excitement on other beaches. We were in late June - early July, it's a windy season, and generally the waves are decent at high tide, but you can always get used to it, go in and have a good swim. The hotel also has a small swimming pool and a shower.
The breakfasts are not bad, the assortment changes a little from day to day, and you can always find something to taste. There was also oatmeal porridge. From fruits - very tasty small bananas, papaya, watermelon, coconut.
Prices in the Seychelles are high. If the budget is limited, it is good to buy food at "take away" points, there are many of them, in almost every restaurant. It is best to change the currency in the exchanger directly above the cash desk at the port, where the exchange rate is slightly more profitable than in nearby bank branches.
A hotel of at least 4 stars.
The incredibly beautiful design of the hotel and the landscape, where the steps, height, descent to the ocean and ocean views are successfully beaten.
Just walking around the hotel is also a pleasure.
Excellent staff - from the manager to the cleaners, very polite, friendly, friendly. A little obsessive in friendly communication cook)) I wanted silence and privacy.
Buffet breakfasts and dinners are good for the islands, I didn't like the set menu (there is no choice, it's a bit greasy). There were always not enough fruits, very tasty watermelons.
Unbearably beautiful nature around, beach, palm trees, rocks, etc.
Swimming is very difficult, almost impossible. A million photos)))the Internet works very well, even when entering the ocean. The super-friendly staff provided me with a room much higher than the category I paid for, I highly recommend "Africa".I always slept with the windows open and the furious noise of the ocean was heard, very impressive. within walking distance from the hotel cafes, the center of the village, you can walk along a beautiful road.
I recommend octopus salad, chicken wings. Very tasty. Hot water flows well. There were no insects in the room, except for the case when I left a piece of bread, very small ants ran up)The hotel guests are quiet, calm couples from Europe, the silence was expensive) The pool is clean and warm. Comfortable sun beds with a view of the ocean.
I highly recommend this hotel.
Many thanks to every employee of the hotel for a perfectly organized vacation.
The best that could be chosen! The best beach on the island, wonderful rooms, excellent and varied cuisine, the staff is very friendly! I recommend it straight!
We had a family vacation from 12/16/2021-12/26/2021...on the island.La digue Seychelles Hotel Patatran.Of course, the beauty is unreal, the hostess Lindy is sweet...friendly, houses in the rocks on different tiers, there is a swimming pool and anse patates beach, but snorkeling and swimming on this beach is problematic because of the high waves.Turtles walk in a free direction. Now for nutrition:the waiters are attentive, the breakfast buffet is pancakes...toasts... eggs...omelet..fruits and 2 types of cupcakes, flakes...There was never any porridge.Lunch and dinner on the menu:grilled fish...grilled chicken...curry...carbonara...cream soup.....even if you alternate... damn...Well, it gets boring...Ice cream is served for dessert...a huge disadvantage is that there are no pastries for lunch and dinner..Usually they add kg on vacation...and we lost 3 kg. I didn't like that you even need to buy water, we were in the Maldives there for free a bottle of water per person. There was no rain...The locals are hospitable...but the prices are space...
A wonderful budget hotel in the Seychelles! The views are gorgeous and I think this is the best beach on the island) and the view from the room is just a dump) the most wonderful impressions were left!
There is nothing to do there , the food is 3 with a minus, there is also nothing special for which you can fly 11 hours , nature, in my opinion, is inferior at times to Thailand …
If you stop at Ladiga, then the place is excellent, far from the main part of the town, its own beach with the best reef on the island, but since the whole island can be traveled by bike, then removal is only a plus, especially since the beaches in the town itself are so-so
There is no entertainment, but they are not needed
It's more expensive than renting a house from someone, but all rooms have ocean views
The location of the hotel is excellent, the views of the ocean are simply amazing. Good service, courteous staff (all requests were fulfilled instantly), clean, good cuisine. I didn't see any disadvantages. I want to go back.
You will be fed sausages. But in general, there is little normal food on the island. Be sure to watch when there is no wind season in the Seychelles, otherwise you will not be able to swim. And if you can, then there will be no living creatures! Be sure to visit the beaches that can only be reached through mountains/rocks, there are special trails there.
