We had a rest in late autumn 2019. An 8-storey building with two entrances. There are restaurants and clubs on the first two floors and on the last. Clubs are of course for fans of Thai girls or for those who want to smoke and dance. The music is turned on at exactly 21 and the same record is played every day. The whole hotel can be heard. But if you swim in the sea all day, then on the 7th floor it does not distract much from sleep. The food is varied for 3-4*. There is also a terribly spicy Indian and bland English. There are at least 7-8 hot dishes to choose from (they change every day) and about 10-15 different snacks (watermelons, melons, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, hummus, mutabal, eggs, croissants). There is a swimming pool (on the roof of the 2nd floor), but we were in it 1 time while we were distributed among the rooms. Still, the sea is certainly better. Minibuses leave for the sea in the morning (from 1 to 3 pieces) at 8:45, to marassi beach, picks up back at 13:45. On Thursday evenings, there is a guard at the entrance (when the Saudis begin to arrive). The mosque is a 3-minute walk away. Shops are 50 meters away. The embankment with an alley is 200-300 meters away. The Museum of Local Lore is 30-40 minutes away at a leisurely pace. I recommend driving an Uber (2-3 dinars almost everywhere on the island). There are buses, but they go in 30-40 minutes, although they correspond to the schedule on Google maps. There is a Russian-speaking girl at the reception, although she pretends to be English-speaking (she clearly understood us). The room is cleaned every day while everything is on the beach, very clean, shampoos and soap are added every day. There is a small refrigerator and a kettle, a hairdryer, a prayer mat. There is a safe in the room, no one steals anything. Overall, a great place compared to other 3-4* hotels in the area. I recommend it for a budget vacation.
