Excellent new hotel in the center of Langkawi tour area. Excellent breakfasts for every taste, and generous dinners in the evening. Clean sandy beach. Two beautiful pools, especially the infinity pool on the fifth floor. The polite, helpful staff is always ready to help you call a taxi and arrange an excursion. Good cleaning service. We liked it. Within walking distance of the shops of Dutch fries, a bunch of restaurants of various cuisines.

Great room, very tasty breakfast food, easy to use card (I have a wristband), main plus: we have been to many hotels and there is no coffee mate, but in Park Royal there is, have their drinking water and activity centre where is (billiards, football, ps5, nintendo, board games, table tennis).

We had a vacation in Malaysia from January 3rd to January 12th, 2025. We spent 3 nights at a 4* city hotel in Kuala Lumpur and 6 nights at the Park Royal in Langkawi. Park Royal has conquered with its level. We had a Premier Ocean View room on the 10th floor with a sea view. Fresh, I would say new, renovation; excellent equipment (there were even scales); a huge terrace and the room itself is huge in size; a unique bathroom with two sliding glass walls, a round bathtub, 2 sinks and high-quality care products. The hotel's territory is not large, but it has a huge swimming pool on the 1st floor and a pool for adults (from 18 years old) on the 5th floor. We constantly lay on the ground floor, because we were with the child and alternated it with swimming in the sea. I liked the fitness center - even if it wasn't very diverse, but all the basic things are there, the simulators are all in good condition (the tracks and ellipses are not snapped and without slippage). Service is an important aspect of any hotel. He's at his best here. There were 2 not very pleasant situations, which the hotel decided on a solid 5. It is clear that the staff is trying to help and solve the problem sincerely, not formally. I'll write about the food separately. We used the HB format (breakfast/dinner). This format has its own specifics in the hotel: breakfast is a buffet; dinner is a la carte (3 courses - appetizer/soup; second / main course and dessert). The dinner story was a surprise to us, as the tour operator did not inform us. But then we found a positive point - you won't overeat). In the last 2 p.m., the hotel made a royal gift - a dinner on the sandy beach with an emphasis on seafood. Here we couldn't restrain ourselves: lobsters, shrimps, langoustines, fried stingray, salad with jellyfish and salted watermelon, a lot of Asian yummy - just a feast of belly. The sea at the hotel is clean, the entrance is gentle, the sand is yellow and the composition is closer to Thailand than to the Maldives. We swam in the sea, but in the last 2 days we noticed a sufficient number of jellyfish on the shore and put a sign "danger, do not swim" at the hotel. I don't know if it's seasonal or because of the currents, but we didn't feel any bites, and this restriction didn't hurt. In conclusion, I would like to say that the feeling of a trip to Malaysia and the main emotions were caused by walking around authentic Kuala Lumpur and the Park Royal Hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you want guaranteed service in a new location.
