A beautiful place in the heart of the Fatih district, always crowded and noisy, a must-visit, is located between two mosques - Sultanahmet (Naked Mosque) and Ayasofiya (Former Orthodox Cathedral of St.Sofia). There is a huge fountain in the center, there are many benches to sit down, but there is not always a place, some are located right on the lawns. Beautiful lighting at night. There is a T1 tram stop nearby, many cafes and restaurants, a Basilica Cistern, a hammam, ice cream vendors, etc.shops with food and souvenirs. Gulhane Park is within walking distance. In one of the cafes, you can admire the dancing of dervishes daily (you can also watch it from the street). The photos here are extraordinary at any time of the day. Passage to both mosques is free, everyone can look in, subject to the dress code (those with inappropriate clothes are given shawls and skirts, you must take off your shoes), very often there are huge queues, but they move quickly.
