This is not the first time we visited the park of the First President in Almaty and were again delighted with its beauty and well-groomed appearance. A huge territory, many green spaces, sculptures and fountains create an atmosphere of comfort and harmony. It is a pity that the fountain does not work in autumn, which is usually illuminated in the evenings and plays music.
But we still reached the observation deck. It offers a stunning view of the city, and you can enjoy the panorama of Almaty. The playground itself and its surroundings are equipped with comfortable benches where you can relax and enjoy the views of the mountains and the city.

Wonderful, beautiful park, beautiful view of the mountains from the gazebo,fresh air, buns! There are playgrounds for small children. It didn't happen before, but now they sell coffee and ice cream! We often go there with our family, ideal for a picnic. There are also disadvantages to the lack of a restroom inside the park, so there is paper garbage under the bushes, etc. And the spontaneous sale of trinkets from the outside of the park, it's not beautiful.

This park used to be the best place in the city for walking and visiting by tourists. I was even proud of our city that such beauty was invented and made. Now the park is very tired. The most beautiful thing was repaired for several years, and the fountain along the perimeter in the central one does not work. It's not even painted. The green spaces themselves as a whole are neatly trimmed, watered and generally have a fairly healthy appearance. One of the disadvantages here is that it seems that in part of the garden the aphid has multiplied greatly and after some time of rest in the shade of a tree, the aphid will crawl over the vacationer. Unpleasant.
They let in a sooo picturesque stream. With ducks. It was a pleasure to walk there. But there are two rats living under the bridge, completely unashamed of anyone and nothing. They're big. They sometimes swim with the ducks and take their food away from them. And they also run through the ditches next to the playground. I truly love this park, but now I'm afraid to go there. I can't relax like I used to. I'm making sure these rats don't run out from somewhere. We probably won't go there yet.

I highly recommend everyone to visit this park!! The impressions are the most amazing!! Especially close to the observation deck with a gazebo!!
Of course, it's a long way to go, but it's worth it!! The mountains are all in front of you! There is not much to do with children there, just sit on the grass, walk along the alleys, there is no entertainment for children!! The fountain in front of the entrance is beautiful and there is a huge fountain at the entrance, but it only works in the evenings!! I didn't see him!!I recommend everyone to visit this large-scale park!!!

The park itself is green. In the asphalt. We can go for a walk. Inside, behind the fence, electric vehicles are driving in my opinion. It's certainly dangerous. What should I do? You decide for yourself.
My opinion is imho.
I am personally satisfied. Plastic bottled water is sold everywhere. Probably illegal. But you can drink to the edge.

A great place to walk or jog. There is an ascent and descent, ideal for runners 👌 1 lap of 4 km, there are many more tracks in the middle of the park. It's a pity you can't ride a bike there, the ban is in favor of pedestrians.

One of the best places of rest for Almaty residents, our city. There is everything here - shady alleys, sports and children's towns. Lots of colors. Lots of squirrels. Japanese garden, gazebo on a hill. Everything is clean and tidy.

The territory of the park is huge. I visit in the morning, I am glad that with the warming of the weather in the park in the morning there are more and more jogging people. Squirrels can also be found often, it's so nice. Thank you so much that there are different exercise machines and a tennis table in the upper side of the park every 50 meters. A great place to walk and relax with your family. The only request from the administrations is to consider the possibility of installing more swings on the playground (for kids) there is a constant queue, especially on warm evenings.

Great park! An endless amount of greenery, flowers, and various trees. And to do sports, and take a walk, and breathe, and various playgrounds for children (there are no attractions), and lie on the grass... And what kind of milakh squirrels are there)) Not afraid of people at all. Please, people, don't feed the squirrels with chips and corn!!!! It's ruinous for them!!! Take various nuts and seeds with you, but not fried ones! Ice cream, drinks, coffee, tea are sold on site. There is no cafe inside the park. In general, if you want to walk up, feed the squirrels and get some fresh air - Welcome!)))

The best park for walking!!!

I recommend it for a morning walk or jog. And also for picnics with children!
There are plenty of places to relax in the park, as well as playgrounds.
I'm shooting a star for non-working restrooms.
The restrooms only work at the exit!!! And it's not convenient when you're with the kids or when you're walking far from the main entrance.

But there are also disadvantages - this is that on the north-eastern side, along Askarov Street, there are burials, a cemetery smell is felt. Specialists probably need to conduct excavations to verify the facts of the burials. And the main disadvantage is that the park has a strange name - the former president. What he has to do with the park is unclear.

It's a pity that now there is not everything left: the beautiful fountain complex is no longer working and is slowly rusting and covered with dust.
But! If you have not been to this park, then you definitely need to visit it. And maybe it will become your favorite place to relax - beautiful alleys with benches, a pine square with charming squirrels, a playground and a sea of lawn where you can have a picnic, hiding from the heat of the city or just stretch out on your back and look at the sky, at the rustling leaves of trees, you can just wander and admire the sea of flowers.
There are toilets on site (not many and mostly near the entrances) . There are kiosks with ice cream, water and coffee.
For bloggers, a beautiful view of the mountains.

The park of the first president, my favorite park, clean air, a place where you can just walk, walk guests, walk with your significant other, there is a Japanese garden, a terrace overlooking the mountains and the city, there are 2 gym areas. And there is a treadmill around the perimeter (made of asphalt, it's true, but there's no competition there) in the summer, children's sports clubs are engaged there, I run myself.
