Terrible place, terrible hostel! I won't even wish it on the enemy! We went to Kiev as a team, there were ten of us. According to the rules, we booked the hostel by calling in advance. It so happened that I arrived first, two hours earlier, but by the time of the check-in. Since this was my first time in Kiev, I called and politely asked the receptionist how to get to the hostel from the metro, to which I received an almost screaming rebuke in response, "I do not know how many of you there will be, I do not know which room to check you in!" and the like. I once again politely asked for an answer to my question, because the reservation still won't run away, and I didn't really want to stay on the street, but I thought to myself, "Isn't it her problem that the administrator doesn't have the information that he just has to know." Anyway, I came. From the outside, the hostel looks pretty solid. I entered, an angry receptionist from under the lobby, sitting at the counter, greeted me with the following phrase "Did you call?", I replied, got excited, after which a small procedure followed with filling out a questionnaire and not a very pleasant dialogue on her part, but this is no longer relevant.
Of course, by that time I was a little surprised by this method of communication, but I didn't want to think about this topic for a long time. Then she didn't have any change, and of course, she ordered me to go to the store and change the money. Well, I trudged along in silence. Next, FIRE! When I arrived, she literally yelled at the guests downstairs, escorted me to the room with the words "Why are you so scared? Relax, you're already home." She said that there was no bed linen and would not be until the evening, the cleaner had not cleaned yet, etc. There's a guard in the room!!! Of the three sockets, two working ones are shaken to the limit, it is terribly cold, there is no hot water and they did not turn it on, garbage, wrappers, papers, crumbs on the floor - in short, complete chaos. Resigned to the fact that we would all have to spend the night in this poorhouse, I trudged into a dirty shower with ice water, Dried myself in an ice room and tried to get out of this miserable place as quickly as possible. And the most annoying thing was that before that we lived in the very center of Kiev in a much cheaper and a hundred times more cozy, clean and beautiful room. Unfortunately, for a number of reasons, we had to leave there. But I mean, the hostel I'm leaving a review about here is subscribed to the category of "the most fucked up", and not the cheapest at all. The second annoying thing is that he is quite cute and smartly equipped, BUT absolutely not well-groomed and neglected.
In short, late in the evening I met with the guys from my group, who told me that after polite questions about the temperature of the room, water, sockets, they were simply told "Don't like it - move out" they actually sent three letters, only in an administrative way! And in our room, the upper tiers of the bed were loosened as if they had been deliberately tried to break them before our arrival. I also wanted to go out to smoke on the porch before going to bed, but, alas, the door was already closed without warning And most of our group left to ride a limousine and hang out, and naturally no one consulted them, from how many to how many the hostel would be closed, and no one warned me. It was just, apparently, a bummer.
In short, the hostel is terrible, dirty, neglected, the administrators are boorish, it is not profitable for money, according to its location in Kiev - on the outskirts, in the vanyuchy district. So I strongly recommend avoiding this place and never mess with it. Because this situation didn't spoil the trip badly for me, but that's a completely different story ...)))
P.S. Sorry for the illiteracy if anything))
