Grew exhausted at your favourite fuggy gym? Here's the best place for running. The freshest air the city can possibly offer plus exact 4-km tarmac route with some 100-metre elevation gain/loss make it almost ideal for athletics. Go early morning or midday: evenings are crowded.
The park seems to be constantly closed. We travelled there twice, and both time they had some excuse to have it closed to general public. Very annoying, as it’s quite far from the centre
It's a very clean and nice park, it's very nice to go for a walk with the children, the view is beautiful, the fountains are also very beautiful, the scenery is just bright after this park, where there is also a walk, I advise everyone to take a walk in this park! But I want to say that it's a very bad rink. One stand costs 1000 tenge to rent, because children ride no more than 30 minutes. 🤯 There was also a situation where a child fell heavily and bumped very hard and could not get up 🤦 More than one employee did not come to help , but they were able to keep the parent away 🤦 What kind of skating rink I do not know 🤷 Do they want to kill the children 🤷
Greetings to you 🖐
The park is a great place to relax, quiet, fresh cool air, very beautiful view. There are bike paths, the park is generally monitored, benches and road surface are in good condition, there are playgrounds, small coffee shops for a snack. Parking is like everywhere else, you can't walk around, and parasites in the form of waistcoats sometimes come from the Alfarabi side.
A place where you can walk all day and not get bored. A huge, solemn fountain of incredible beauty. It's a pleasure to sit next to it and enjoy its coolness on a hot day. The pine forest deserves special praise. A lot of almost tame squirrels, pleases both children and adults. It is impossible to remain indifferent to these cute fuzzies. Feeding nuts by hand is a special pleasure. It is possible to sit in the shade of spreading trees, think, chat with friends at any end of the park.
A favorite place that has a lot to do with it. Coming back here again and again, you experience the same emotions. A large long park, for those who like to walk for a long time. A view rotunda, sculptures and a mini Japanese garden. There are a lot of people walking. Weddings, children. Photographers appeared offering to take photos against the background of the mountains. There is a fountain in front of the park entrance. There is coffee, ice cream and more in the park.
A universal park, suitable for everyone.
I recently visited the Park named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, and it was a great time! The park really impresses with its beauty and grandeur.
First, I walked under the arch, which is the entrance to the park, and immediately felt the atmosphere of solemnity and grandeur. The park turned out to be very spacious and green, with lots of trees, flower beds and flower arrangements. Walking along its alleys, I enjoyed the manicured lawns and the fresh air.
I especially remember the observation deck, which offers stunning views of the mountains. This is one of those places where you can just stand and enjoy the surrounding scenery, feeling calm and in harmony with nature.
I also noticed that the park has many areas for outdoor activities: running tracks, bike trails and playgrounds. This makes it a great place for a family vacation. I saw a lot of people who were doing sports, walking with children or having picnics. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed.
Overall, the visit to the park left me with extremely positive impressions. This is a wonderful place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoy nature and just spend time outdoors. I will definitely come back here again!
This is a place for outdoor recreation. Spacious alleys, manicured lawns and a large amount of greenery create an atmosphere of tranquility and comfort. There is an outdoor recreation area, playgrounds and picnic areas. It's nice to walk or arrange bike rides, enjoying nature right in the city.
It is a very large and beautiful park, entertaining with large trees, but otherwise a very interesting place. There are squirrels. There are many paths, a workout area and a playground. It is also interesting to note how to make a playground in the upper part of the park.
Probably the best park in the city. It is quite large because it accommodates a large number of people during festive events. Lots of coniferous trees. There is a playground, coffee stalls and squirrels. We regularly go with the children to feed the latter.
In general, the park is very good: a huge space, the fir trees are in very good condition, a lot of squirrels. The park offers a magnificent view of the mountains. But there are more disadvantages: pomposity, a claim to some kind of incomprehensible greatness, the idea itself smacks of politicization. Moreover, it is impossible to walk in the park in clear, sunny weather: there is no shade anywhere. Finally, the dominance of unruly and ill-mannered children discourages any desire to come there again at the end of the walk. Being in this park, you feel as if you are on a giant hard platform: something like in "Mega", "Grand Park" or "Forum". The same contingent.
A nice green park, trees of different types, benches, cafes have a couple of pieces, they sell various small things near the entrance, corn water, children's toys Went to see musical fountains, because it was written about it on the Internet, but it turned out the fountains have long been not musical. We just walked around the park, many fountains are not working at full capacity, but it's a pity.
A great place to relax. In the summer, feed the squirrels in the cool, sit on the grass, relax body and soul. And go ice skating in winter. By the New Year, beauty was made! Well done! But parking is always a problem!
A great place where you can just relax, walk, sit on benches in the shade of trees, enjoy gorgeous views of trees, flowers, lawns, beautiful glades. The only one who spoils the picture is the scooters..as a matter of fact, as everywhere else.
A lot of greenery, good air closer to the mountains, a good place for photos in the Japanese garden or upper gazebos,
A place for those who like to walk or run,
In a circle, the distance is about 4.5 km,
You can not walk with dogs and ride bicycles and scooters,
What is very strange is that parks all over the world exist for this very purpose
A nice, clean, tidy place to relax in nature. And you don't have to leave the city. There are a lot of trees, extremely clean air. The further you go into the park, the closer the mountains are, they directly overhang the park. At the end of the park there is a Rotunda with a great view of the city and the mountains.
This is a place for hanging out and health.
Good air.
You can find parking nearby. And it is useful to walk in the park, despite the presence of the Alfarabi highway nearby. In general, movement is a force. It's a good place.
A great place for walking, you can get there by public transport. The park is well maintained, clean, pleasant to walk. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the observation deck. I recommend a visit.
A very beautiful park. A wonderful fountain. The general appearance of the facade and the entrance to the park is impressive. Lots of greenery, trees. There is even a river with ducks. The monument of Nursultan Nazarbayev is interesting.
To be honest, I haven't been there for a long time. The place itself is very pleasant to relax, you can take a walk, sit on a bench and on a blanket on the lawn, it's very nice to be there, it's a pity you can't swim in fountains, I would be very happy in the heat of the most. I think we need to make a couple of free vacation spots
A gorgeous park! A huge territory, a lot of space, beautiful firs, pines, birches! And, of course, squirrels, pheasants! The view of the mountains is fascinating! The park is beautiful in autumn, it's great to see it in summer, when there are fountains and flowers...
Well, it is very well located.
There is Parking, it is always clean inside, there are good themed places, a lot of places for a photo shoot, inside there is a cafe where you can eat tea, coffee, ice cream, there are toilets, there are playgrounds for children, a lot of treadmills, a lot of greenery, squirrels, pheasants, ducks, too, all sorts of different birds.
It's not a shame to bring foreign guests.
In a word, I recommend it to everyone!!!
There is a large park, we often go for walks and jogging with the whole family. Fresh air, a large area of the park. Even when it's crowded, there's plenty of room for everyone! Security at the entrance to the park, just in case. I recommend you to visit
I recommend outdoor walks with children, beautiful, clean, greenery, everything is at your disposal!
Take a stroller, a bicycle, and go deep into the park, have fun.
The entrance itself is very beautiful both in the afternoon and in the evening when the lights are turned on, the views are gorgeous, but the huge disadvantage is that this year it seems to have been forgotten about! The playground is in terrible condition, the flower beds are not well maintained, the fantans did not work the 3 times we were there, and there is still nowhere to hide if it suddenly rains! There are no verandas with a roof, the cafe is very small, only 6-7 people can fit standing there! So the roads are broken in places! The park looked much better that year! In general, the rating is probably even overestimated only due to the stunningly beautiful view, in good weather 🙂
A great park for walking, relatively clean, but the vacationers themselves scatter this garbage on the lawns. They often ride electric scooters and mopeds, and there are a lot of small children walking on it, you need to control this moment.
He's even bigger than he was. As always, it is beautiful and spacious, you can run, which I like, you can just walk, you can have a picnic with your family or friends, sit on the grass and have a good time
A good place for a family walk. In the sweltering heat, this place is a salvation. At night, everything glows beautifully, there are many cafes with different types of cuisine nearby
The park was beautiful even in winter. The views of the mountains are amazing. The entrance to the new year is festively decorated. I liked the Japanese garden, rotunda, sculptures of horses and dogs
A very large and spacious park, full of greenery and the air here is different from the roads full of cars. We often walk with family and friends, there are several fast food outlets. It's a great place to go for a run.
Former orchards of the unique Aport apple variety. They were cut down in the 90s, built up with "elite" high-rise buildings that violated the eco-balance - the air from the mountains no longer blows through Almaty, the city is suffocating, and it is impossible to revive the apple. And when it was put on the table of the Secretaries General, it was sent as a rare diplomatic gift to the heads of state. The whole country was hunting for this huge, juicy, red, fragrant apple with a unique taste. He's not here. But Nazarbayev was able to buy back a small plot. The apples were not revived, but the park was laid out. Quite decent. Beautiful mountain views. An excellent artificial 12-m embankment with an observation deck and a gazebo at the top. The monument to the first president is somewhat shocking...But this is Asia, these are your cults. Fountains are interestingly illuminated in the evening. However, that's all. It's cooler here in the heat. The same air from the mountains!
The mountain air was filled with the smell of the needles of blue fir trees, and the green carpet of emerald grass perfectly provides us with rest among their branching paws...This Presidential Park, located in the center of Almaty, is amazingly clean, cozy and stately!
A very beautiful landscaped park. It is a pity that in September all the fountains were closed for repairs. Amazing view of the mountains from the observation deck! Sculptures of golden horses and dogs are good!
For fans, it's just a walk. Clean air, beautiful scenery. There is no place to have a snack in the park, only a coffee machine. In winter, there is an ice rink and a large Christmas tree.
A beautiful and cute park, I really like the square forest in the center, it's very cool to walk both in summer and winter. But the park feels very shabby, the feeling that they saved a lot on construction
You can take a walk, no more. Coffee to drink, ice cream to eat. It is forbidden not to ride bicycles. You can lie down on the grass, but there is no point in this, because it is very noisy. It is better to climb higher, right into the mountains. The place is clean, cleaning is done regularly.
Beautiful park. You can go for a walk with your family. The park is beautiful. It's really hard to find a peaceful place. Where you can be alone. Beautiful fountains and clubs
A large spacious park, you can ride, including bicycles. In 20 years it will be even better when the trees grow. It's a great idea to lay out parks, and not build up cities only with new residential complexes.
I went for a walk in the summer, everything is fine, the atmosphere, the clean air, the people, some take scooters, bicycles, roller skates and ride, everything is great!
