Gorky Park is an interesting place from the point of view of the history of the city of Mogilev. And if you consider it as a place of rest, it is better to choose another location. The paths are old, there are few benches, there is an observation deck, but there is no view from it. Trees cover the entire panorama of the city. The staircase that leads to Bykhovsky market is falling apart before our eyes. But, there is also good news. A project is currently being developed for the reconstruction of Gorky Park, which should make it an excellent place for citizens and guests of the city to relax. I hope we'll see everything soon!

A small and cozy park. Paths, benches, everything is as it should be. There is a mock-up of a castle that was once on this site. It's good at any time of the year.
But there is one drawback . The observation deck from the side of the church is practically not fenced! The descent is very steep. And the path runs almost along the edge. Dangerous and unpleasant. Moreover, there are a lot of visitors in the park.

The park itself is of the "average hand" level. It is visited by mothers with strollers, young people, dog walkers get together in a company of interests... I can't say that the church, built some years ago, was very necessary for the park. When it was laid, there were different opinions about its necessity. But it was built and it exists, and this only made the park smaller. In addition to all this, several huge trees were cut down in the park. The cut shows that they were healthy. And also ugly, traumatic, prehistoric steps on the descent to Chelyuskintsev Street. This is one of the disadvantages. Well, plus, there is a park after all, and that it is in the very center of the city.

Many complain that this park square is not landscaped, but I like it!! I love this place the way it is. Practically. There should be such a special park in the city, which at any time seems a little abandoned. Where leaves are not often removed in autumn and summer, there is no recreation infrastructure. Where a touch of nostalgia has been preserved and it is pleasant to walk in silence and sparsely populated.
Here you can feel the forgotten romance of loneliness, which I love so much, and the beauty of eternity!
The temple at the end of the park spoils the whole thing a little, but, alas, nothing can be done about it.

One of the most beautiful parks in Mogilev that I saw in a couple of days. It's just a little small and there's nothing but paths and a couple of benches. And the observation deck - everything is overgrown there and nothing is visible))) City administration, you either cut down the trees, or don't call it an observation deck))))
