It's a good place to sit and drink coffee. Not the highest prices for drinks, but not a huge selection either. The prices for desserts are reasonable, the food is delicious and fresh. The second floor is very quiet, I advise you to sit there. The coffee tastes like aspirin, the bitterness is pleasant. There are a lot of outlets, the lights are dimmed, the music is not loud. I love the Paragraph network, we often visit this institution in Brest, but a recent trip specifically to this branch left so-so impressions. The atmosphere is good, the staff is quite pleasant, but the food questions are big, cheesecakes with red fish are terrible, firstly it's just not tasty, secondly - 2 small pieces of fish? What is it? Okay, we also tried pancakes with fish - again it's not tasty, the pancakes themselves are somehow artificial.. Potato cake - specifically, the chemical taste remains ..Cherry-coffee punch is more or less. It's worth working on the menu, otherwise it's new - but how it was agreed upon is not clear.

A very cozy and pleasant cafe with an interesting interior. I often come there to work (WiFi is available) and drink coffee (there are a lot of people like me there) The baristas are always very polite and friendly!
P.s. I also recommend downloading the discount application, as points accumulate quickly and they can periodically cover part of the cost

I was in this place once passing through, I was very surprised by the exterior.
Everything is beautiful inside, cleaned, without bad smells, etc., in general, a pleasant place. The presence of a second floor adds charm to this place and it seems that the correspondence of the type of price and quality of service should be at the same level, but unfortunately that was not the case that day.
All the time while I was taking an order and waiting in line (probably 5 minutes), one of the baristas was chatting with her friend in raised tones with a frank obscenity. There would be no complaints if it were some kind of pub, but as I said earlier, in appearance and cost, the place is obviously not one of those, and such treatment next to customers is unacceptable.

My favorite place in the city.
Beautiful interior, always delicious coffee, cheesecakes, sandwiches.
You can get together in a big company.
There are different places to sit. There is a second floor and it is super cozy there. There is a sofa that resembles a place of Friends.
And in general, I like the Paragraph Cafe franchise. They keep the brand and authenticity.
I recommend.

An unusual atmospheric place, very suitable for dating or for those who like to sit in silence. It does not look like a youth or family (children do not look there :)), but after giving the children to the grandmother, you can safely go there for sincere conversations and delicious coffee. The prices are slightly higher than in other coffee shops, but they don't bite.

The coffee is delicious, the place is pleasant - very much so, but
they work from 8.30 (And the staff is late), i.e. you want to drink your coffee, but you can't even get to the cafe at 08:30. The neighbor has been working since eight.
- The staff does not smile at all and without any kind of greeting, does not look into the eyes, does not recommend anything and in general may not know. On my own mind, it's kind of cold.

I was unpleasantly surprised by this place, because I had heard about the high quality. In total, I spent more than 20 minutes buying coffee for takeaway, provided that there was 1 person in line with me, and it was Friday at 5 p.m. One girl was taking orders very slowly, the other was missing somewhere. When a lot of 5+ people gathered, she came, and it became a little faster. I probably ran out of order receipts, they decided to either memorize them or write them down manually. I had to say my order three times for the girl to understand it (coffee with syrup + cookies). But even repeating it three times didn't help make the coffee hot on the first try, so I had to wait for it to be redone. The coffee is not bad, but I can't say that the price is justified. The place is certainly beautiful inside, but unfortunately I don't want to return there after my experience.

The paragraph has one of the best interiors I know. Furniture with a history. Music. It allows you to immerse yourself in another world. This is not mass cooking. But there are some rough edges here, too. Still, I would like to receive drinks already sitting at a table, and not leave all my things. There are questions about the service. I'm probably wrong, but it always seemed to me that a coffee shop is not a restaurant where it's okay to wait for a waiter and cook dishes.
Maybe other good coffee shops have learned that coffee is a fast product. The interior is great!! But: we've been in for the umpteenth time, and it's empty - there was a treasured cheesecake in the window (last time), and a couple of pieces of kish, - it was very scarce (it was 3 p.m. on Saturday) - there's nothing to drink coffee with, i.e. I couldn't sit again - and the cafe is half empty!!!
We go down to the courtyard on Nemiga, Georgian restaurants - 2 pieces, Flax, Pirogova - showcases full of delicious food and people - there is a queue!!

Only when I asked the barista, he gave me a small piece of paper with prices. I was unpleasantly surprised that the order had to be picked up on the spot. We had to go down from the 2nd floor, since a large table was reserved at the bottom near the barista's counter, 3-4 visitors were still sitting, and there were only empty tables near the toilet, the door of which was wide open. The second time was less successful. We took coffee to take away. Again, a long preparation, cappuccino for 2/10, bitter, tasteless. The cherry on the cake is a glass filled with only 80%.
I understand, the economy, everything is fine. But if I pay the full cost of the drink, I would like to receive a full glass.

Coffee is always on top, the only thing you can find fault with is the price for a cup of cappuccino - 6.9 for a double, the average for competitors is 6, I think. A special treat is a peanut cheesecake. Delicate, caramel gives a light shade along with nut crumbs, the sandy base crunches in the mouth and elegantly mixes the taste of brownies. They cleared the table themselves, wiped it with antiseptic, moved the dishes to the next table, which was already occupied by dirty dishes. We ordered cakes with decoction. There were no questions about the order. The drink is delicious, and so are the desserts. The only thing that was confusing was that people were leaving, and the dishes continued to stand on the tables, new visitors simply did not have a place to sit. We stayed there for about an hour, just as the rain stopped… Leaving, we noticed an indecent amount of dirty dishes and the staff, sweetly discussing something of their own in a dirty establishment.
The desire to return, even for delicious desserts, is not there.
