I am editing the review for the third time. At first I gave it five stars, because it was very tasty. I ordered a total of 6 times from there, several times in addition they took it at the point. In general, what at first seemed like a random joint has returned to normal. Not only that, when handing over the order for delivery, they screwed up twice (they brought one shawarma instead of two), but the quality fell below the baseboard. The layer of lavash is huge, it is impossible to gnaw through it. And the meat became just breadcrumbs. All the last times I ordered, it was like this. Either the first time there was a different cook, or the technology has changed, but now it's just impossible to eat. Oh, well, French fries are just a disgrace, don't take them, sluggish, poorly seasoned.
A magnificent St. Petersburg shawarma, a piece of his hometown in a distant country.
The sauce is very cool, the meat is delicious, the vegetables are fresh and crispy. You can also have fun chatting with the chefs. In general, 10/10
The shawarma contains bones and cartilage, almost broke his teeth, money is not returned for a dish that at least poses a danger to the consumer, they believe that this is in the order of things !!!
If the cook is so negligent about his work, then very soon another client of this "RESTAURANT" will collect money for treatment
An absolute disappointment. I ordered delivery after hearing positive feedback earlier. "Shawarma on a plate." The only thing that was St. Petersburg in it was, perhaps, the sauce and then with a huge stretch. Of the fillers, only fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, literally cut into 4-5 giant pieces, fresh non-pickled onions, as in an ordinary Armenian kebab for 700 rubles, some French fries of mediocre quality, undercooked meat, a small portion. For 4000 drams, it's just a disgrace, given the name of the institution - a complete disrespect. It feels like the owners and quality controllers have never been to St. Petersburg at all and have not tried at least a basic shawarma on a plate from any Russian city.
A hint for the future: in a shawarma on a plate there should be: fresh cucumbers, fresh tomatoes, pickled cucumbers, fresh cabbage, Korean carrots, blue cabbage, blue onions marinated in marinade, hot pepper, preferably jalapeno, finely chopped greens, garlic liquid sauce prepared according to a special recipe, with all the necessary spices, French fries, preferably rustic, normally salted and spiced. All this should be very finely chopped and properly laid so that a person can mix it himself the way he likes. This is its essence. And the fried bun is soft inside, but firm and crispy on the outside, or better yet, pita. Therefore, it costs 2 times more than in pita bread, and not because you just put everything in plastic for 50 dollars.
Rename the place and cook there at least a bald devil in pesto sauce, but as long as you call it St. Petersburg shawarma, you will receive such reviews. Most of all, I am shocked by the positive reviews about this place and how quickly the authors forgot what a shawarma is
Very very tasty, I would put 5 stars for it. But the problem was that the workers were wearing gloves and using the phone, touched the bills of money and did not change the glove and continue cooking again. The tiniest thing is that when I saw that my shawarma was wrapped by a cashier and without gloves. I took it but didn't eat it this time. I didn't want to at all. It was disgusting. And another big disadvantage is the prices. Well, it's very expensive, honestly shawarma is fast food, it shouldn't cost so much.
The shawarma is delicious, I couldn't find a better one in Yerevan. French fries are generally the top 1 of all that I have ever tasted. On the downside, there are no drinks at all.I read the reviews, St. Petersburg write that it is tastier and better in St. Petersburg...but, I was in St. Petersburg, I haven't tried a single decent shawarma there in a month of my life. There are better places in Moscow, but that's bullshit in St. Petersburg) People are just used to what they've been eating for years.
The sauce is similar to St. Petersburg, but it costs less garlic to put in it and it will be super. There are enough vegetables — it's great. The consistency of the shawarma, the distribution of ingredients is good. Meat and sauce are placed on top, so as not to eat one pita bread at the first bite. BUT half of the meat is overcooked and tastes like charcoal. The master says that they allegedly took this recipe from St. Petersburg. In 24 years of living in St. Petersburg, this has never been the norm.
If you reduce the amount of garlic and make normal juicy meat, then you will have queues. My first couple of bites were with good meat and I remembered what it was like to eat a shawarma in St. Petersburg, which I am unlikely to see someday. Friends, fix it. You don't have much left to do to become popular in Yerevan among St. Petersburg residents.
A good shava, I like it, but unstable. Sometimes they make a good, juicy one, sometimes the pieces of chicken are just dripping dry, as if they were specially chewed like bacon until it crunches. I don't know if it's the master, because I order by delivery
Upd: now the chicken is always incredibly dry. Maybe the cook cuts off a thin layer or everything is overcooked. It's a pity, because the sauce is great
I grew up in St. Petersburg and I can say that I have tried a lot of different shawarma. After seeing such a name, I hoped that I would finally be able to feel the same taste. Unfortunately, this did not happen. The sauce is not the same at all, the chicken is overcooked, cold. The cook also added sauce on top of the already rolled shawarma. They never do that in St. Petersburg. If it weren't for the name, I wouldn't find fault with it, but since they called themselves the front door, be kind enough to cook shawarma, not shawarma.
The shawarma with garlic sauce is delicious and large. Even the standard size is enough for me to eat. The balance of meat and vegetables is good. For the similarity of the St. Petersburg shawarma, there is still not enough cheese pita bread and additional ingredients to choose from.
I have questions about hygiene. Everything is done by hands without gloves, without processing... Here the cook cooks, in the process takes the phone out of his pocket, puts it back, returns to cooking. Before that, I took the money, counted, stood smoking next to it. He never washed his hands in front of me or treated them with anything. And with these hands he wraps the shawarma, then pulls it out of the grill and gives it to me to eat.. It's unpleasant, I won't come back.
Absolutely not worth attention, for 4000 drams you will get the most ordinary shawarma on a plate, where there will be more cartilage than meat. The garlic sauce is too salty.
Great shawarma and nuggets. I don't know how it is in St. Petersburg, but the food is excellent in Yerevan :) It is better to eat right on the spot, because it has time to cool down in the delivery. We ate when there was no queue, we cooked quickly. Good luck to the guys!
I will not give a low rating, since in general it is not a pity to spend money, but in general they write the truth in negative reviews, the sauce is sad has nothing to do with St. Petersburg, inside it is cold just like in St. Petersburg, but it tastes like shava according to the first recipe in Google, with St. Petersburg shawarma nothing to do, for five dollars we get a very average shava, it will not inspire you, the meat is like a chicken first cooked and then fried.
Well, it's edible, but I threw out half of the little shawarma.
Cold meat with a limp cucumber in hot pita bread. Taste... The strangest one is something between an upset stomach and poisoning. A guy and a girl without gloves are working at the point.
On the plus side: the employees themselves are pleasant.
Shaverma top, as in St. Petersburg close to "vlavasha" in Yerevan there is no more shaverma as in Russia, so if you miss your native tastes, then here.
I wish the guys to offer the following additional things:
- cheese pita bread
- serfdom
- drinks at least juice, morse
A wonderful shawarma, all the disadvantages of the Armenian shawarma were excluded - the sharpest pepper, dried tasteless meat and thick pita bread. There is none of this here: the meat is perfectly marinated and fried, fresh vegetables and delicious garlic sauce are added. And even in order not to chew the first minutes of pita bread, the guys put a piece of meat with sauce on top - a brilliant idea! Undoubtedly, the best shawarma in Yerevan
The awl is complete. As they say - cartilage and bones in meat. Some of the meat was dry. The meat was generally bitter at the bottom. I tried, I fell for it - I regret it.
Excellent shawarma, the taste of which has already been missed) Delicious meat, fresh vegetables, delicious garlic sauce (not ketchup)
I recommend it to everyone
There are not enough drinks
The idea is super, the target works, the execution is for two, there is no white garlic sauce (there is no sauce in the shawarma), we waited 20 minutes for the usual Armenian shawarma. Packaging, packages are all cool, but the cook does not know how to cook, and this is the most important thing. Who ate shavu in St. Petersburg will understand the huge difference.
The shawarma is delicious, the vegetables are good, the chicken and the sauce too, but there is too much pita bread. It's really hard to chew from the sides. This needs to be finalized, so 4)
And the craft package is top! 🔥
upd. We took a shawarma today (26.11), the issue with lavash was solved, now it's perfect 👍
Very tasty shawarma, garlic sauce that you need, fresh vegetables and delicious chicken. If you miss the St. Petersburg shawarma, then this is it. I hope the choice will expand :)
Garlic white sauce, good filling, but...
The sauce is too garlicky, the tin is simple (although I really like garlic). The meat is not salty to my taste:(
Very tasty shawarma, really similar to St. Petersburg. I would like garlic to be added directly to the sauce itself☺️
Someone wrote that there was too much lavash, but in my shawarma it was just right))) and it went so well, easily ☺️
It's like I ate a whole garlic, why is there so much of it?. Nothing feels but garlic!. It is impossible to eat. For such a price, such a shawarma?. I'm shocked!. It doesn't cost that much money…
As a Petersburger, I was really looking forward to the appearance of such a place! the guys got exactly that shawarma from childhood! I recommend it to everyone who missed this taste
Simple, but God, how delicious! Thanks for the shawarma without fries. I wish success and further development to the guys

Upset by the combination of expectation and reality
So, for 5,600 for two, we wrapped pita bread with overcooked meat, half of which had to be spat out. Guys, it doesn't even chew, there is so much dough: (
The shawarma needs to be twisted so that due to the density of the twist, the sauce and vegetables impregnate the pita bread, and do not flow through the bottom staining clothes with fat.
There are no complaints about the sauce, it's delicious.
We have been waiting for a very long time to meet this place, it turned out in vain 💔
We will not return
Top shava. A great sauce that reminds of those times 10 years ago, when you fall out of a barewich at 3 a.m. and you come across this garlic kryptonite.
A real St. Petersburg shawarma - without potatoes and jalapeno peppers. Very tasty

We were in a hurry, we came at 22:50, in ten minutes you can easily roll two shawarma.
The guys already had everything wrapped up. We received a polite reply to come back next time. I think it's piggish.
Well, you write at 22:30 and everyone will be happy.
