Rooms and bungalows (I compared 3 types of rooms, because we looked, we chose there on the spot with an additional fee)- everyone is sooo tired, repairs are required. But all this is compensated by the attitude of the staff, a chic restaurant, a wonderful chef who always talks at lunch and dinner in the restaurant, who is always in touch. The restaurant is clean. In the morning, there is always a strawberry smoothie, mango and guava for breakfast. Gorgeous view of the lagoon, a great beach on the sea (clocked 4 min. on the shuttle), again, the staff there is wonderful. Russian Russian is not spoken at the reception, the rest of the staff, including the guard at the barrier, understand and try to speak Russian, while they are very friendly (with their s/n if translated into ours at 8,000-12,000 rubles) There is a place to walk, go to the old town, too, the beauty is extraordinary. This is not the Egypt that we used to see, this is a different world in El Gouna.
Atmospheric, the standard rooms are tired. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent! A boat takes you to the beach, this has its own appeal, walking 10 minutes at a slow pace. In the evening, there is a place to go (a city with shops and cafes, a port)

We stayed at this hotel from November 23rd to December 6th. We were here 16 years ago. The hotel has grown and got prettier. Some rooms are old, but sound. The contingent is generally elderly. The Germans, the British. There are few of us. Because of the poor animation, it was a little boring this time. Especially if the weather hasn't happened. There are two lazy pretzels in the animation. They come at 12, they will do stretching, they will take out a target for the gift. And then you can only see them in the evening in the lobby of the hotel. Where they will feign fun. It's strange that no one controls them. In general, if you can entertain yourself, everything is on the level. The kitchen is very good. There are plenty to choose from. The staff is friendly. It's better than it was 16 years ago.
A boat goes to the island by the sea every hour. The sea is shallow. But this is true in many places.
Well, our impression remained very good. In general, I recommend it.
A wonderful foursome in every way. The food is great for Egypt, the area is green, the pools, although not very large, the rooms are mostly new. I'm here for the 4th time and I'll come again! I like windsurfing, and here (~ 1.5-2 km) from the shore there is a great lagoon with white sand, 1-2 meters deep with corals and fish. There is a pier 300-350 meters on the beach, there are corals there too. A free boat runs from the hotel to the beach (Zeitoun Island) every hour, a 10-minute walk to the beach on the territory of the cottages. The guard is very good-natured, he has been working here for more than 6 years and thanks to me, he knows in Russian: "Bye bye." He says this after and waves his hand)) However, in his performance it sounds like: "Baka baka". Upon check-in, you can give 20 dollars and you will be quickly taken to your room. I didn't pay and on the second day I asked for a better room - they moved me without any problems. The main thing is not to quarrel with anyone. When we arrived here again, red bracelets were hung on our hands, which told the hotel staff about a regular guest. Even though we turned over the bracelets, the staff still remembered us. They are all very friendly and good-natured here. El Gouna is a different Egypt. There are no molesters in the shops with the phrases: "Buy, buy." A local millionaire, who made a fortune in recycling, visited all of Europe, and he really liked Venice. He decided to dig something similar in his homeland. That's how El Gouna appeared.
The hotel is super. It is an oasis in the middle of the desert. Now only to this resort. Neither charm nor Hurghada are nearby. The food is at the highest level.
A slightly shabby hotel, but without the akhtungs... Everything is clear at the reception... Responsive ... Food ...... breakfasts are so three for me.... Nice view... The ghost's gaze rests on the channels.... But stock up with fumigators if there is no wind. It's creepy with mosquitoes
I love this hotel. Homely, intimate, cozy. Everything you need is there, including delivery services from the shops of the down town. Zeitoun beach and on the canal. I recommend it!
The best combination of "price-quality" in El Gouna, compared to previous visits, the quality of food has increased significantly, the location is one of the best, close to Downtown, the staff is normal for a decent Egyptian hotel.
The town of El Gouna is an Egyptian Venice. A wonderful hotel, book bungalow rooms with a balcony overlooking the lagoon, you will have your own exit from the room into the water.
