It was installed in 1973 and is a bust of Sokolovsky Vasily Danilovich on a high pedestal. The sculptor of the monument is Gennady Muromtsev, the architect is Valmen Aladov. The material is bronze and granite. The height of the bust is 1.55 meters, the height of the pedestal is 3.7 meters. Vasily Danilovich Sokolovsky July 9 (21), 1897, Kozliki village, Bialystok district, Grodno province, Russian Empire. Soviet military commander, Marshal of the Soviet Union (July 3, 1946), Hero of the Soviet Union (05/29/1945). Member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (1952-1961). He died on May 10, 1968. The urn with the ashes is located in the necropolis near the Kremlin Wall on Red Square in Moscow.
