The statue located in front of the Ethnography Museum and made by an Italian Sculptor is incredibly beautiful. It was built by Pietro Canonica in 1927. According to Sunay Akin's research, the construction of the Taksim Republic Monument was planned to be paid in 6 installments, but it was not completed because he could not collect the last installment.
