The monument to the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin in Tashkent was made by sculptor Mikhail Konstantinovich Anikushin, opened on June 6, 1974. The creation of the monument was timed to coincide with the 175th anniversary of Alexander Sergeevich. The monument was originally erected on Pushkin Street in a small square, but in 2015 it was restored and moved to the square, renamed in honor of the poet. A very beautiful place: green, fountain, benches, ideal for a walk or a meeting.
