Beach: cool beach 22 km, not many people, gently sloping - ideal for children, without stones, palm trees and a few sun beds with an umbrella are located along the entire beach, you can always hide from the heat in the shade of palm trees, it helps a lot.
Swimming pool: there are two pools, one small, children's warm, and a large, unheated one, it was quite cool in December. But there is a liquor store near it, beer from 5 yuan, coconut 10 yuan. There is a seafood cafe nearby.
Rooms : we lived in 63 bungalows, looked at 2 rooms on the first and second floor. The rooms on the ground floor are bigger and the terrace is bigger. A narrow claustrophobic staircase leads to the second floor and the rooms are smaller. The condition of the rooms is about the same for three, once it was normal, but now it's tired. The room is cleaned every day, towels are changed every day, there is a kettle and tea, flip flops, old bathrobes, soap and soap accessories.
Breakfast: from 7 a.m. to 13 p.m., not to say wow, but in principle there is always something to eat at any time, even in the morning at 12, fruits of a couple of types, porridges, dumplings, noodles, vegetables, etc.
Dinner: there are dinners for money, 138 yuan per person, some of the breakfast dishes, some of the new ones, fine in principle, but too expensive, you can have a threesome in a cafe on the street for 200 yuan. There is such an option as a "trial dinner" at resppshen, say that you need it and go to dinner for free in the evening. Beer is included in the dinner, there is no restriction.
The hotel is located almost at the end of Sanya Bay, there is a minimum of entertainment around the hotel, if you need movement, it is better to choose hotels in Dadonghai. It takes 30-50 minutes by bus from this hotel to Dodonghai (depending on traffic jams). The 125 bus (2 yuan per person) goes to the beginning of Dadonghai Bay and, in principle, you can safely take it, but if you want to get to the center of Dodonghai, then first the 125 bus and at the Howard Johnson hotel you need to transfer to the 108 bus (goes to Pineapple). According to the meter, a taxi costs 11 yuan to board and then 2.5 yuan per kilometer.
There is a free World's Edge park next to the hotel, a relatively small Chinese-sized park, and you don't have to take a car inside (25 yuan). You just show your passports and they give you tickets. It takes 15 minutes to get there by 125 bus. By the way, the Deer Turned Its Head Park is also free, but it's better to take a car there, go far uphill.
Alcohol : the hotel has a shop and a shop near the bar, the prices are about the same 5-10 yuan beer and vodka. The beer sucks, and it doesn't really depend on the price tag. There is more or less beer on tap at the pool cafe. I don't really drink beer, and there's practically no wine there. I was saved by coconut vodka mixed in coconut, 1 bottle (150ml) is poured into coconut and a decent cocktail is obtained.
In general, the hotel is not bad, very green area, located near the airport, there is a place to eat nearby, but not much, the staff is adequate.

Hotel Palm Beach Resort And Spa 4*, the territory is beautiful, well maintained. I would especially like to note the excellent attitude of our guide Valera. Valera made the selection of excursions and their organization professionally and very convenient for us. Valera warned us in advance, in case of a change in the departure time for the tour. It was mostly because of the weather. Valera, it should be noted, speaks and writes Russian well, which gives a complete understanding between the representative of the host country and us tourists. I am currently staying at this hotel. The service is terrible! Of the good things, the hotel has only the territory, everything else leaves much to be desired!
Upon arrival, an early check-in was paid, they settled in a room with a view of the wall, the conde was asked to change the room to another building, they stubbornly began to give a room in the same building, and then answering this is your problem and not ours, they stopped noticing at all. Wait 15 hours - instead of coming to settle down and sleep , it was already paid in advance , I had to stand and find out for more than two hours .
This is not the end of all the delights of the service - until you ask and not what you ask but demand, nothing is done in this hotel! Tea that is put in the room every day is brought only after repeated treatment! They asked to give you a sheet because it 's hot at night , to which the answer was received , you have a towel that they can't close .
The guide, who should be available and solve the tourist's questions, responds to the SMS sent two hours later.
At the reception, Konda was asked to arrange a transfer to the restaurant, they said wait, and then after 30 minutes it turned out that they did not know the phone number.
I hung up a sign asking to clean the room before lunch, I came to the room in the evening, the sign is still hanging on the door!

A very good hotel, I did not like the first room that was behind the road (there was a scratched mirror and it was not wiped and the air conditioner was buzzing very much).
The second room was just a fire, the maid came in every day and did the cleaning. The only thing that remains a mystery to me is where the ants come from.
The staff is great, humorous and helpful. The food there is also varied and delicious.
I also didn't really like the ATM (it's very old, and the English version doesn't work well there)

Sand fleas!!! As it turns out, no one warns about this, neither the guides nor the hotel . You can't lie on the sand, only in the sea or near the pool. Unless they tell you about it. They need to have more tourists and bring money . The attitude is terrible!!! The beds are very hard, I asked for a mattress, they offered a blanket. It was tough anyway. When they gave me a temporary room at an early check - in and it cost 300 yuan . They gave the most terrible one , near the bar and the window facing the road . It was very noisy . I want to say separately about the guide, when they meet at the airport, they introduce you to information about the hotel. She told us about breakfast that it was until 11 a.m., in fact it was until 13.30. At lunch, the choice is much more diverse .
We took an excursion from the Biblio - Globus-A romantic dinner for 490 yuan , I advise you not to spend money , it 's not worth it . They described everything so beautifully to us that there would be a show , the Dussel Circus was resting . The hotel is old, located in the middle of the bay. If you like city life, from here you can only take a taxi to the shops and parks. It's a bit far to walk along the embankment. The sea is across the street. But if you want to get treatment, then this is a hotel with its own clinic. The guides are responsive and very attentive. A huge disadvantage is that they do not check in on arrival. We arrived at the hotel around 5 a.m. we were not checked in even for an additional fee. We waited until 9:00 a.m. and then only when the guide came and agreed.

Hello! We stayed at this hotel in August 2024 and were completely delighted. The hotel is just wonderful! Its territory is surrounded by greenery, which creates an amazing atmosphere. The pools meet all expectations. Upon arrival, we made a $100 deposit, which was refunded to us upon check-out.
The sea was clean and warm — just a fairy tale! We took excursions on the beach from Sasha and Chin Dong much cheaper than from hotel guides. Moreover, it is very convenient, since they offer individual transport for small groups (up to 7 people). If you book excursions from guides at the hotel, the prices will be sky-high, transport is provided in the form of buses, tourists are collected from different hotels.
We went for a massage to a military hospital, also from these guys (they will take you and bring you back for free).
In a military hospital, massage is done much better than in a hotel.
In general, Sasha and Chin Dong are very decent young people, they speak Russian and are always ready to help with any questions, whether it's buying fruits at home, souvenirs or visiting a pharmacy. We were very satisfied with our stay!

I would also like to mention the guides, Sasha and Yana (the ones in blue/white T-shirts, I don't remember the operator). They always helped, prompted and wrote bus stops, helped to change money, transferred to the reception and in general, they are very determined to help. At the same time, it does not feel like they want to get money out of you.

We had a rest with my husband at the hotel from 7-21.06.2024. The hotel is wonderful, and despite the fact that someone writes that the hotel is old and dirty, I categorically disagree! Upon arrival – we were met at the reception, registered, made a deposit of $ 100 (given upon check–out) - CHECK IMMEDIATELY UPON CHECK-IN FOR BREAKDOWNS, so that there would be no problems later upon check-out, and brought with suitcases on a small golf cart to the room, brought all the suitcases. There is an area with a main 5-storey hotel and nearby an area with a huge green area, a swimming pool with one slide for children and many 3-storey 3-entrance houses. The rooms are clean (YES, maybe someone will say that they are old, BUT this in no way changes the picture) – a double bed, or rather a bed for five))), disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste are changed every day, a hair comb, soap, a hair cap – every day change, shower and body gel is very pleasant, towels are changed almost every day – even if you don't ask for it (both for the face – there are two of them, and for the shower, legs and beach), room and toilet cleaning with shower is wet every day, tea bags every day and bottled water 0.6 liters each – SO IT'S WORTH PAYING TRIBUTE TO THE CHINESE – EVERYTHING IS ON THE LEVEL!!!
The pool on the territory is very clean – bathing until 22:00 is allowed, after every evening cleaning the pool with bleach and draining dirty water. Few hotels can boast of such a service....
The sea is .....warm, clean, sand – not a single stone, entrance without drops, waves…There are sun beds with umbrellas on the beach, where there has always been a place – some write that it is necessary to occupy almost 6 in the morning – NONSENSE!! – there were always free sun beds in the shade of palm trees)).
Food – they write meager – DO NOT BELIEVE IT – we had more than enough to eat and overeat – we took only breakfast, as we purposefully went to try the local colorful food. You can also order dinner at the hotel (for 1 person – 108 yuan for 1 dinner). Breakfast is from 7:30-13:30 – we always went to 12, and we advise everyone – then there is an opportunity to have breakfast and lunch with delicious red soup from a local chef… At breakfast there were spaghetti, noodles, rice of various cooking methods, vegetables with or without meat in different spices, corn, porridge, tomatoes, cucumbers, abalone, jelly, toasts, delicious yogurt as a dressing for cereals and air rice, sauces, fruits (oranges, dragon fruit, melon, watermelon ...), various juices, sprite, cola, teas , coffee , milk….There is a variety and there is something to choose for every taste!
As for the accompaniment from the guides – in our case, it was Sonya and Denis – my advice is not to see each other on their excursions and offers. VERY EXPENSIVE AND UNREASONABLE!! Just buying a SIM card from them cost something – 150 yuan for 50 GB (overpayment 3 times) – and it stopped working after 5 days of stay (with my use of mostly hotel Wi-Fi), and when you are outside the hotel and you don't have Internet and you can't Chinese to explain what and how (they practically do not recognize English) is SUCH A PLEASURE! As it turned out, we were given a card that had already been used 3 times before, for sure, and we just ran out of traffic!! What I advise you to take through a hotel guide is a sightseeing tour – IT's FREE – you will be taken to a shark farm, to the center of Tibetan medicine, a pearl and silk factory, to a tea ceremony and a snake farm, and just right away +- get acquainted with the city, where and what is located ... BUT I DO NOT ADVISE YOU TO BUY ANYTHING ON THIS EXCURSIONS – THE CHEAT is VERY BIG!!
On the beach we met with a local guide – SASHA)) – I recommend everyone to contact him about excursions, souvenirs (Alexey Ivanovich's shop – teas, magnets, alcohol, ointments ....) and SIM cards (50 yuan the cost of everything!!) – Sasha, I am absolutely not interested in selling tourists for money, like the hotel guides. He will advise profitable excursions, which are better to go with him (you will be accompanied by a Russian–speaking driver Ivan - and wait everywhere while you visit this or that place), and where it is better not to spend money with him, but to get by bus yourself. We took an excursion to monkey island through Sasha with a funicular ride (I ADVISE EVERYONE – THE VIEW IS JUST A BOMB!!) and a visit to the thermal springs – it's impossible to get there ourselves – more than 60 km from the hotel outside the city, the cost was 350 yuan per person, that is, we got $ 100 for two for visiting two places at once (the guides had to pay about 600 yuan per person for this alone... that's the obvious difference). I also advise you to take Sasha on an excursion to the rainforest and romantic park, everyone was very praised! There is also an opportunity to ride a yacht – 1200 yuan for 10 people (that is, 120 per person) from the hotel guide – the same conditions – 4000 yuan…SO DECIDE FOR YOURSELF....

I do not recommend coming here with children, every day will be like a quest to feed them. The sea is across the street, the beach is gorgeous. There is only a seafood cafe nearby. Everything else is far away, by taxi or bus 40 minutes!

They took what was offered, lived in the garden in separate buildings. closer to the pool and the beach. The rooms are quite spacious, with a balcony (if it is 2-3 floors) or with access to the terrace. The area is covered with flowers, palm trees and lawns. Clean, well maintained. Swimming pool with sun beds. We went to the beach to swim in the sea and returned to the pool. I was very surprised that the staff does not speak either Russian or English. But at the same time, the Russian-speaking guide is at the reception from 8.00 to 18.00 almost always. All issues were resolved through him. The food was good. We are not picky, we had enough variety of dishes. There has always been a choice and meat is different, chicken. duck. fish, shrimp, scallops, fresh and steamed vegetables. Watermelon is made from fruits. melon, oranges. Bottled beer for dinner. as much as you want. We didn't take everything inclusive, only breakfast and dinner, but it was enough without lunch, we just bought fruits from the locals for a snack. The shopping malls were within walking distance on the same street as the main building. There is also local food, street restaurants with a large selection of seafood and other dishes. Excursions at the hotel are very expensive. You can find it twice as cheap from the locals. Although the guide scared us that it was punishable, prohibited by law, etc. on the way to the beach, the locals offered services. for example, take them to a souvenir shop. to the shark farm, where everything is also 2-3 times cheaper than the guide took us on a sightseeing tour of the city with a visit to the tea ceremony, shark farm and Thai medicine center. At the pharmacy at the end of the street, where we went to buy fruits, it was called "Andrey's" the same balms. Dietary supplements were much cheaper. Plus, the owner of the pharmacy, Andrey, knows Russian well and told me a lot of things and helped me buy them. In general, we were satisfied with the rest and the hotel.
