A cozy place with an authentic atmosphere, where you can feel the spirit of Abkhazian hospitality. The restaurant is located in a picturesque location surrounded by greenery, which makes it an excellent choice for relaxing with family or friends.
Kitchen:
The menu was pleased with the variety of traditional dishes:
- Meat on the grill is juicy, with a rich taste and aroma of smoke.
- Abkhazian cheeses and khachapuri are fresh, with a perfect combination of dough and filling.
- The vegetables and herbs are obviously local, very fresh.
- Wine and chacha are a great addition to a meal.
Service:
The staff is friendly and attentive, but there may be a slight delay during the rush hours. The portions are generous, which compensates for the prices (they are average or slightly above average here).
Atmosphere:
The design is in the style of an Abkhazian courtyard – wooden tables, wicker furniture, vines. There is a summer terrace where it is especially pleasant to sit in warm weather.
Minuses:
- Sometimes there is a long wait for meals on weekends.
- Parking is not always convenient with a large number of guests.
Bottom line:
"Father's Yard" is a great place to taste authentic Abkhaz cuisine in an authentic setting. I recommend it for those who want a relaxing holiday with delicious food.
It's a beautiful place. Clean, cozy, friendly staff. Good music is playing. The food is delicious, the portions are decent. The price tag is also acceptable. I recommend it, it's a very good place.
The food seems delicious. But there is no service..sometimes it seems that the waitresses are all the mistresses there and they are doing us a favor. And so it is from year to year- they do not change (( Music either does not play or screams at events...There is no background music and you can constantly hear shouts from the kitchen and loud conversations between waiters and cooks. Corporate party service is always a priority and you can sit and wait in line for a long time. We went for food for a couple of years, and now we started going to apatskha on the highway closer to Gudauta, where we are always happy to see you and they feed you deliciously.
