The place is fascinating, the river flows right out of the rock and the cut-down cells of the monastery are visible high up!!! For fish lovers, the trout here is incomparable!!!
It's a magical place! It is worth a visit, there used to be a trout farm on the territory, now there is not, it may have been closed for repairs. The paths were landscaped, railings and fences were made, it became much safer than 5 years ago
It can only be seen from the observation deck of the fishery. It is impossible to get close to him, only by helicopter. He's right on the cliff. Or rather, what's left of it. Several windows and a wall...
Trout farm Chernorechenskoye
The most beautiful place in Abkhazia, here you will find "bread and circuses" :
- Fishing
-Cafe
-The Rock Monastery
- An old manor house
- Relict forest
We went at the end of May, we were alone, without a crowd of tourists, it was quiet, calm, sincere ...
Many complain that they charge 100 rubles for parking...Well, don't you feel sorry for this filthy hundred?! For such beauty? And it's right that they take, in such an economy, every penny counts, try to keep it all!
A strange sight. Stand at the bottom and stare at the holes in the rock. But once it was something incredible. I wish I could get there. There is beautiful nature around and the underground river is very beautiful
It's a very beautiful place. It is not difficult to walk even for a child. There is also a cave at the end of the path. I advise you to visit if you are passing by. You can get there by a regular car. The road is not broken.

A great place for privacy with nature. I highly recommend you to visit if you like peace and quiet)) (well, when we went, no one was there)
You can't get to the monastery, but there is a very beautiful beginning of the river below. The views are gorgeous.
There is a trout farm nearby from Soviet times, I recommend trying fish there - they will cook you delicious!
A very beautiful gorge, with a mountain river along the path leading to the rocky monastery. The walkway is equipped with steps and handrails. Everything is safe and comfortable. Thanks to the trout farm workers.
A very beautiful road to the monastery through an abandoned fishing farm. They tried to get to the monastery, but it didn't work out. They say there is a road: directly to the right of the waterfall you need to crawl up.
You will not see the monastery as such, a rock with holes. It will not be possible to climb up to it from below without equipment, and judging by the commemorative plaques, not everyone succeeded with the equipment. Why they decided that this was a monastery is also unclear. The gorge is beautiful like hundreds of others. Trout, they say, is delicious on the farm
As a historical place, it is interesting, very beautiful, the forest is like in a fairy tale, the water is transparent like glass. But it is probably not possible to get to the monastery without special equipment. We climbed the mountain to the monastery by 2/3 and realized that we would not be able to get there. You need to look for a descent from above-on the left, so it looks like from below. But there is a plus, on a trout farm you can order a fish to be caught and fried, believe me, it's very tasty, and it's not expensive, within 200 rubles per fish, local adjika will be served along with the fish - a cool thing!!!!....outside the gate, near the parking lot, in the shop you can buy a liter jar of the same adjika for about 600 rubles. It's better to go to the opening of the farm, there are no people!
It's beautiful, you can take a picture from afar. There's no way to go upstairs. But the forest is very beautiful and picturesque. We liked the trout farming. They gave a net to catch the fish themselves, then gave it to fry on coals. Just salt and pepper, and the taste is just wonderful. We are not picky, this is certainly not a cafe or a restaurant, but we were very satisfied with everything.
Well, the "monastery". If your eyesight is good, you will see a pair of dilapidated "rooms" far up on the cliff. At first, it's not even clear if this is an artificial structure or if nature was joking. But no, the window openings are too rectangular. I can't imagine how the ancient builders were able to climb up there at all. The rock looks completely impregnable.
To get to the place where you can see this landmark, you must first go through the trout farm (entrance is paid), so you will see more pools with fish. In some, they are quite small, in others they are already big. They say you can order trout on the way ahead, and when you return, it will already be fried. We didn't order it.
You will see the monastery only from a great distance) we realized this when we came up against a pile of stones and a rock) but in general it is a good place. The road leads through a trout farm - entrance is paid. There you can order fish, they will catch it right in front of you and cook it. Just make sure you don't get hung up) and then they take 10% more for cooking. Well, it's dirty there for food) This is not a restaurant. Keep in mind.
Entrance is paid. The road along the river is very beautiful. At the end of the road, where the river originates, it is very slippery. A good view of the monostyr opens before reaching the end, from the river.
Not getting into the monastery is life-threatening. There are plaques on the rocks with the names of the dead. But the view from the river is also amazing. Passage through a relict forest with boxwood. And at the very beginning through the trout farm, where you can eat both fried and smoked fish.
Few people will be lucky enough to wander around the monastery itself... it is high and access to it is dangerous. BUT! Even at the foot of the mountain it is fabulously beautiful and the energy of the place vibrates through the veins!
The passage to it through the farel farm is 150 rubles.
