Objectively, for your money, a normal hotel, friendly staff, good location from Halc metro station and bus station 5 minutes walk, to Hagia Sophia in 20 minutes. I've read reviews about bedbugs, but they weren't there during the week. Breakfast is normal for the money that was paid (tea, coffee, juice, boiled and fried eggs, sausage, olives, jams, biscuits, fresh vegetables), our family had enough before lunch. The rooms are a little tired, but they are clean. We've been to a lot of different hotels, but when you come to Istanbul, you come to walk and watch, not sit in a hotel.

It's okay to spend the night
We lived from 11.11.2024 to 14.11. The hotel is certainly a gadyushnik. As well as the entire area of the location as a whole. The Grand Bazaar adjoins it, so there will never be cleanliness there. And there is no point in repairing rooms at the hotel - only those to whom location is more important than comfort will go here.
As I said, you can spend the night, the beds are clean. Our room was even cleaned once.
Regarding bedbugs: we didn't have any in our room. The tourists from the next room said that one was captured alive. Although they are Muscovites and whether they have ever seen a live bug is not clear. But there is such information.
What exactly is there are mosquitoes. They buzz unpleasantly.
As for breakfast, it is there. There is nothing more to say.

the result. If you don't want extreme sports, avoid this hotel. There is a better place nearby. You should also be paid for this hotel, because you lived in such conditions of hard survival.
Don't waste time, money and emotions from Istanbul. We have only emotions about Istanbul from this hotel, other attractions just fade away from its background

I had a terrible impression, I didn't listen to the reviews that bedbugs were everywhere, as a result, they bit me on the second day, at night in bed, in the morning they were covered in bites, at least 20 pieces, it itched terribly. They informed the manager right away, immediately moved him to another room, gave him some liquid to treat the bites (that is, it is clear that he is aware of the existence of bedbugs), but it was necessary to take pills and special ointments, which is an additional expense, upon arrival home a week later, the bites only increased in size, possibly infection or allergy. There were couples with children in the hotel at the time of our stay, thank God, I didn't see any bites on them, another woman complained, but she had few bites. They also gave me a banana for breakfast as an apology, apparently.
The hotel itself is very tired, they don't even try to touch up where the paint has peeled off or where something used to hang, the walls and floors are dirty, I washed them myself with soap, because it's unpleasant to live in it for a week. They also tried to fix the current toilet themselves, but they didn't call any craftsmen. The hangers are wrinkled, the towels are stained and full of holes. The breakfast was meager, but overall it was enough. There was no coffee at all for a couple of days, I don't know why it wasn't possible to buy it right next to the next store. There is no fresh milk in principle. The only star for the location was walking everywhere, to the bazaars, the Galata Tower, and the Balat. Khalida is a very good receptionist, she tried to solve all the issues, she was very responsive if all the hotel staff were like that..
I do not recommend the hotel, especially those with children

There was not much time to choose a hotel, the main criterion for hiking is location. Prices in the district are lower than, for example, in the area (Taksim) across the Galata bridge. Breakfast is normal, but no frills. But the room is sad and sad, everything is tired and old, there is a wall outside the window, it smells of smoke from the street and it is quite noisy, midges and mosquitoes, cockroaches and bedbugs!!!!! Moreover, the hotel staff said that they were just midges, although in fact they knew everything!! Meanwhile, the body was getting worse and worse, the worst thing is that you can bring these animals home and all this hemorrhoids will fall on your shoulders. Poor cleaning, towels and bed linen are generally as tired as everything here. The location is a plus, but that's it. I am attaching a photo. It's better never to come here!!!!

It's a living HELL! Everything is terrible here.
The filth is terrible, the staff is disgusting, they don't respond to your requests at all, it's impossible to sleep, the eternal noise, the lack of a sense of security. We didn't even go to breakfast, it's scary to imagine the conditions in which they are being prepared. This place is not suitable even for overnight stays, it's not a hotel, it's a horror to demolish!!!!!!

At the beginning of the rest everything was fine, but after sleeping one night there were bites on the body, we were told that they were supposedly mosquitoes and midges, but then there were even more bites and it didn't look like mosquitoes and midges. In general, we noticed that these were BEDBUGS, they didn't bite us alone, they also bit the neighbors, it's just tin. And at the reception they even said that they were supposedly "hotel 4", but it doesn't look like anything. At the reception, the "chief" allegedly said to pop some kind of remedy, and when they let him into the room, he knew where they were and where to sprinkle. They asked for compensation, and this supposedly "main one" jokingly replied, saying, "what kind of compensation do you want, you will come to Russia and forget everything", for them apparently BEDBUGS are like flies, there is no matter. At least they didn't bring anything home, otherwise this insect is tenacious. In short, the sanitation is abysmal. The photo also shows the condition of the bathroom, there is black mold. And they don't clean the beds at all, there was garbage left from previous tenants.

I didn't want to write a review until the last moment. TV, furniture do not count because we only came to spend the night because we do not watch TV, the closet is only for storage. I killed 3 cockroaches in the first couple of days. I brought one to the reception for proof, but that's nothing. The main thing is BEDBUGS! At first they didn't believe it, they thought mosquitoes because they really were. The neighbors from the next room told me a couple of days after checking in that they were bitten. I shook both mattresses, took off the sheets. I found dead bedbugs. I didn't see anyone alive, they were probably hiding somewhere. The places of bites do not go away for a long time, in places they blister and itch tin. The cherry on the cake was when they took out a jacket from a suitcase at the airport, which had been in the closet since arrival. And there was a live bug sitting on it. Now throw out the suitcase, all things should also not be washed at temperatures above 60 ° C because they will deteriorate. Kapets!!! From another: The food is simple, monotonous, in general, normal. The location of the hotel is generally convenient. The bed linen was changed once. Towels and toilet paper are only available on request. The walls, curtains, and doors are dirty. I am writing in order to warn others from these problems and tour operators so that they know where they are sending tourists.

If you go to this hotel, you will spoil the impression of your vacation very much. We really do not recommend it, unfortunately, it was the stay in the department that spoiled the impression of the trip. In the photo, I think everything is visible (dirty, it smells very damp, I attach a special photo of curtains - they were never erased from the word at all, after contact with them - I wanted to wash my hands. And the view from the window is terrible. It is better to look for an apartment on Avito, or another hotel, but not here. The hotel itself is a horror (not only the room), but also the general feeling of gloom. There are breakfasts - by and large - you can eat: boiled eggs, cheese, baklava, bread, butter, fresh apples, tomatoes, cucumbers, but you don't want to eat there, it's unpleasant to sit on chairs. I am writing not because I want to annoy the owners, but to warn people who are going to enjoy the trip. If I saw such photos in the reviews, I probably thought about it for sure and looked for something else.

The washbasin is small, when washing you touch the shelf from which everything flies to the dirty floor, water pours onto the handle of the mixer ..., I can continue for a long time. You can't park the car, the street is narrow and dirty. Breakfast is the cheapest it can be and the same every morning. Don't even think about staying there
