A beautiful 1.5 km sparsely populated beach, large rooms, well-groomed territory. The village is not a tourist village, there is only a supermarket nearby, you can only have dinner at the hotel, but the food is not bad. The hotel is for those who want to relax in peace and privacy.
We spent 10 days at the R Degrees Hotel from November 16th to 26th
We were greeted with a welcome drink - juice in a beautiful glass.
We had problems checking in at the entrance. We couldn't find our reservation and for a while we sat in the lobby and waited for the problem to be resolved. We were lucky that we were traveling by transfer from Anex and the hotel guide sorted out the situation. If you take an individual transfer, it is better to buy a SIM card and find out the number of the representative in order to contact him quickly.
They gave 2 rooms to choose from and brought a plate of fruit as an apology.
The Deluxe room is located on the ground floor, you can't boast of a beautiful view. In general, the room is very spacious: a large double bed, a spacious wardrobe, a safe, a TV (not included), a mini-refrigerator (mini-bar for a fee), a make-up table, a sofa, a table. We had a cot in our room, apparently, you can move in a third person :D
The room is dilapidated, the tiles in the shower are cracked, where they are worn out. But this is if you find fault too much.
There is a set of miniatures: shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner, body lotion, soap, toothbrush and paste, shaving machine, ear sticks, mini nail files, slippers. Soap was updated 3 times, bottles with funds 2 times. But we carried all the funds with us, so we hardly used them.
Tea, coffee, Sugar (replenished every 2 days) and water in glass bottles (replenished every day). There were substrates for the glasses that were very dirty and dirty. The guests from the second floor, they are much more presentable (rooms too)
, Towels were changed every day, bed linen is also quite often. It is not crystal white, but the contamination is not so significant.
We only had breakfast included. So far, the hotel was not very full - a la carte format. There are plenty to choose from, in which case, you can pick up in the room and finish later.
When the hotel was fully filled, they made a kind of buffet: there was always rice, some kind of oatmeal, chicken sausages /bacon, pancakes or French toast, beans in tomato sauce, toast with butter and jam, sometimes hash browns appeared, from fruits: bananas, papaya, pineapple, mango.
It seemed like you could order an omelet or scrambled eggs. But sometimes they offered, sometimes they didn't. We still didn't understand if this option was available.
Special thanks to the staff! The guys try to solve any issue, worry so that you feel comfortable. We were allowed to bring our drinks for dinner, which we ordered from their restaurant. By the way, you can buy fish/seafood and ask the cook to cook. We paid 3,000 rupees +300 rupees for the service (10% is always included in the bill). Salads and sauce were added once, but not the second time.
Tips for cleaning were always left: when 100 rupees, when a dollar. The animals were made only for the first 2 days, then they stopped, no matter how much we left for tea. I even left a note on the last day, saying I want an elephant made of towels, please do it. Not done :D
But we found the scales and we prepared in advance for weight control at the airport.
The territory is small. She is being cared for: then they will touch up, then the paths will be cleaned, then a small pool with fish will be put in order. I have not seen the water in the pool changed. Therefore, I cannot say about its cleaning.
We cleaned palm trees on the territory, cut branches and coconuts (as a couple of pieces fell), treated everyone to coconuts for free. Even from nearby hotels. The number of sun beds corresponds to the number of guests, so there was no problem finding a comfortable place. There are hammocks in which you can swing great under the palm trees.
Beach towels are provided separately: either at the reception, or it will be waiting for you on each sunbed (it also depends on the fullness of the hotel).
The access to the ocean is amazing. The water is crystal clear, everything is visible! The shore is sandy, the bottom, for the most part, too. There are sharp stones, so watch your step.
There were almost always waves, but you can find a place on the beach where there are not so many of them.
To sum up: the hotel is fully consistent with the price / quality. We were satisfied and recommend R Degrees to visit! :)
Nice hotel. There is a swimming pool, cleaned daily. Of the dishes, only local cuisine is well prepared, the rest is weak. Sometimes bats braid) There is a good restaurant nearby
