Of the advantages, a good location and a view of the mountains, the river and the monastery and the roof are natural.The hotel is tired of course. Everything is already old, battered, but it works. The staff is friendly, if you ask for something, they are always happy to respond. Of the disadvantages, the restaurant and the cafe nearby, which compete with whom the music is louder and all the guests listen to this cacophony until 23.00. The audibility in the rooms is still pumped up, but everyone writes about it. Oh, yes, the restaurant. The rudeness of the waitresses is at the highest level, they do you a favor that you are a mold, you came to them and even ask for food. Immediately, the desire to re-visit this institution disappears, but in principle they always have few customers.

We had a vacation in November 2024 and lived in 4 cities of Abkhazia. New Athos has the 1st place of residence . Nice city, nice hotel, great rooms! The service is great, the company can relax on the roof, which is very pleasant to dilute the evening) Everything is nearby - waterfall, sea, cave, Anakopian fortress, shops, cafes 👍 Definitely recommend it!

We are having a rest in this hotel Good location- close to all the attractions (for which tourists come from all over Abkhazia, Sochi), the sea is a 15-minute walk away. The hotel with its own restaurant (open from 9 to 23) We have a room with a balcony,a hairdryer,air conditioning,TV,shower,refrigerator The rooms are cleaned every day, A clean and cozy hotel. And the fact that steep stairs are not so scary, four years ago we rested in a hotel where there was an elevator (located near Griffon), then someone often got stuck there. Therefore, it is better to climb with your legs than to sit in a faulty elevator Thanks to all the staff of Griffon for the coziness and comfort they create for their guests!🤗
