A good hotel, although the room is too small -506, you could wipe the dust better, but this will do. Breakfast is monotonous, but you can eat. The location is good, all the sights are within walking distance, but the truth is, to climb the hill .... Legs are buzzing... View from the dining room space, the Marmara Sea, boats . the cost is affordable, perhaps depending on the season, we were in October. In general, it is possible to live, especially considering that we only came to the hotel to sleep. Breakfast at 8-00 and until 23-00 we walked around the city. The staff does not understand Russian, only one cook-cleaner somehow. On the whole , we are satisfied 👍
A good hotel for its price. The location is convenient, Sultanahmet is within walking distance, close to the tram stop. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is monotonous, but with a view of the sea. The rooms in the hotel are small, it is clear that everything is old, but clean.
Located in the center of Istanbul, there are many cafes and shops nearby, as well as an exchange office. The room is small but clean, the breakfast overlooks the sea and ancient buildings, and the staff is very friendly.
Despite the negative reviews from other tourists, I must say that for the combination of price / quality, the hotel deserves 5 stars. Within walking distance of all the key attractions, clean, very modest, but hearty breakfast. Some inconveniences are only caused by a noisy street and loud swearing and beeping car drivers from early morning until late evening.
A great small and cozy hotel. No special frills. It's the perfect place to spend the night. All the attractions can be reached on foot or a couple of stops by tram.
THE HOTEL'S TERRACE OFFERS STUNNING SEA VIEWS. A HEARTY BREAKFAST.
THE ROOMS ARE RENOVATED AND CLEAN
GOOD LOCATİON

It's quite normal for 3 stars, the location is convenient, but the disadvantage is that you need to climb the mountain.
Breakfast, as in all similar hotels, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, cheese, sausage, eggs.
The room is clean, small, everything works except the hair dryer, the bed is clean, the room has not been cleaned in 3 days, but we did not hang the sign. The only thing is that they do not provide drinking water, this is the first time they have encountered this.I had to buy it myself
The hotel is nice and clean, the bed is clean, the room is good, the staff is kind and polite, you can even talk a little in Russian, everything is clear. But one thing is... food. Breakfast is meager, you can say there is none. Monotony every day.
The rooms are small but comfortable, the room has never been cleaned during the stay, the breakfast is quite good with a view of the Bosphorus. The rest of the time there is no drinking water.
A normal hotel. What do you want from such hotels? The view of the Marmara Sea is gorgeous. You can feed the seagulls from the terrace window.

Istanbul hotels, in fact, are designed for you to come and sleep. This hotel does an excellent job of its function.
Certain advantages
+ location! Yes, it's the best! Migros in 1 min. walking distance, exchange offices, shops and cafes with great prices! (What the guests of other hotels might envy) Nearby Baklava is 180 tl/kg (baklava is a dream), when the Grand Bazaar is 1050 tl/kg at the stop, there is no difference, except for the price, as for everything else.
And, of course, the sights! Even on foot, even by tram, everything is nearby!
+ Great view at breakfast, yes, the choice is not rich, but quite passable. Entertainment - feeding seagulls
I am so satisfied with this hotel that I am ready to return there again!
The location of the hotel leaves much to be desired, it feels like living in a market. There is not even a carafe of water and a kettle in the room. Breakfast - you can have a snack.
The hotel exceeded all our expectations. We read the reviews and were prepared for the worst, but, fortunately, our expectations were not met. The room was very clean, the bathroom was in good order, there was always hot water, the air conditioner worked quietly and cooled the room very quickly (it was +34 outside). There was also a small refrigerator in the room, which never let us down and worked as a full-fledged refrigerator. The bathroom has a hairdryer, shampoo, soap, bedside table. The bed linen was clean, spotless, and the towels were all brand new. The TV also pleased me, there was even one Russian channel. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is located in close proximity to all the main attractions of the city, there is a tram line nearby and you can easily get to the Asian part of the city. The embankment is 3-4 minutes away. There was Wi-Fi in the room, the speed was at an altitude, no other hotel had such a fast and high-quality Internet. We didn't like the breakfasts, they were monotonous: eggs, bread, cheese, olives, tomatoes and cucumbers, freeze-dried coffee, powdered milk.
We are considering this hotel for a second stay.
One of the advantages is proximity to everything.. sights, shopping, the sea, the view from the cafe at breakfast, from the cons of the city noise, but there is no way without it, t to the metropolis, the city of a million people. Istanbul is a wizard.
The standard room is 9-10m2. Clean, combined bathroom. The linen is clean. In the presence of shampoo. Soap. A small hair dryer. The elevator is present. Breakfast on the 7th floor, terrace. There is a beautiful view of the sea, which lifts the mood. The center is 10-15 minutes away on foot. There is a tramway nearby. The only thing is that you have to go up a little bit to the tram, but it's easy to get down. It is quite normal for the declared money. Breakfast consists of tomatoes, cucumbers, boiled eggs, cheese, sausage. Tea, coffee, drink. There are no complaints about the staff.
We had a vacation in Istanbul in August. We stayed at the Grand Lisa Hotel for the first time. I really liked it. A cozy hotel, nice, clean rooms, excellent breakfasts overlooking the Bosphorus. Tea and coffee will be brought to the room upon request. The convenient location of the hotel, close to all the sights, the Grand bazaar, tram stop, cafes, restaurants, shops. In a word, everything is fine and I advise everyone. The hotel staff is very friendly, friendly, they will tell you everything, prompt you and call a taxi. Everything is great👍
It seems to be close to transport, but uphill. The area itself is quite seedy - it's not safe in the evening, there's nothing around, it's a wilderness. The restaurant patch of Kumkapi towards the Marmara Sea is a breeding ground for tourists. The location of the hotel is not an advantage at all, but a disadvantage. Breakfast is the same every day! It's not tasty! The bread is musty and damp. The room stinks of sewage. In fact, the cheapest hotel in the aggregator search engines. And his place is not good. The next time in Istanbul, I lived in a really good place - the Sirkeci district - that's where everything is close, lively, beautiful.
The hotel is 3 🌟, the rooms are small, there is nowhere to turn around, there are not enough hangers for three people. The shower cabin is narrow, there is not enough space. But still, it's normal for an overnight stay.
Breakfast is modest, but enough.
The view from the top floor (dining room) is cool
The hotel was chosen by location. If you like to walk, then this is a good option. The center is 400 meters uphill. The bathroom in the room leaves much to be desired. The breakfasts are monotonous (egg, lentil soup, delicious fresh bread, terrible local sausage, apparently there is no good one in Turkey in principle))), delicious dried olives, cucumber, tomato, nut paste, honey, tea, coffee). Eat sweets in cafes!
All the listed reviews are that it is very dirty, the stench of urine, sewage, the shower does not work, the toilet is dirty, I really regretted choosing this hotel, I can't sleep all night from the smell and unsanitary conditions, you will think 100 times about choosing this hotel ,
A decent offer for your money in Istanbul, but far from the sights, and the repair was done a long time ago, but cleanly and without crawling roommates. There is a good restaurant street nearby with many restaurants for every taste (without frills, of course).
We were in May. At first, we booked another hotel, but it was not confirmed. There 's nothing to do . We went in and were horrified. One word- shock! Dirt, mold, hair.the furniture is old. In short, a nightmare. It was disgusting to be there. The water in the shower does not go away. Water sprayed from the watering can in all directions. It is better not to open the mattress at all. The only plus: close to the main attractions.
Average 3.
The location in the very center is already good.
The breakfast is monotonous, the rooms are dirty and very noisy. Cleaning was done 1 time in 7 days.
One day there was a lot of noise from the neighbors, in my opinion they were "tipsy".
A very budget hotel, it's worth thinking 1000 times whether you are ready for discomfort.
The location of the hotel is very good. Everything is within walking distance. The view from the window is gorgeous. In principle, the hotel is not bad, but there needs to be a general cleaning. And a specific one. The room is very dirty. They haven't washed under the beds for probably 10 years. The panels are covered in dust, cobwebs hang down. The mattresses should just be thrown away. They are so dirty. Is it really difficult to clean the rooms properly? After all, the hotel itself is not bad. And his reputation mostly suffers because of the cleanliness of the room.
Clean, cozy, nice view from the window. Shops, cafes, restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast is included in the price. The staff is polite, the wifi is fast enough. It's definitely worth the money.
We visited this hotel in May. We had a three-bed room. The bedclothes were simply turned out .There was a cleaning once, after which the slippers were stolen. They asked to return it-zero motions.Breakfasts and the location of the norms.
There is no comrade for taste and color. Probably it all depends on the number that you get. We came across an average lousy room, a hole in the wall instead of a toilet flush button, the ceiling in the bathroom is crumbling, the lamp in the room is just a lamp with wires, the glass that should cover it was apparently broken. A nice bed, air conditioning and a cool view from the cafe on the 7th floor, that's probably all. The location is normal, but there are better ones. One word from breakfast, it is unbearable to eat boiled eggs for 3 days, nothing else is served. The staff is lazy, not friendly, no I would say. I would give this hotel 2 stars.
Cons: far from the tram stop, uphill
The food is the same every day
There is no view from the window
The water is flowing, the air conditioner is not working
But they cleaned, in general, 3 maximum
After reading the reviews, I was set up for a mess and lack of food at breakfast. We arrived late, checked in quickly, were escorted out, everything was explained(they hardly speak Russian), but everything is clear in principle. The room was clean, there were 2 fresh, fragrant towels, Slippers, shampoo and soap. There was hot water, the room was warm. At breakfast, you put everything on yourself, not as they wrote everywhere, they give you a ready portion and that's it. There is no variety, but there was enough to have a snack before a walk. In principle, I hardly eat for breakfast. Eggs, cheese, sausage, sliced vegetables, butter, honey, shock. Pasta, processed cheese, there was also something like soup, but I'm a Turkish national. I don't really like soups, I didn't even look at what was there) But people took it, ate it up)Coffee (more like chicory), tea. Very tasty bread. That's the whole non-tricky breakfast. But we had enough. In principle, it's worth 3 stars. Therefore, the assessment is appropriate (there was nothing to reduce it for).
Frankly a weak hotel.... Old, very dirty. There is no service as such. The only two advantages are the location (all historical sights are within walking distance) and a good Wi-Fi. There are a huge number of hotels nearby. Obviously, you can choose better.
The hotel is typical for the 3* Center of Istanbul. Its main feature is that it is located across the street from the area of Kumkapi fish restaurants. This is a great cuisine and very reasonable prices. People from other parts of Istanbul come here for dinner. I RECOMMEND IT!
Hello everyone Please read to the end. I'll start right away with the Grand Liza Hotel! As soon as the transfer arrived, a guy with glasses met me at the reception and gave me the keys with such a look. He did not speak or understand Russian at all. By the way, none of the staff speaks Russian.
The hotel itself is in terrible condition, and the location is a completely different story! If you want a quiet place so that you can relax after a rest, then definitely not this area! Noise and dirt are everywhere! It is better to choose an area slightly higher, where, for example, the Bayazit mosque.
Now about the hotel! I'll probably start with the Kitchen! There is no kitchen at all. The dishes are very dirty, all broken. Dirty tables and even chairs. Breakfast was only hot - boiled eggs and that's it! Cheese and sausage, which I don't eat sausage at all. I also saw powdered lentil soup for breakfast once, but I didn't even try it.
And the most interesting thing is, the same guy with glasses is standing washing dishes and cleaning the table! The hotel saves so much that there is a smart house everywhere in the corridor - the light reacts to movement. Sometimes you come to your room and the lights go out as soon as you start looking for the keys. It's not a pleasant moment! I talked to the cleaner and said that the hotel is very poor.
About the same guy with glasses, he was also vacuuming at the reception hall.
Now about the number! The room was very dirty! I've never had my place cleaned! Imagine that! Not once in 7 nights! The towels are full of holes, torn, and some kind of yellowness. The bed linen is dirty, stained, with pellets! The bathroom is terrible, hair is everywhere, there were some traces. The toilet is generally a separate story, I don't even want to write! And there were cigarette butts lying on the windowsill!
I travel a lot, but I've never seen such SHIT before!
Thank you for reading my review to the end!) Choose another hotel and don't get fooled by the beautiful photos!
Choose this hotel only if you only need to spend the night. The rooms are standard, only clean bed linen and one bath towel. The showers leave much to be desired, the garbage is not taken out, there is no cleaning. The staff is not friendly. If breakfast is included, then boiled egg, bread and cucumbers with tomatoes are edible. There is also a very beautiful view from the windows of the cafe on the sixth floor.
We just returned from vacation and I want to leave a review. We usually take an inexpensive hotel, since we need it purely as an option to wash and spend the night. Usually, 3 stars were always quite acceptable, but this time there was something. I was struck by the dirt in the room, they seemed to be trying to clean up, then it was for visibility, I had never seen such a dirty room, although I had seen a lot of them, and I am not particularly picky, I repeat, the room needs to be clean for the night. Plus, on top of everything, the walls are cardboard and the audibility is just terrible, especially for some reason no one went to bed in this hotel before 2 a.m. Therefore, every night, and we were seven nights, going to bed at 11 a.m., until 2 a.m. we listened to screams, knocks, the staff yelled among themselves, not realizing at all that it was the dead of night. The only plus is a good location, although considering that there are hotels at every turn, it was possible to find much better, since it simply could not be worse
I am currently in this hotel, there is probably no worse hotel on the M4 highway, the rooms are dirty, towels are full of holes, ants
In a word, horror
There is no iron for the entire hotel 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Of the advantages, only the view from the window, that's probably all!
This is the most disgusting hotel in the history of my travels, and there are quite a few of them, and the hotel has three stars, but I have never seen such a neglected, smelly and fungal shower! There are holes in the walls, walls, panels, a toilet without a lid, tiles have not been washed since the restoration of 2010, and what kind of toilet paper they put is just lovely, and their cleaning is wonderful, they washed in the middle and that's it! My advice to you is not to be fooled by the picture, it's not like that! Even the view they have from the dining room terrace is not worth it.
I haven't written such reviews yet, and I hope I won't be useful anymore!
Terrible hotel! The breakfasts are small (no sewing table, they give one plate with 3 slices of tomato, 5 slices of cucumber, 2 pieces of sausage (as in the photo), coffee is served in a dirty jar! The rooms are old, there was a hole in the shower (as in the photo). There are dirty dishes in the hallway. I do not recommend coming here. The area itself is like a ghetto, there are a lot of sellers who are always pushing something at you. It's good that we were recommended to go to more decent areas, otherwise we would have been very disappointed in the whole of Istanbul. Conclusion: do not be fooled by beautiful photos, most likely they were taken 20 years ago (((
